Damn these guys need an overhaul. Evra, vidic, rio, giggs all gone. Need a left back or 2. Need a center back. Need a DM as carrick has been abysmal. Need a CM to play alongside carrick as fellain, anderson and cleverly are shit. Need at least 1/2 wingers. Plus Need to revamp their tactics as mata on the wings is a joke. They will take some years to challenge for the titke even if u give moyes the benefit of doubt and expect hin to have a decent season next year. Atleast a season where we don't have to see cleverly on the wing against city. That was just LOL.

1 in 3/4 or 1 in 5 IS a big difference. This is PL. specially in a system where strikers don't get many chances and should be taking ones that they get.Take yesterday for instance. Benzena shod have had a hat-trick in the first 10 minutes. He missed let sevilla be in the match and it costed RM their title probably. Pl is a leagur full of sevillas who are adept enough to punish teams who don't take their chances. Hence benzema changes nothing from which we already have. He might get better but he might not. The point is with ushaving a chamce to Iimprove in that particular area, why would we again take a striker who can't takr his chamces. Specially when there are better options. How does that improve us. Its easier to learn to dribble or improve hold up play than to improve finishing. I would rather buy a striker that has goos finishing and can adept to our play than what benzema gives. Again u go back to the number od assists!!!! When you have cr and bale alongside you that number WILL be great. Their movement, dribbling, shots, pace everythin is better than hazard/willian and I don't even include finishing here. Some of the "assists" that benzema givea has more of CR/bale magic than his "superlative" passing. And hia dribbling is defo not better than coata. I would say costa' s weord way of dribbling is one of his strengths. Also its suprising that falcao, mandzukic is not included in your better than benzema list. Specially mandzukic. Hold up play, passing, counter attacking awarenesa, finishing, workrate. Except dor dribbling I won't give benzema an edge over mandzukic in anything. Specially since mandzukic has played in a system which we are looking to emulate. The high pressing, high tempo, letgal at counter attacking team of bayern of last season.

Never said they were not good. Infact they are still one of the best teams in the world. The discussion was very different. It was more of how good are they tactically. I just think the 31 match unbeaten run made them seem better than they were. They were always going to struggle against barca. That run somehow made them the favourites. Despite having bale, isco, illaramendi, I don't think they are better than jose's RM which was tactically more astute. Their subs are decent but when those subs have to replace not just bale/cr but also an injured maria/modric/alonso is when they struggle. Their right backs are pior defensively and marcelo himself is not that greay deapite being one of the best attacking left back. My problem was that RM was made to sound like this flawless machine that would crush everythin in it's path. Simply dint think so.

He misses chances. He doea not fit our system like etoo, I would it would be more like torres. Suarez and CR can havr a sub 10%, conversion rate and yet score 20 goals a season. They create so many chamces. Benzema does not. And he misses a buck load of chances. Not at suprised with the stats you gave. If u had told me to take a guess for benzema, I would have said 1 in 5 chances, while for costa I would have said 1 in 3/4. When said in percentages 6% barely seems anything but think about it in chances and there is a big difference.

Not really. Specially if pochetino stays. Bertrand is good defensively but offers very little up ahead. Soton like their fullbacks getting forward and helping. Dont think he fits the bill for them

If he goes to city/united then we lose a long term quality left back cos of a year or2 of sagna. Simply not worth it. I don't need to comeback sooner or later. It would change nothing. RM is there for the taking defensively. FACT. They HAVE struggled so far against all "big " teams and you can include bilbao and sevilla in it (4th and 5th placed). There attack lacks creativity especially against good teams and mids who won't offer that extra second or that extra yard for RMs obvious talismans to have a moment of magic. Their defence once showed that it is their for the taking. Block the wings and they seem paralysed. I would love to see how many chances he had plus his conversion rate cos believe me ANY strikwr (even our own nando) would score 20 ATLEAST if he had CR and bale on the wings, maria and modric in the mid plus a league like la liga. Heck, nando did score 22 last season too and assisted a good amount too. The point still remains the same, benzema is wasteful, he would be MEGA costly and simply not someone who I would want leading chelsea's lines.

He is officially 28. Why would rumors say he is just one year older than that. Plus he just turned 28. Torres was in a rut long before we bought him. In the season that we bought him, he had scored 9 goal in 26 appearances. Falcao has scoeed 11 in 19. Falcao except for the injury would have been looked upon as much as ant other striker and to compare him to torres is just lol

The point is RM have just one striker. Considering they sold higuain for what 35mil£ , so benzema would atleast be that amount if not close to 40+. Simply don't think he is worth that. I would rather we take a chance with falcao or mandzukic than this guy.

benzema is having a great season??? Dude He was DROPPED for the first el-classico for BALE up top as a striker, who by the way had just come back from injury plus with no pre-season. That was the extent at how poor benzema was in the first couple of months. He did comeback strong but still doea not change the fact about him. I mean I was watching sevilla vs real, and he had 5 good chances in the first 10minutes. Its been his trend all season.

If pool win the league then I would be very disappointed. Not cos of their annoying fans or the media wankfest, but simply cos it would mean that city dropped atleast 4 points but we could not take advantage.

have u seen him this season. Wasteful. Hopelessly so. Does make good runs but his finishing is simply not what we want. Specially in a system that is hardly pro-striker, we need someone who can bury the chances they get.

I won't mind this guy. But if we get benzema, I will KILL myself. Actually kill myself.
