it is going to be a long window. We are already in a GREAT situation by selling off luiz for 50mil £.I mean this can be the total money we get out of our sales Luiz - 50mil £ Torres - 10mil £ Ba -5 mil £ Mikel - 7mil £ Bertand - 5mil £ Romeu -2mil £ Kakuta -2mil £ Marin - 5mil £ A total of 86 mil £ at least. And this would be minimum that we will get. We are buying Costa - 32mil £ fabregas - 30mil £ Luis- 20mil £ That is an overall of 82 mil. We are still saving some money. If jose decides that lukaku is not ready to be our 2nd striker and we are willing to pay 15-20mil £ for mandzukic, I don't see a problem with it. Lukaku can go on loan to ATM for a year or 2, come back with the experience of leading a CL playing team plus a team that will be in top 3/4 in liga. I don't see the problem with that.

who the hell is selling him!!!! why do people believe everything they read!!! NOTHING on the striker situation will be decided before the WC. specially nothing concerning lukaku will be decided before WC. he will be judged on merit without a doubt.
-
i had heard that they wanted rakitic to sign a contract extension LOWERING his BO to 25mil or something, just so that they would get that amount. but still, with a WC where a midfield trio of rakitic, kovacic and modric can probably produce some upsets plus interest already shown by RM, 12mil or 16mil is a poor deal for sevilla.
-
I think salah started ALL of our last 6 or 7 PL games. Dint he?? Cardiff, norwich, pool, sunderland, swansea, stoke. He definitely is someone who will be a great 2nd right winger whenever willian is injured/rested or willian is shifted to replace oscar as a CAM. So I expect him to get plenty of oppurtunity thru the course of the season.
-
This is insane!!!! Don't think it CAN be true!!! I mean just a couple of days ago he was off to RM. He had a BO of 30mil £. And today this. It's just insane. Sevilla will have to have the worst bunch of negotiators ever to let rakitoc go for anything less than 25mil £.

Mourinho said: You cant imagine how difficult it was. I think only Frank knows that, but at the same time I can feel some happiness about the process because, for sure, he comes back to Chelsea. For sure. Everybody wants it. Mr Abramovich the No 1, the most important person wants Frank to be back very much, I want him to be back and the staff want him back, so he comes back for sure. He can come back the way he wants. Mr Abramovich has left the door completely open for him on the understanding Frank can do anything he wants at this club. To repeat Mr Abramovichs words, He can come back the way he wants. He can be a coach, he can start at the academy, he can start being my assistant at the same time because he is doing his coaching badges, or he can start in a different role. Its not the end of Frank Lampards career in Chelsea. Its just a little break. He will be back, hopefully for many, many years, because hes one of the most important players in the history of Chelsea.

yes, we totally believe in you torres. we totally belive that u will screw us for one more season and even earn MILLIONS to screw us over!!! keep your head up and body lying on the ground as always!!!
-
Who would you sign to lead the line at Chelsea?

why would we keep BA JUSTso EH can have a best friend to play with!!! we are a pro football club and hazard is a pro footballer and a grown up!!! also, even if we loan lukaku to a team like ATM, it would be a good deal. he will definitely get a lot of playing time, will get CL experience, lead a team there-thereabouts in the title race. -
yup. a fluid 4-1-4-1 in attack and a compact 4-3-3 in defence would seem the most likeliest of options.
-
talk about over-reacting!!! mikel is going, so rambo is the new scapegoat for everything!!! never mind that oscar was as shit as rambo, but the sole reason for our "apparent" failure all lies on rambo!!! JUST barca buying rakitic for 16mil pounds... what a bloody bargain. would have loved to see that guy here instead of him
-
u want the shitiest player ever to get another 6 months at the club just so u can see "what happens". if thats so then i dont care if i am over-reacting. how do expect anything to change with cesc in the team. does torres magically regain his speed? does he start making runs behind the defence? does he magically start finishing rather than lobbing the ball in the zZ-row like he currently did with spain. what are u curious about exactly?
-
DAFUQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 16 mil pounds!!!!!!!! why the fuck do we need cesc!!!!! i thought he had a BO of 30mil. what a bargain!!!!!
-
Hahahahahhahahahaha... oh dear!!!!! What black magic and voodoo that blondie has done over everyone, I ll simply never understand... 3 and a half years of pathetic, mind numbing shitty football while playing with the likes of mata, hazard, oscar, willian, kalou, malouda, anelka, DD, lamps, etc etc etc... now he should get another half season to see how it goes with cesc. Like I said, I will NEVER understand why torres got this much support and blind love from fans when he is the person who probably least deserved it cos he put in the least effort.

Learn to read. Tell me ONE SINGLE TIME if I have said that this is a RoMAN SIGNING. I dare you. EVEN once. If u can't then stop spreading bullshit about other posters and mind your own fucking business. As for not a JOSE type player. Most people have the same doubts. And that's the reason people are already talking about us switching to 4-3-3 cos fiberglass does not exactly fit the bill. But who am I talking to. U would probably read something else of what I wrote and theb accuse me of saying that the board forcing jose's hand.

hahahahahhahahahhaha

he gave a PC before the chelsea-barca semi in 2012. thats where he said it,

every player we buy supposedly is earning 10mil a year. torres, hazard, terry and now fabregas. even costa is rumored at about 9mil a year. makes me wonder how our wage bill keeps reducing. infact http://metro.co.uk/2014/04/17/chelsea-set-to-offer-diego-costa-giant-250000-a-week-salary-at-stamford-bridge-4701974/

nope. i was never on board with the transfer. never made any sense to me what so ever. people were in love with the idea of getting one of the most popular players in the world (which somehow he still is!!! i still remember the "he will score next game" or "he will play better next game" phase, which turned into the "give him a pre-season to play with the team". after he was started ahead of DD by AVB at the start of the 2011-12 season, i was ridiculed and abused was questioning that by many posters here. i dont know how people saw him as a good fit but i think they were simply blinded by torres-love. torres was PL proven but he was already on the decline. he was poor for a couple of seasons. a 50mil fee for a mentally week and pussy like torres was always going to be a massive detterent. more than anything, it seemed like the weight of the transfer fee itself was a taking him down. costa is a completely different player to torres. he is a fighter. his contribution to the team is way more than just scoring goals. u simply cant have a no-balls like torres leading your line when u r trying to fight for PL and CL. cos over the course of 38 matches, the striker will have a barren run, in which torres' contribution is zip. as for costa having just 2 prolific seasons, i think it does not matter. not every player has to be a lukaku or a rooney who is tipped to be the "next best thing" since 16-17. i dint see costa before the last 2 seasons. but after watching him for 2 seasons, i and anyone who has done that can vouch for the fact that he is a brilliant player, someone who will complete us.
-
WHAT?????????????????????????????????? HOW???????????????????????????? how is fabregas going to play RW for us? fabregas will be our second pivot player and a direct competition to rambo. even if we go 4-3-3, we will play hazard-willian on the wings with salah-schurrle as the back ups, while matic, rambo, cesc, mvg, oscar as the CM options. how does it even make sense to say that willian will be affected if cesc joins!!!!!
-
the first comment on the page itself clearly says that. sheva was a "flop". admitted. i can understand people being scared thinking about him. but comparision with torres is just not fair. torres was NEVER a chelsea player. it simply was not in his DNA. he is a pussy. he is not the player who would fight it out for the club. the torres transfer was a fiasco, which simply was wrong for all the parties involved. still remember we started the match against liverpool playing with torres-DD-anelka. how do u expect that to work out. no balance. no gameplan actually. add to that, his first match itself was against pool. the transfer simply was WRONG from each and every perspective. costa on the other hand, seems a good fit. it is not a panic buy like torres was or a ROMAN buy which sheva was. it is a buy which JOSE and the board have had a year to think about and agree on. the dynamics are different, the situation is different.
-
all you have to do is read thru the last 3/4 pages... costa is already a flop cos torres and sheva were a flop..
-
you have no idea of what is still to happen. can u even imagine the reaction when costa starts his first match and does not score a goal??!!!! gonna be epic!!!!
-
one down (costa), 2 more to go (CM and LB). plus one of the most important things to do this transfer window is to get rid of torres!!! come on JOSE!!!
-
precisely. they were predominantly counter attacking. they killed games, something which we were not able to do. with a striker we might end up scoring 3/4 but it wont be due to not being solid defensively. http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/15926-tiago/?p=913518 yes, i rate rakitic very highly but like for fabregas, i dont think he is a JOSE player. believe me its not ONLY cos i hate him personally. i still think that getting fabregas cos he will make us more attacking and adventorous is a slightly wrong opinion. for eg - when etoo was playing well, we dint have to look at rambo's performances and say, he is not creating enough. we had a major striker problem last season, something which i expect to change this season. AMs to get more space to run into, better finishing, taking off half chances, infact the striker himself being a major part of the play which torres and ba simply never were. i am not saying that we dont need a better CM than rambo, we definitely do, but a pogba/vidal/koke is a better option even though they might not be as good as cesc as an attacking player.
