HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED!!! From minute 1 I was against this deal to even happen. Always had my reservation against him and the rumors that we would be breaking all transfer records just always made it a no-no for me. But at that point of time, if u even expressed a doubt over torres, u generally would have got 50 notifocations in the next 5 minutes, 49 of them would be death threats and the other one would be calling u "a fucking plastic". One who has worked hard, has had poor moments (missing a sitter against city) but also has had some good moments (like setting up our first goal moments later in the same city match and also scoring the goal towards the end as well as hitting the post). There is no denying that it has been an improved torres that has played for us this season (like there could have been anything worse than what he was last season). But there is also no denying the fact that for someone who earns 175kpw and is supposed to be our no.1 striker, he simply is not good enough. He needs a new start as much as we need a new start from him. Simply put, he should not be in our squad for the next season.

i think that is fair. GD should be the first criteria in any LEAGUE when trying to break a tie-breaker. why should city's performance in 2 matches be the criteria of deciding their position in the league when they have done better in the other 36 matches!!! hypothetically suppose, chelsea won against city 1-0 at SB, but when playing at etihad we were 2-1 down in the 85th minute (hence leading on away goal), but to look for the goal that would draw the match, we attack but concede a counter goal, hence losing 3-1. so in the head to head criteria chelsea loses the title to city. hence the head to head thing in a league makes no sense to me.

willian should probably have a clause in his contract. everytime he clears the first man in taking corners, he get 5k, everytime his delivery is cleared by the first man, 5k get subtracted. that would probably be the only way to improve our corners. in my opinion it is CRIMINAL to hit the bloody first man when u have players like JT, GC, iva and DL in the box.

agree no doubt about JT, should be getting a contract. AC is a no-no. lamps is a maybe for me. he has had a good season. his performances have actually been good when he has been used wisely. i can see DM options of rambo, matic, mvg, romeu and lamps for the next season. a lot of tough decisions for mou to make this summer regarding 4 (not just 3, cech's future too) LEGENDS.

that depends on how u look at it. was bale worth 100mil? torres 50mil? felliant 28mil (thats just LOL-MAX, ) cavani improves us in the one area that we are lacking as of now. yesterday we could have MAULED city 3-0/4-0 were we clinical or had a good goalscorer up ahead (etoo did a decent job but still). as i see it, if we can comply with FFP and yet buy cavani for whatever ridiculous amount that PSG ask, then why not. in the summer, we dont need to buy any more AMs, anymore DMs, definitely no GKs,and we can very well make do without buying defenders, and if shove comes to push, we can give AC a 1-year extension and delay buying shaw to the next season. we do spend about 60mil in every season, and if those 60mil are spent making us a better team and getting about 25-30 goals a season, then so be it. just my opinion.

we have a "young lad" who is 21 year old, his name is LUKAKU. to add to that, we have a 32 year old etoo, 29 year old torres and a 28 year old BA. cavani is 26 (one year older to every1's favourite costa) and the PERFECT age. he is already WC, in his peak or yet to hit his peak.

mou seems to be phasing him out. would be interesting to see how this 2-3 months pan out for him. but with matic not available for CL, i think he could still have a big part to play.
