Mase is just invincible, huh? Undroppable for man anger after manager. In the past it has been justified but he has stunk up the joint all season and still starts every single match. Doesn’t send the best message to the rest of the boys like Gallagher & Carney who are competing for his spot in the XI, does it? I guess we have to hope the 2 week break has did him some good and he’s back refreshed.

I just think Auba as much as any player in our team this season has suffered from our horrible lack of creativity and service. In many of his appearances he gets on the pitch and barely touches the ball. But we’ve now signed 3 brilliantly creative players in Enzo, Mudryk, and Félix who could’ve worked well with Auba if he came on as a sub if we’re chasing a goal.

Ooof. Auba has been a big time disappointment but I think it’s extremely harsh to drop him out of the CL squad. Why not remove Pulisic who is both injured for a while longer and most importantly we have his position very well covered now? With both Mudryk and Sterling fit Pulisic was highly unlikely to play any role in the CL. Auba was our only actual striker and could’ve been useful. Especially since he’s already helped us early in the competition.

Think we definitely will be in the market for a long term partner for Enzo in the summer. We’ve got lots of young midfielders for the future but none of them are ready to be everyday starters. The rumors a couple of days ago about Amrabat sound pretty good to me. We don’t have to completely break the bank again for another midfielder to significantly upgrade. We don’t have to go for Rice or Caicedo even though they’d be ideal.

What’s annoying with him in particular is that seemingly every time he picks up an injury it looks totally innocuous but then he ends up missing weeks and weeks. I don’t even remember what this current injury was but I thought it was supposed to be minor.

Gvardiol was my #1 dream target last summer but he’d be totally nonsensical now. Even if we move Koulibaly this next window we’d still have two extremely young left footed, left sided CB’s. We may already have a headache on our hands with trying to please both Colwill & Badiashile. Unless the idea is to become a back 3 side for good the last thing we need is another expensive CB.

Enzo apparently may not have his work permit situation handled in time to play tomorrow. That would mean a pretty dire looking midfield in terms of defensive solidity. A Gallagher + RLC or Gallagher + Carney midfield paring doesn’t exactly fill you with confidence.

Morocco fans are super hardcore as we saw at the World Cup. And there are a LOT of Moroccan’s in Paris. They were desperate to see their hero Ziyech at PSG.

Kova is one of our best players. No shot that we’d consider selling him.

Fulham will be a significantly different proposition than when we played them a couple of weeks ago since Mitro will be back and they’ve signed a couple of new players I think. So despite all of our new firepower I’m definitely not expecting us to go in and blow them away. Especially after this long layoff.

I understand PSG’s annoyance and anger as well but them briefing journalists that they’re “so furious that they’ll never do business with Chelsea again” is ridiculous. If he is someone you wanted so badly then don’t wait until the final day to move for him. And don’t be cheap bastards trying to get a loan move when you’ve got limitless oil money and a billion pound squad. Best thing for Ziyech over the remainder of the season is if Potter still gives him minutes as if this saga didn’t happen. And I hope Todd and whoever on the administrative staff that fucked up apologize to him directly and promise that they’ll make his move in the summer as smooth and easy as possible.

Reading around all the opposition forums and seeing the salt is hilarious. But the fan base complaining that gasses me up more than any other is Man City fans losing their minds. Man fucking City fans bitching about our spending!!! 🤣🤣🤣 And the even funnier compliant from their fans is some of them acting so puzzled as to why all these top players are deciding to come to Chelsea rather than waiting for a “better club” like City in the summer. City have won PL title after PL title in recent years and are still nowhere NEAR Chelsea in terms of club prestige and respect. Chelsea are still a MUCH bigger club globally than Man City and will continue to be until they stop embarrassing themselves in Europe. A club that spent £100m on a diving Gucci model moaning about us…….do me a favor!

Enzo is essentially what Jorginho could’ve been if he had the desire to make forward passes. He’s got that same ability to completely run a game from deep in midfield but unlike J5 he can actually create. And as a bonus he’s got a tenacious streak to him.

So in the end they agreed to SIX installments with only £40m up front? What was all the fuss about then? That seems WAY more favorable to us than them but all the reporting was that they demanded all 100m+ up front.

Don’t know why people are suddenly getting excited about that medical stuff. All they’re saying is that the medical will be completed in Portugal IF we can reach an agreement. Which is just common sense with so little time left in the window. They’re not saying that a medical is about to be commencing.
