Just ask someone after the match. Sure they ll help.

Good line up. Now to fuck those arse-holes.

lukaku is going to be sold? lukaku RIGHTFULLY seeked out a loan, not cos he wanted to be no.1 but cos here, he would have been 1 off the 4 strikers. he would literally not have gotten half the playing time that he has got for everton. things would have changed. he would be our super-sub plus 2nd striker. here is the problem that we WERE facing with torres. http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/15057-9-fernando-torres/?p=861715 i dont think we could even afford to have sold him before this summer. but we can now. hence, nothing to stop us from having costa-lukaku-etoo as our 3 strikers next season.
-
Reading the thread title, moyes was the first person that popped to my head.
-
How is that a problem??? We only need to comply with FFP. And we are doing that with FT (200), etoo (150) and ba (80). Next seadon if our strikers are costa-lukaku-etoo then it would be costa (100-150), etoo (150) and lukaku (30-50). Hence don't see how etoo would be a problem next season if he is not one now.

Well lets agree to disagree. I am just saying this by putting myself in place of a psg fan. I mean, they have barely have had to break a sweat to reach to the qfs. Plus barring the top 3, any team in the world would have been an equal opposition in the qf (which is the case even with this fixture). But yes, its more an aim than objective.I dint. I purposely used top class rather than world class. I mean even GC won't cone under the WC category but he is a top-top player.
-
The players, the talent pool available. And this is not one hulk or an axel witsel we are talking about but a team of top class players. What you consider psg to be is very different from what psg's objectives would be. Most of the english clubs in CL were in transition. Atm fans themselves would be shocked and suprised by their teams perdormance and standing this season. Bvb is a good team who had a great run last season (even then they needed that 2 last minute goal and a horrendous display by RM to get where they got). I mean, they have barely have had to break a sweat to reach to the qfs. Plus barring the top 3, any team in the world would have been an equal opposition in the qf (which is the case even with this fixture). All in all, don't see why psg would not have tried to aim for a semi spot!!!
-
Massively disagree!!!! Psg should have had "reaching the semi" as an objective before the start of the season. Infact why should not they? Just on comparing the squad of all teams all over the world psg has to be in the top 4. The likes of cavani, ibra, lavezzi, verrati, silva, moura. It is a brilliant squad and even last season they almost pulled it off against barca and would definitwly have pulled it off if lavezzi had had a decent day.Infact except for bayern, barca and rm which squad could u say was better than theirs before the start of the season??? To put things into perspective in comparing the squad strength, if our manager right now was fsw (who by the way pulled off another tactical genius ladt night by taking off higuain at 78th minute for a like for like swap when his team needed 2 goals atleast) in place of jose mourinho, and with matic cup tied, psg would have been definite favourites. Right now, one of our biggest strength is jose. His tactical genius and the system that he has introduced in the team. We are far more a team/unit thab psg but I say that only cos I have seen them against teams where they are OTT favourites and don't need to fight/slog it out as much. So in a big match, it might be different. Anyways, i have no doubt that it would 2 very well xontested and played games.
-
hope the players are not as distracted as the fans for the game.
-
what game is this?
-
AZ Benfica Lyon Juventus Basel Valencia Porto Sevilla Even in europa the top 3 have avoided each other.
-
Clean sheet at the bridge is going to be the most essential thing.
-
fucking hell. just dint want psg. bad feeling. but would be one hell of a match. the semifinalists could very well be the same as the one in 2011-12. :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf:
-
its going to be the same draws as in 2011-12 in the semis. :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf:

so now its SCHMELZER, GUNDOGAN, BENDER, BLASZ------SKI, SUBOTIC and LEWANDOWSKI out of the first leg atleast. God i hope we get BVB.
-
etoo on one leg, half a foot, and even 20 years older than current one would be a better player than what torres is now. i would take a tired, nothing left in his tank etoo than torres.
-
thanks guys.

What time is the draw?

Does anyone think that rvp's injury would be a blessing in disguise for chelsea. Despite scoring a hattrick, don't think he was anything special last night. Plus after watching united against pool last weekend, I had almost given up on them being remotely possibke to take points off city next mid week. But hopefully with rvp's injury, moyes is forced to play mata in the center rather than hopelessly conceding a wing to ths opposition. Plus united lacked creativity thruout the game, this migjt just be the best thing. Also hope moyes does not play adnan, the kid was owned all night long by flanagan. Think what kolarov would do.
-
I am in.
-
Heheheheb ehe.... oh avb...
-
Please don't bother dude. Please. I beg of you. These are the same people who think torres have had a wonderful season and should be made the club ambassador. Just let it go.
-
Would mind these at all.
