If Kova stays fit for the remainder of the season and maintains his current form I don’t know how we can sell him. He’s one of the best midfielders in the league when in form and someone you want in the XI in the biggest games. Mount on the other hand is harder to justify paying the massive salary demand. With Nkunku, Havertz, and potentially Felix staying who can all play behind the new striker we buy, where does Mase fit going forward?

Since Kante is basically an alien when fit I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he immediately look really good after coming back from this long injury. It appears as though the club have gone above and beyond to give him an extremely long ramp up time so that he’s 100% fit. Would be an amazing boost to the remainder of this season if he hits the ground running and doesn’t pick up another injury.

At Felix’s age and with his talent level I’d say anything £80m or under is great value for him and we should pay it. I know the hard numbers show him with just 1 goal so far with us but he’s been so unlucky. Should have about 5 right now. Long term Mount insurance and an upgrade. Appears to have a great relationship with lots of our squad already and especially with Enzo. 100% keep in my opinion.

Kind of puzzled as to why this is even a rumor. Why would we sell one of our better and most important players to a team we’re trying to compete with? It makes zero sense. And for these noises to pop up again as he’s rounding into his best form again is laughable. Chilly and James should both be untouchable.

Any player that’s been shockingly poor for an entire season deserves to be dropped, tbf. If his decision has already been made that he wants to go then bleed whoever wants him for as much as we can.

Unfortunately, Arse play the sort of football that should see them maintaining this level for good next year and beyond. They sadly don’t seem like a one hit wonder PL winner to me. They’ve got those Guardiola style patters and understanding from each and every player front to back engrained into them now. They can now go and up the overall quality of their squad in them summer which is where their true weakness is. They’ve been fortunate to not sustain a long term injury to any of their key midfielders and only Jesus out of their attack has missed long stretches. With CL footy and likely title winning pedigree they’ll be MUCH more attractive to genuinely top players which they haven’t been for like 10 years. The cunts are here to stay, as annoying as it is to admit. No excuse at all for us not to be up there challenging them if we are smart in completing our team in the summer, though.

Remember Fulham treating their game against us like a cup final a few weeks ago. I’m not watching today but see they’re bending over and spreading their cheeks for Arsenal of course judging by the score that’s flashing on my screen. Could be 3-0 up with ing 30 minutes if not for a tight VAR review.

Yeah, we really don’t need Gvardiol anymore. Not with Badiashile here now, not with Colwill returning, and not with us seeing that Cucu can fill in if necessary. These players are all very young as well and specialize in playing on the left side. Spending £90m or whatever on an area of the squad that’s well stocked is extreme overkill. We will already struggle to keep this group happy once everyone is fit and available. Gvardiol will almost certainly be playing for City next season. Which will be annoying as a huge fan of his but I’m more than happy with our CB options now. Our only focus this summer needs to be on getting a lethal striker and an absolute baller of a DM. That and doing a massive clear out the likes of which nobody has ever seen.

For much of the season we had everyone struggling all at once. Now more and more of them are playing super well all at once and our results are now reflecting that. -Koulibaly looks like the Napoli version now. Not thinking too much, rushing, and then panicking when pressed. -Fofana looks like the player we spent £70m on and I will remind everyone here that I’ve said all along that I was sure he’d be great for us in the long term. -Cucu still doesn’t look like the dual attacking and defending threat he was at his best but he looks like he belongs at this level now at least. -Havertz has been the biggest surprise for me after Koulibaly. He’s actually holding on to possession now. Perhaps if we keep building up confidence in the PL we can make a real run at the UCL.

Hopefully that’s just some slight fatigue for Fofana. Been immense for us again.

Cucu has again been an animal in these 1v1 battles today. Just like against Dortmund.

Mudryk still far from sharp but this has been a pretty good performance overall from him. Been a danger.
