They’re an injury to Casemiro away from disaster. They REALLY need to bring Amrabat in who they’ve stalled on all summer long.

If United had Hojlund here or another natural striker they’d have a couple of goals. Likewise, if Kane was still there for Spuds he’d be on the end of some of these passes and could have a couple as well. Both missing a true focal point.

That’s a pen for me. Spuds are bang average. Bissouma looks good but everyone else looks subpar.

Spuds look like absolute dogshit. Their new keeper and the new CB both look mega shaky and panicky.

Simply for the Goldbridge/United fan meltdown I hope Spuds outplay them like Wolves did. The United supporters have been super arrogant all summer saying they’ll be title contenders. If they look as poor today as they did last weekend then the panic will start to kick in.

Yep. Wolves look much better in general play compared to last season but their biggest issue still remains that they simply cannot score goals. A clinical opponent scores at least a couple against Brighton today.

As I said earlier, when they come up against sides with elite midfields I think they struggle. Having Pascal Groß and Billy Gilmour as their midfield pairing is VERY lightweight. They’ve also got 50 year old James Milner in there. But against the clubs outside of the big boys they’ll be great.

With the squad we have now there’s absolutely no reason we should struggle for goals again this season. Brighton have Danny Welbeck and a bunch of attackers outside of Mitoma who you’d call very average and yet they score for fun.

Brighton are fucking brilliant…. They’ll struggle against teams with top midfields without Caicedo but against teams like their first 2 opponents they’ll dominate. They play such calm, composed football. De Zerbi has made them amazing. Think we’re looking at the next Man City manager here.

Mitoma is what Mudryk needs to be for us. Get the ball 1 on 1 with defenders and run sprint at them with your electric pace. They can’t deal with that often times. He doesn’t even have to do any tricks or flicks. Mitoma often times just runs at people and asks them questions. Mudryk needs to do the same consistently.

Mitoma is an amazing winger. Brighton’s next big transfer saga. Can only imagine the fee they’ll demand.
