Like I said yesterday, I'd go with Zouma and Rüdiger. I'm going to cringe every time a cross goes in with AC's soft ass in there. They are a physical, in your face side. Chris Wilder will have his team extremely well prepared on our weaknesses. We need our most physical players for this one. It'll be a battle. Hopefully their exertions today against Wolves will take a bit out of them.

Not sure why the network here in America decided to televise City v Newcastle rather than Wolves v Sheff United. Literally no reason to watch 99% of City's matches against small teams becasue they're over almost instantly. Not even remotely competetive. Feels like Newcastle have had about 10% possesion.

Just do what other big clubs have done and pay in 2 installments. The bulk of the fee this summer, the other part next summer. Like Arse are doing with Pepe.

Mbappe is the most obvious Real Madrid player ever. And I doubt they can afford both he and Havertz.

That would be an extreme advantage to the big clubs. Should allow English clubs to go further in Europe as well since you can rotate more and keep players fresher.

👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Hopefully he means this and isn't just playing the diplomat. With our dramatic improvement in attacking options next season Jorginho can be a massive part in helping us dominate teams. Should never be sold this summer.

Our defensive frailty may not rear it's ugly head as often if our attack is dramatically better and more clinical. Someone like Havertz (and Werner and Ziyech) will help us convert our dominance against small teams into goals. As we have seen for the past couple of seasons with Liverpool and City you blow teams away, make them surrender, and they don't get at your defense. How many times this season have we completely dominated terrible sides, failed to score, and then they sucker punch us and win? If you have a chance to after a mega talent like Havertz relatively free of competition you have to grab it. Do we need him? No. But we will have an INSANE selection of attacking talent at our disposal rivaling City or anyone else in Europe if we get him.

I really, really hope Kova can get fit for this. It's going to be another battling opponent. We desperately need Kova's close control and running with the ball between the midfield lines.

Pretty terrible result for Arsenal considering the chances they created and who Leicester were missing. They could've been out of sight if Lacazette scored that diving header. No Maddison, no Chilwell, no Ricardo. That'll feel like a loss to them. Oh well. Leicester still have some tough games left just like us.

Rüdiger + Zouma for the remainder of the season, pls. Zouma dominates nearly every physical duel and we have to trust that Rüdi has learned from his benching now and cuts out the mistakes. Because AC is lightweight and is constantly in danger of getting skint in our own box. Can't take him anymore.

Reece James has that same problem that RLC does. They both have all the physical tools to be monstrous, freak footballers but they are both so nonchalant, loose, and lackadaisical. If they had aggressive, assertive mentality to go along with their physical ability they'd be world class. Also, much as I love Billy and he's one for the future for sure, Jorginho is our midfield boss without question, instantly made a dramatic difference when he came on.

Fucking hell, I nearly had a heart attack in stoppage time. Our defending will be the death of me.

Midfield is completely nonexsistant. They're just easily playing straight through our whole team with one simple pass. We are desperately missing Kante and Kova here.
