  1. Reece having a terrible game so far in defense. Fine going forward but so sloppy otherwise.
  2. As I said. We were just asking for it. What the fuck was Kova doing so far out of position?
  3. Letting them stroke it around with this much space is just asking for trouble.
  4. Each one of the Real Madrid defenders has a silly error in them if we actually try to get at them. And as sensational as Modrić & Kroos are in possession they can be exploited off the ball as we’ve proven for two consecutive seasons. This is one of those matches where we need our midfielders to be extremely sharp on the ball. Every once in a while Kova will have an uncharacteristic sloppy game on the ball and we cannot afford that here.
  5. Love this team selection. Felix and Sterling are the best forwards we have at making the ball stick when played at their feet between the lines. Super dynamic midfield 3 and hopefully James & Chilly are aggressive.
  6. I have seen him at Lakers games this season. He’ll probably be there this week for sure.
  7. Todd making sure Chelsea look like clowns if we lose in humiliating fashion tonight… 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
  8. The talk with Bellingham with Liverpool out of the way is that Real Madrid are favorites. But they have Valverde, Tchoameni, and Camavinga as their young, future midfield already. All are under 25 and have been projected as future world class players. So how does spending £120m or more on another young midfielder make sense? I guess if both Kroos and Modrić go there’s room, but there’s no indication of that happening. They already have to shuffle Camavinga and Valverde around to strange positions because their midfield is loaded.
  9. Meh. Not impressed with Scaloni. Or any manager that’s coaching international football, really. Especially one that had the greatest player in history putting in Man of the Match performances every single game and had other world class performers as well. And I wasn’t trying to belittle River. I know they’re massive in South America. But I still think it would be a massive risk to appoint someone who has never managed in Europe. I’d say the same thing if we were linked with the manager of some mega club in Brazil. Yes, they may be at the pinnacle of the sport in South America, but the quality of the competition is nowhere near the PL.
  10. Yeah, no more mega gambles likes Lampard and Potter. A dude who has never even managed in Europe, never mind a TOP club is ridiculously stupid for a club which desperately needs to get back into the UCL ASAP. As I said here in the days right after Potter was sacked, a manager with BIG CLUB experience should be the first prerequisite. Someone who has managed big players in huge games and commands instant respect of the dressing room. In the same way a load of our players had to Google who tf Graham Potter was and clowned on him for being in over his head, we’d have the same thing if we appointed this Gallardo guy.
  11. If we actually show up and try to take them head on rather than act like scared pussies who are psychologically beaten before a ball is kicked we can hurt them. A fit Kante and a fit Thiago Silva give us a chance. Not sure where a goal is going to come from but we should be able to at least put up a fight in midfield.
  12. So uh…..when is anything going to happen with City getting hit with like 100 financial violations? That may be the only thing that stops them dominating for years and years to come. All the English press have just been briefed today that Liverpool are out of the race for Bellingham because he’s too expensive with them needing so many new players. So he will almost certainly be favorite to go to City instead.
  13. Bayern have no top class forward, Goretzka isn’t all that great next to Kimmich, and they have multiple error prone defenders. Combine all that with the fact that they’re not used to being dominated in the Bundesliga and this is the result. Same issue PSG face every season now. Hard to suddenly play a side that’s not terrified of you like they do every week in Germany or France.
  14. Arse fans have to be shitting themselves watching this 🤣🤣🤣
  15. To beat City in this form you need to be a side that can be error free defensively and shithouse them. Like we have done numerous times in the Pep era. The only sides left in the UCL that can do it to them again are ourselves and Real Madrid. And that’s if we both have all key players fit.
  16. Add Upamecano to the above. Been awful all game. Error after error. Looks like Koulibaly out there.
  17. Alphonso Davies has been absolutely dogshit here today. Does so many brainless things.
  18. There’s no other truly standout side in this years UCL so I think they’ll finally win it this year sadly. Don’t think Arse will choke the PL away, though. Would be hilarious.
  19. Bayern have loads of quick attackers here but no focal point or natural goal scorer. How are they going to score here?
  20. My prediction is that City gets through comfortably. Hope I’m wrong, but Bayern simply aren’t used to playing a team that’s got more quality than they do. PSG & Barca who they played already aren’t near City currently.
  21. The idea that a golden boy, fan favorite, 18 year old future star midfielder like Gavi would leave Barca seems extremely hard to believe. Especially them letting him walk for free. With the insane amount of pressure they as a club put on players from the media, club hierarchy, etc I think they’ll get him to sign a new contract. As for him as a player, he looks very talented and tidy. But then so does just about any Spanish midfielder. His aggressive nature and fiery personality are what intrigues me most about him. But to my eyes he doesn’t look nearly as special as the other Barca star boy Pedri.
  22. Feels impossible to believe that one of the biggest, most successful clubs in world football like Chelsea will have too much trouble attracting big money sponsors. Big corporations and brands are desperate to associate themselves with PL clubs. Doing so with one of the very biggest and most supported ones worldwide even more so. This doom and gloom about us being unable to secure them feels silly to me right now.
  23. Highly technical, super classy footballers like Felix are going to be needed if we’re appointing Luis Enrique or Nagelsmann. I’ll be glad if we keep him. Likewise, Mac Allister would be a totally sensible buy and would be a gargantuan upgrade on Gallagher and would adequately replace Mase if he leaves. Reading about the financials of the club over the past couple of days I’m just skeptical about whether we can afford what we need this coming summer. A world class striker, a top class midfielder or two, and a top class keeper is another £200m+. We will have to get incredible fees for all these outgoing players if we want to get all we need.
  24. Was always extremely silly that reports were popping up about us selling him. He’s one of our best players.
  25. It’s still astounding how in the span of ONE YEAR Arse have become a dominant buzzsaw and one of the best sides in Europe whilst we have become a laughingstock.
