Enzo was really rounding into form controlling that match and pulling the strings. Get Caicedo next to him and we will be a true force. Pay the fucking money! I was vehemently against silly money for him earlier in the window but it’s urgent now. He can be the difference between top 4 or not.

Thought a lot of our players took a big step up tonight from last match. Enzo, Colwill, Jackson, Gusto, and Mudryk all looked great to me. Nobody played badly per se. Sterling was shakey as hell but also got a bit better. Should’ve won that VERY comfortably. And this last match serves to show the board once more what we still need.

In terms of creating chances and looking dangerous in the final third we’re totally dominating them. Just missing the final, decisive action.

You swap out Gallagher for Caicedo and Sterling for Kudus and we improve dramatically both going forward and at controlling the midfield. I was an adamant Sterling defender and thought he should get a fresh chance under Poch. But damn, does he look spent. Giving him the ball is basically giving it to the opposition.

Playing at half speed and without true sharpness we could’ve still scored 3-4 and Dortmund didn’t create one real chance. Not great to watch but still encouraging. Nkunku is SO important for our attack, though. So we’re in trouble if that’s a serious knee injury.

Our players look like they’re kinda coasting out there and trying not to over do it on this shit pitch.
