  1. This has deadline day teansfwr written all over it.
  2. I really really doubt this. JT's involvement this season shows exactly wjere he stands in mou's perspective. Dont see him going anywhere for at least one more season.
  3. we dint have a problem letting DD go so that torres and the new brigade get a shot!!!! this is a far "easier" choice to make compared to the DD situation. as for mata, (ohh the conspiracy theories were awesome), the situation was not anything like this one. so as i see it, people are wiling to make the big changes to suit their own whims and fantasies and their own players, but when it comes to cech vs courtois, they suddenly get weepy and emotional as he is a legend.
  4. in that case, courtois has about 15 years as a WC GK. and he will only get better. costa is a good striker. he is no where near to world class, yes he is better than what we have but it makes no sense what so ever of letting go some1 like courtois for costa. as for money, i think if we simply buy-out his contract, i dont think ATM can do anything about it.
  5. totally agree. why was not bertrand give a real chance inspite of the fact that in his 3 performances for us this season, he was better than any thing cole had given us until that time. plus then the experiment with azpi.
  6. yup. ALWAYS. we have just brought a DM who played a fabulous debut 1 day ago, we have a wonderful CM in rambo who has been bossing the mid for us, yet this!!!
  7. i just hope he plays really well forces his way into the team and into mou's plans. ideally i would like us to buy shaw now, and the next season bring back bertrand. and have these 2 as our LBs.
  8. can we have some variation in the song? something like this The dirty scouse, they bought his flight But Mo Salah, he saw the light He got a tour round Merseyside Suarez bit him and he nearly died He hates scousers He hates scousers He hates scousers and he hates scousers
  9. it was not. in fact we are paying essien about 3mil in compensation for his loss in wages. basically it is a 1 and a half year loan where milan would be paying half his wages and we would be paying the other half.
  10. 20mil for shaw is a GREAT deal. 18 year old with about 15 years of service.
  11. he was bought for just 7mil pounds. he is a decent player, homegrown, will be only 23 next season. u think we wont be able to get 7mil for him??? that too from a rival like pool?
  12. conspiracy theories about JUAN. that has to be the most outrageous thing i have heard. have not seen a more genuine guy in my life.
  13. hahaha... more like the moses of CUPS. he just loves playing in those games.
  14. http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3640273/title/farewell-michael-essien its official. another legend gone. i miss the old guard. DD, flo, joe, ballack, maka, essien, carvalho, paulo. so much has changed. to think next season JT, lamps, ash and petr might or might not be here.
  15. why would u want to change the GC-JT partnership which has been working so perfectly for us? just cant get it!!!
  16. yes, we need to get back to our best again. cant believe we dint let pool do salah's medical.
  17. 29th jan - whu 3rd feb - city 8th feb - newcastle 11th feb - wba 15th - city now starts the business end of the season. cech azpi GC JT cole rambo ? willian oscar hazard BA. dont see the point of starting a 34 year old for 3 matches in 7 days. BA should be able to do the job. mikel/lamps/matic, i have no idea who will start there. should be matic but with jose's gradual integration, i feel it might be mikel (saving lamps for city).
  18. good game. how we dint score from open play is BAFFLING to say the least. so so so many chances. need to be a lot more clinical than this. but credit to shawcross, some great blocks and great defending from him. as far as we are concerned, a very "complete" game except for the score-line. never looked like conceding, always looked like scoring. worked our asses off, off the ball. some great link up play on the ball. matic actually seems to be the last piece of our puzzle. some really good interceptions and tackles and some brilliant runs. his passing seemed a bit off in the first half (nervy probably) but in the 2nd half that pass to oscar was just delicious. somehow i get the feeling that matic-lamps would make for a better pivot than matic-rambo. but lets see what happens. hazard was a beast today. just fabulous.all his nut-megging and dribbling aside, THAT PASS TO ETOO was just fucking INCREDIBLE.phenomenol performance. and a lot of credit for that goes to cole too. brilliant link-up play between them. azpi as a LB should be stopped. GC-DL were barely troubled and dealt with everything that came their way quite well. iva put in a good-shift. a couple of good crosses too (for a change). etoo was good. took a couple of close shots. should have scored at least one. schurrle seemed LOST. he started the season well but simply has not been able to find his footing. man city next round. 3 days before facing barca. would be interesting to see the match!!!
  19. Good line-up. Would have loved it if oscar was rested for the far more important PL games. Can't complain though. Time for sxhurrle to nake a case for himself
