are u an idiot or something? there is a reason there is a squad of 25 people. there is a reason why "big" teams have 8 defenders for their 4 positions. city - zabaleta, kolarov, richards, clichy, kompany, nastastic, demichellis, lescott united - vidic, jones, evans, smalling, rafael, evra, fabio, buttner or do u think they should loan out players too? their is a squad so as to cover for injuries and too many games. bertrand was a perfect squad player for that. and thats the reason we had 6 ams for 3 positions, 5 CMs for 2 positions. get it?? so as to cover for injuries which unfortunately plays a big role!!!

we have BA and essien "on the books" earning 80k and 100k respectively but are worried about bertrand's wages? weird!! how conviniently u emphasize on "league". RB was never going to be the first team player. where he is used best was in squad rotation. with the FA cup matches and replays to be played, that is where he would have been useful. also, in giving a "rest" to our fullbacks before big european nights in quarters and semis. what i dont get is, its fine having 3 strikers for 1 positions, 6 CMs for 2 positions but bertrand as our 7th defender is unnecessary. also, the shaw deal, still makes no sense. 20mil for him to be our 3rd choice LB cos i dont see jose dropping iva once he comes back and every1 knows his favouritism towards ash. also the scenario i gave u might be hypothetical but can so easily be "reality". injuries in football is not unheard of and thats why "big" teams normally have "squad" depth. i mean lets look at man city - kolarov, clichy, zabaleta, richards as their fullbacks and kompany, demichellis, nastastic, and lescott as their cbs. and here we are sending a perfectly fine squad player on loan

24 year old and we are worried about his "developement". cos if he plays week in and week out now, he will probably become the next AC. i mean in the next 4 months, RB playing for villa would change him into the best defender in the world, right? SCENARIO - iva is out for city match. azpi/cole get an injury in the united/stoke fa cup game. who plays as your RB/LB? kalas? essien? but u r right, sending out bertrand for loan is more important than title aspirations. mata is also sitting on the bench, lets loan him out. KALAS? so u r fine with a 20 year old CB being our 7th choice defender (which is actually not true cos if kalas is our 7th choice defender then baker is our 6th choice CM since both of them have played the same amount of minutes this season). instead we go out and loan a perfectly fine LB. this deal makes 0 sense, why not simply loan out kalas then? his "develpoment" is way more important and even possible than bertrand's.
-
bertrand loan is already on our official site. http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3625006/title/bertrand-loaned-to-villa
-
KALAS??? is he still here!!! tell me the number of minutes he has played. SCENARIO - iva not available for city match, just in case one of azpi/cole gets injured, who hell is going to play LB/RB??? essien??? kalas??? this is a STUPID move. even if we buy LUKE right now, its still stupid cos we will be paying at least 20+mil for a LB. no spin that u can put to this move can make it any better.
-
so now we have 6 defenders. JT, GC, DL, iva, AC and azpi. 2 of those 6 defenders are 33 year olds and we are in the business end of the season but suddenly we are worried about the "development" and "playtime" of a 24 year old LB. ya great move!!! THUD indeed!!! lets play JT and AC every match until they fall down on the pitch. but leave RB on the bench... oh nooo thats just blasphemy!!! we have 3 strikers for 1 position, 6 CMs for 2 position but are worried about bertrand being on the bench. BRILLIANT!!1
-
6 defenders for 4 positions. just plain stupid. 2 out of those 6 are 33 year olds. how does this deal help us in anyway?
-
bertrand on loan... fuck... thats just stupid..

our CMs are not young. rambo will be 27 next season, matic will be 26, and mikel will be 27. theoretically all 3 of them should be in their prime. somehow i feel mvg would have had a good enough part to play this season if he had not been injured for 9 months and add to that atleast one of our youth products of romeu/josh/chalobah/ake and u have a decent center midfield. i am in no way saying anything against lamps. he is a legend and his experience and AURA are irreplacable. but we will have to get over him sometime and i feel next season would be best. i would hate to lose lamps, JT, cole together. that would be a BIG BLOW to the mentality of the squad. hence phase them out one by one. add to that the fact that lamps will be taking atleast 100kpw, it just becomes too much.
-
no need to apologize dude. i am pretty sure. he was not named in our CL squad, we had to fill in the "homegrown" spots and hence he was sacrificed. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-uefa-champions-league-squad-2251256
-
he is not cup tied. infact he was not even in our 23 man CL squad.
-
he is 19 who has 4 years on his contract. so why would u want to sell him now? let him develop into a player, see how that goes and then make a decision.
-
25 mil is a fair evaluation. he is 21 for god's sake. thats like at least 15 years. AT THE LEAST. if jose takes a decision of selling him then i wont argue but most importantly at the right price. moreover he will be used in the costa deal if he is sure, i feel. 32 mil for costa so in the end i feel it would be something like thibaut + 9/10 mil.
-
leaving??? anything concrete?
-
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LEGEND!!!!
-
hope he does well. unfortunately u simply cant have a bad year if u want to make it at CFC.
-
loan or permanent?
-
outscoring teams sounds awesome and produces some good football but is a risky business. just have feeling, big european nights (against barca) coupled with big away games, something's gotta give.
-
if they are so desperate then, 5mil + bertrand
-
result wise, their away form has been good/excellent but performance-wise its been poor. the swansea match, they were lucky to get the 2nd goal (yaya deflected shot) and swansea had themselves to blame for not scoring when they were absolutely dominating city. same goes for the newcastle match. and to be honest newcastle deserves at least a point from the match if not 3. moreover they were lucky to get a draw away to rovers in the FA cup which says a lot. before that it was fulham, where they lost a 2 goal advantage before milner and navas won the match for them. u can argue that they are winning matches that they should have dropped points in and "that is the stuff of champions", but should they be struggling so hard to have any grip in these games? hence i said that city STILL have to prove themselves away from home and with the big away games that they have, i feel they will struggle.
-
no news on josh, kakuta, chalobah???
-
technically, he is still NOT gone. somehow we were able to get matic before anouncing kdb's departure.
-
not bad news.
-
the point then becomes, if not rooney then who? in the next season he will be in the last year of his contract, he is PL proven, despite his injuries he has still been brilliant this season. also the united most probably wont get top 4 which makes it even easier to acquire him.
