One of the posters on here seems to be a tape recorder. "He asked for a transfer request" "he ran away from a challenge". Yet when asked a sinple question of why is he still here? Why our manager who supposedly hates lukaku's guts so much that he wants to sell him despite us not having a striker that is half as good as lukaku, has notsold him? All we get is the normall repetitive and even a little senile tape recording again. Just goes on to show how much people really know about what actually happena at the ckub.

this squad does not even come close to the sheer class, fight, passion and team spirit to the team we had from 2008-10. that was a proper team, a team that had a system to play in, had found their foot and were in the best moments of their careers. malouda, DD, lamps, essien, JT, cole, carvalho, cech and the extreme class of ballack. like someone said, this squad has atleast 3 FIRST team players who are yet to play a single match for chelsea (luis, costa, cesc).right now we rely on hazard's moment of magic rather than a team play to score goals. meanwhile that team was adept in counters, breaking down defences and all round play. for me the 2008-10 squad was the best ever. a very poor decision from our board to let go off ballack and not get a perfect replacement for him.

players like john o shea are vitally important for any club. u cant have 25 world class players. a squad will have players who are kept to fill in the spaces and nothing more. no one is saying that bertand is the next cole, but to have a CL and an EL at the age of 24 can hardly constitute an average career (and thats what he said). most players would dream to have THAT average career. also how is RB over-rated? none of us are saying that he should be our 1st choice LB and hardly anyone says that he should play ahead of azpi even.

we could have bought any defender with the mata+kdb money. Zouma was a thought out buy imo. I think he is already there in jose's plans.

Atm can't afford to have costa and mandzukic in the squad financually. So not at all worried that he will be a cfc player soon.

I wanted him to succeed at chelsea and when cole started match after match at the start of the last season, it was frustrating for him and the fans. But the fact that teams like pool and spurs are after him tells us that he is a very decent player and he is "good enough", a player who deserves more than 5 games a season or to be the 4th choice full back. Its not fair to the player. His apparent role in the squad can easily be covered by whoever will be our 7th and 8th defender.

when we had cole (who was horrendous at the start of the last season), but we "might" need him when we buy one of the best LBs in the world right now (luis). pva/ake can cover for that!!!

deadwood - people or things that are no longer useful or productive. we already have rambo, matic, cesc, mvg as our options. then their is mikel, chalobah, baker, rlc on their way up!!! so how is romeu (who is in the last year of his contract) useful to us!!! sell him off and be done with him!!!

he is a professional footballer who seems to love the game!!! why should he spend the best years of his life sitting with the reserves (not even the bench) knowing he will be the 3rd choice LB and the 4th choice full back in the squad!!!
