We get Pulisic & Ziyech up to speed soon and you never know...
-
Barkley wasn't good enough to be a starter for us. But it's insane that we've sent him out and kept RLC who isn't as good. Was a good bench option against tired legs or as a cup player.
-
But if we actually wanted him we could've triggered it at any time over the past few weeks. Why wait until the last minute? Cant be because we're waiting to send others on loan because the likes of RLC don't play in that area.
-
As I said the other day, no more incomings. No club is selling us a key player of theirs on the last day with no replacement lined up. We've had an insane window beyond what any of us could've wished for. Would've been the cherry on top of the cake to end the window with one last bang by getting a DM but we can't do everything in a single window sadly.

At this rate I expect Ed Woodward will be panic buying Koulibaly for £80m tomorrow. 😆
-
Been this way for a couple of years now, but Son is Spuds' best player, not Kane. What a player. I hate that he plays for these bastards. He plays in the same role and has the same skill set as Werner so I hope Timo can be for us what Son is to Spuds.
-
LMAO! Lamela should be suspended for 3 matches for that reaction.
-
United defense looking like ours from last season.
-
That defending! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 £85m!!!!!
-
Fucking Penandes 30 seconds in. Fuck off.
-
Sheffield United have fallen off a cliff since the restart last season. They look nowhere near as what they were before then. Turgid.
-
Declan Rice has been fantastic once again here, btw. If only we hadn't left it so late he may well be wearing blue right now.
-
Cavani was there to be had for ages and United could've had him ready to go weeks ago if he was a genuine Solskjaer target. That they're just doing so now right at the deadline proves he's pure panic. Already have one stopgap striker in Ighalo, now have another Riots if they don't get Sancho. 😂 Horrendous transfer window from them if so.
-
True. But in this case it's a player who probably dreams of playing here and one who Frank knows extremely well. Who knows, maybe Lamps still views Rice as a CB and we can get Partey this year and Rice next. 🤔
-
Partey would be one hell of a consolation if Rice is impossible but I think Frank will just want to wait. We waited for Chilly when he was by far Frank's first choice target, I'm sure we'll wait here as well.
-
Yep. I mean, with the pace he'll have around him with Rashford and others he should be effective but Man United, the "biggest club in the world," having to panic buy a 34 year old striker who everyone else in Europe declined is pathetic. United fans expected them to have a very similar transfer window to us. Instead it appears they'll sign a backup midfielder and a backup striker. Still time to panic and throw the full 120m at Sancho I guess.
-
Two straight matches where City are unbelievable initially and then their quality falls off a cliff. Wtf is going on with them? Liverpool will once again waltz to the title if this keeps up.
-
Cavani would be a decent signing for them had they done a bunch of other brilliant business throughout the summer. Panic buying him after failing everywhere else at the last minute is terrible business. Most of their fans seem livid.
-
Yeah, appears our board aren't suckers who would agree to a buy option rather than an obligation luckily. I just said an hour ago that I'd keep him but if we can't get them to pay a guarneteed £70m I'd let him go and sign either a DM or maybe Benrahma to directly replace him.
-
Wow, that's a lot of money. I figured they would try to cheap out and offer half that just to turn his head.
-
City look just as good as they did early on against Leicester here. They are scary good when they're in this form going forward. And this is with no striker. When they eventually sign Agüero's long term replacement (I don't rate Jesus at all) what a disgusting team they'll have.
-
The Leeds keeper has the face of a 10 year old.
-
Yeah, he's very similar to Willian in that regard. He almost always gets the ball when he's standing still and tries to beat his marker from that position which is much harder. It's pretty frustrating. I don't want to keep so much for what he is currently, I just want to avoid another Salah or KDB where we let go of a super talent too soon. If he goes to Germany and develops into a monster we will look like total idiots again.
-
Weird. So it sounds like if it's completely up to Frank he'll stay. But it seems Callum's had his head turned again. For me it's way too risky both in the short and long term. He has to stay.
-
It would be very easy for Frank to say when he's repeatedly asked about CHO that he's 100% staying and its case closed. But he hasn't which is very strange.
