  1. hope he does well. unfortunately u simply cant have a bad year if u want to make it at CFC.
  2. outscoring teams sounds awesome and produces some good football but is a risky business. just have feeling, big european nights (against barca) coupled with big away games, something's gotta give.
  3. if they are so desperate then, 5mil + bertrand
  4. result wise, their away form has been good/excellent but performance-wise its been poor. the swansea match, they were lucky to get the 2nd goal (yaya deflected shot) and swansea had themselves to blame for not scoring when they were absolutely dominating city. same goes for the newcastle match. and to be honest newcastle deserves at least a point from the match if not 3. moreover they were lucky to get a draw away to rovers in the FA cup which says a lot. before that it was fulham, where they lost a 2 goal advantage before milner and navas won the match for them. u can argue that they are winning matches that they should have dropped points in and "that is the stuff of champions", but should they be struggling so hard to have any grip in these games? hence i said that city STILL have to prove themselves away from home and with the big away games that they have, i feel they will struggle.
  5. technically, he is still NOT gone. somehow we were able to get matic before anouncing kdb's departure.
  6. the point then becomes, if not rooney then who? in the next season he will be in the last year of his contract, he is PL proven, despite his injuries he has still been brilliant this season. also the united most probably wont get top 4 which makes it even easier to acquire him.
  7. true that. What I had essentially meant was workrate cos that I feel is rambo's USP. Anyways like shan0x put it, a very complete player.
  8. hahahaha... that's one way of putting it.
  9. no rebuttals for the striker situation. but yes, we will have "one of those matches" and probably that will cost us the league.
  10. rambo-esque but with better reading of the game and definitely better range of passing.

  12. city STILL have to prove themselves away from home. after watching their match against newcastle, i am more than sure of that. they have an amazing attacking strength but defensively and especially without toure/kompany, they seem lost. i think the season is still long and an injury here or there can have a massive effect.
  13. hmmm, i dont know... i would rather take city in a semi than barca despite us having a good record against those cheats. also city progressing in the CL will help us in PL.
  14. yup!!! 8 league goals!!! tremondous effect from the 3 of them. i think the 3 of them set a target of 10 goals at the start of the PL campaign.
  15. fingers crossed!!! hope they can do that. anything to see barca suffer.
  16. 5 goals and all by strikers. what the hell!!
  17. CL too? seriously doubt that... but we ll know soon enough against barca.
  18. aguero's back... fucking hell... 2 weeks before the showdown. somehow i feel THAT match at the etihad would be a title decider of sorts.
  19. somebody should tell those guys cos they are actually ready for a coup.
  20. its a year and a half more from 18th and 24th april, not a decade. at 33, lamps was already old and slow. he was not ineffective then and neither is he ineffective now. also u missed the game that happened this season.
  21. are u sure they wont play? redcafe seems pretty upbeat about them... specially considering rooney...
