Probably the most question marks about a Chelsea lineup in ages. We have no idea what the XI is going to be because even with injuries we still have so many players to choose from. Have Brighton done any business? I don't even know who their main threats are. I know they let go of Glenn Murray and Aaron Mooy who was one of their better players last season. I just really hope we don't look super rusty. I want to see us look sharp and aggressive like several other sides have this past weekend. Have some confidence and excitement going into Liverpool rather than anxiousness.

And apparently WH are completely skint from blowing their money last summer. So if they have any hope of buying this window, selling us Rice and using that money may be their only chance to improve their side. Again, it's surely going to take Rice demanding to go in order for this to happen. This may be WH's only chance to get a huge fee for him because if they get relegated his price drops through the floor.

Btw, I don't think Harry Kane is the same player anymore. Lost a yard of pace and he was never the quickest even at his peak. He looks kind of stiff and sluggish to me. I'm sure we'll be linked with him along with the other big teams soon but I wouldn't go near him for the mega money he'll command. Has Man United for stupid money written all over him next summer.

Spuds look like the same kind of stale side they did last year. Not horrendous but just...meh. Mou already looks miserable and pissed off. And their fans probably can't stand seeing a side like Everton coming to their house and bossing it.

For me, Rice will look significantly better when he got a quality setup around him and players who allow him to just keep his game simple. He's got shite like Mark Noble around him at WH and just about zero creativity in front of him so he's forced to try to do everything. Again, he's not a £60-80m player. Never in a million years. But put him at the base of our midfield next to Kante/Kova/Jorginho and I think he adds a hell of a lot of steel and energy in there.

West Ham are absolutely shit. Rice and Antonio are the only two quality players who regularly perform. The rest of the team are Championship level. Hope they finally get flushed down this season.

Must say, Mo Salah looks razor sharp to start this season. By far Liverpool's most dangerous attacker today.
