Honestly speaking, lukaku can come out tomorrow and say "I am coo-coo for cocoa puffs" and it simply would not matter if he can perform well on the pitch. And so far he has done better than our existing 3. In 1577 minutes of league action, he has scored 10 goals. Our strikers have scored 14 goals combined (etoo-7, torres-4 and ba-3) (3 out of those 14 were in the last match though) in 2660 minutes of combined action (etoo-1202, torres-1124, ba-334). Lukaku scores a goal every 157.7minutes while our stikers score a goal every 190 minutes (which was an EMBARASSING 233.3 minutes before the last match). So if he can continue to score goals on the pitch, perform and continue his development. I won't give any attention to what he says.

OWNED!!!!

THIS.I don't understand what is wrong in being ambitious. If a player wants to play and succeed how is that a bad thing.
-
People keep saying that this is a must-win. Except for city away, which game was it that was not considered as must win?
-
yup. How many demons would that one goa,l against his former club in the first match for his new club, would he have put to rest. His whole chelsea career might have been different.
-
Does anyone remember the chance that torres had against pool in his first match when he was literally gifted the ball to by the pool defender. What if he had scored in that chance???!!!!
-
Oh seriously! !! Then lets go!!! Tell me what moments did RM have? They got an early break. Was lucky not give away ATLEAST one penalty. Barwly threatened courtois the whole match except for the goals. Which match did u see??? Lets discuss RM properly. Maria runs around like a headleaa chicken. Often drifting to the left wing cos of which CR generally has to get central. Bale has his moments on the other wing with carvajal continoualy bomabtding up. Thus leaving RM open to counters. Hencr , their only actual creative player (modric) gets pushed deeper. Is this the same DECLINING barca against whom RM could not get a decent chance before jese scored??? What's more, I think even city performed better even though the scoreline was the same. (And since this ckearly seems get you off LOL LOL LOL) I too don't want to be rude, but well, get lost
-
Oh god!!! Please first of all do tell me how this RM, team is more complete than jose's. There is absolutely nothing going thru center. I mean calling jose's team a one dimensional counter attacking team while hopelessly over-rating the current real. That calls for a PLEASE!!!!!!!! I mean I have seen luiz give way better performanxes in the center of the field and still be said that "he was like a headless chicken". The only modicum of creativity comes from modric. But he sometimes has to play too far deep to cover for alonso's legs. Maria cintinously tends to drift on the left wing making CR go central and leaving RM too open on counters. Simply speaking, if barca had not screwed up in their last 2 away games and were still top of the liga, no one woukd have been making this big a fuss about RM.And well if psg finds it difficult breaking pub level teams then let's take every isolated incident like the match where RM could not score against a 2nd or a 3rd division team. Also is this the same RM that got a ass-whoping by Atm a couple of weeks ago in liga? Are you sure you are talking about the psg that gave barca a run for their money and was barely knocked out on away-goals.
-
And you think real don't rely on CR/BALE??? Damn it they are actually so void of a play that even to beat any lowly team at home they normally need a moment of magic. This RM team seems bereft of ideas. Just basic wingplays. And how is this real team better than the one under mou in his second year. 100 points With the record number of goals!!!!!!!!!!!! One poor season and everyone forgets everything, it seems. PSG are actually the team I'm most worried about at the minute. Think we'd hold our own with Bayern like we did in the Super Cup, same goes for Barca aswell. Jose knows Real Madrid inside out as Carlo wouldn't know alot of our players now (i.e Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Eto'o etc) but PSG are different. Two world class front men up top. Difficult to 'Park the Bus' with quality they have upfront compared to anyother team (just talking about strikers).
-
I for one would rather face RM than psg. While I admit RM is winning. I just have my doubts about them in big games. They were lucky against juve, they lost to atm at home, drew at the calderon while losing at camp nou.

Candidate for Shirt #10 next season?

Don't think 8 can be retired. But I have no doubt about 26 though. Infact that is what I find suprising. I would rather want EH making 17 a number to be feared rather than taking a no.10. Make 17 your legacy. -
On the bench today.
-
hmm. I don't know. What I have seen off real is individual brilliance match after match after match. Whenever I see them, I don't seea play. I think they might have a hard time breaking a solid and an organized defence. Arbeloa/carvajal WILL be exploited massively. Ramos-pepe partnership might have kept clean sheets but again, they seem a moment away from either conceding or getting sent off (especially ramos). I just feel that to win CL, RM will have to win against atleast 2 or more of Bayern, barca, ATM and psg. Just simply think ththeir defence might have another of those matches that they had against bvb in the first leg last year. To conclude, I would not bet on them.

Good. No burn out. And more importantly no travelling
-
Playing 4-3-3 against arsenal away and whu away (when we were leaking some goals) is completely different from villa away. Plus we dint have matic back then. No reason why we should play 4-3-3.

Ooohhhh!!!! Alex just got burnt!!!

Oscar. He is our main no.10 abd deserves it though I don't understand the big fuss about shirt nos. -
Who would you sign to lead the line at Chelsea?
didierforever replied to Melanicus's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Pep definitely does not like mandzukic. He tried a galse 9 at the start of the season with muller/gotze but it was not successful. Hence he played mandzukic. But with the inclusion of lewandowski, his playing time definitely gets halved. I for one won't be suprised at all if he decides to leave. -
sorry?
-
Cl contenders have to be bayern n psg.
-
nope. Pl rule. Players can't play against parent club.

Skipper!!! How dare u call an idiot a idiot. I want a ban!!! -
we were linked with shaw in a bertrand swap. 2 days later bertrand goes out on loan. mou says its rooney or bust, at the end, we not only buy etoo but also willian for 30-32mil. media does what is does best. churn out stories about situations which SEEM to be most obvious. so, i dont think we should take the "linked with" thing seriously. atleast not unless sky/bbc reports it. as of this moment, costa "seems" to be the most obvious choice for us. hence the stories will come out thick and fast. but what actually happens is very different. u know, i know that. dude, their was nothing said today that i or you did not say the other day when we literally had the same argument. hence i dont have a problem in agreeing to disagree.
