What?????? LOL!!!! he had an awesome last season in la liga after which he was one of the most sought out strikers and fetched 50odd mil to go to monaco where he continued his goos form but all this should be neglected cos well I don't know how all of it can be neglected.
-
I would love to see how many chances he had plus his conversion rate cos believe me ANY strikwr (even our own nando) would score 20 ATLEAST if he had CR and bale on the wings, maria and modric in the mid plus a league like la liga. Heck, nando did score 22 last season too and assisted a good amount too. The point still remains the same, benzema is wasteful, he would be MEGA costly and simply not someone who I would want leading chelsea's lines.
-
He is officially 28. Why would rumors say he is just one year older than that. Plus he just turned 28. Torres was in a rut long before we bought him. In the season that we bought him, he had scored 9 goal in 26 appearances. Falcao has scoeed 11 in 19. Falcao except for the injury would have been looked upon as much as ant other striker and to compare him to torres is just lol
-
The point is RM have just one striker. Considering they sold higuain for what 35mil£ , so benzema would atleast be that amount if not close to 40+. Simply don't think he is worth that. I would rather we take a chance with falcao or mandzukic than this guy.
-
benzema is having a great season??? Dude He was DROPPED for the first el-classico for BALE up top as a striker, who by the way had just come back from injury plus with no pre-season. That was the extent at how poor benzema was in the first couple of months. He did comeback strong but still doea not change the fact about him. I mean I was watching sevilla vs real, and he had 5 good chances in the first 10minutes. Its been his trend all season.

If pool win the league then I would be very disappointed. Not cos of their annoying fans or the media wankfest, but simply cos it would mean that city dropped atleast 4 points but we could not take advantage.

have u seen him this season. Wasteful. Hopelessly so. Does make good runs but his finishing is simply not what we want. Specially in a system that is hardly pro-striker, we need someone who can bury the chances they get.
-
I won't mind this guy. But if we get benzema, I will KILL myself. Actually kill myself.

Beauty from danny.

So bertrand's a goner!!!

Bye bye birdie.

he went on loan cos he would have been 1 of the strikers possible. Get your FACTS right. He would not have been able to get enough playing time. Hence he was loaned out. Also this is a BLOODY WORLD CUP YEAR. Understand??? People want to be a part of the greatest event in the world. And u can hardly blame them. Hence they went in search of playing time. Lukaku was willing to accept the 2nd striker role at the start of the season. It was as soon as etoo came in and it was evidebt that he would get very less playing time with 4 strikers for a 1 striker system, that's when he went out to loan.
-
And why won't he take the 2nd striker role??? Why do people just wanna jump the gun on everything!!!

Arsenal vs city - win, win, win situation. Arsenal win is a win situation for the most obvious reason. Draw is a good situation too as both arsenal and city drop points and if everton win they can put arsenal under real pressure for top 4 Arsenal loss is another win situation as they would lose their grip on tge 4th spot specially with them having to go to goodison.
-
The point was the pressure those ganes in hand vs the points in the bag would create on them. That villa game took all the pressure off them. While it might not be the only result but it will be a mega important result considering the time of that. if city had lost the PL on the last day vs qpr, you would not have to say that the qpr game itself was a "PIVOTAL" game in deciding the PL. while the villa game is not as massive as that one, it still would have a major impact on the coming weeks. giving city and pool the confidence while taking away the pressure.

He already has. We are in the quarterfinals of CL and compared to the 75 points in 38 games last season we have 69 in 31 games. We were in a close 3rd/4th fight where as we are in a title race now. So mourinho has already done better.

ofcourse he will be our 2nd striker. Jose wants to make chelsea a top european team and for that we will sign a world class striker. But that still does not mean lukaku who has more goals than any of our current crop of strikers will be sold.
-
Everton for top 4.
-
They are not a "tad better". I mean they are 3 points off with 2 games in hand while losing twice to us.But the point was the pressure those ganes in hand vs the points in the bag would create on them. That villa game took all the pressure off them. While it might not be the only result but it will be a mega important result considering the time of that.

Lol.

Scored again. Does not matter. Sell him.
-
has to be. Very pivotal. It took city 2 results away from us, not just one.

There is definite improvement in one or two of his flaws. His first and his play back to the goal. But like I said before, his headers are poor and his header winning ability from gks is horrendous. Anyways, I think u r missing my main point. Suppose we get an offer of 30mil for lukaku, and we sell him, but the market at this moment even for a second striker is so expensive. And who would that be? Another BA-ish signing of a player who has reached his peak and has no ceiling. Lukaku on the other hand does have that potential and ceiling. With him it would be worth while to take a risk of making him our 2nd striker for a couoke of seasons and see how his development woukd be. Cos even after 2 years, lukaku's price would barely go down and there is a chance that he might simply go on to be tge next big thing. Anyway lets agree to disagree
