  1. and then people ask me why i am always so dismissive of the great opinions of the great members of this forum!!!
  2. probably. just hope he is fine. the way azpi and cesc ran towards the snail paced medics was the biggest worry for me.
  3. I really doubt metallic head gear would be permitted
  4. Looks very serious. Any idea what the problem is. Jose was indicating something about mouth or lips when telling our bench what thw problem was?
  5. Cesc needs to get into the game. Has not been involved at all
  6. Injury prone would me he happens to injure the same area over and over. ISEAH100's words. tackles and bad tackles are part and parcel of the game. you cant rule them out and simply neglect the injuries caused by them. i mean hazard is subject to a horrible tackle on a weekly basis. same goes with CR, messi, neymar, robben etc etc and almost all good/great players. that does not mean they get injured every time they play. and yes, i would say if someone gets injured over and over and over again cos of this, then he is injury prone. football is a contact sport, its a physical sport and there will be bad tackles flying about each time a player takes a field. i really did not know that injury prone on TC was simply for "self injuries". i took the words "injury-prone" in the most literal way possible.
  7. hahhaa.. found another one here. i just googled injury prone meaning and got the obvious and hence the link. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=injury+prone i just dont understand that argument. if a person has calf/shin injury calf muscle strain thigh muscle strain ankle/foot injury MCL ligament injury groin injury knee injury back injury so people should not classify him as "injury-prone"? just cos its in the different part of his body and none of it is recurring?? i know mvg is not this bad but so far, he has got injured very frequently. you can label it as "unlucky", but i seriously doubt its bullshit or ignorant if someone calls him injury prone.
  8. very strong team!!! shows intent!! we are here to win the game!!
  9. oh really? so a player who continously gets injured without playing any sufficient gametime in different areas of his body would not be classified as injury prone? great!! so from now on we ll start calling that plyer an MVG!! injury prone = often sustaining injuries http://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/injury-prone dont think it has ANYTHING at all related to which part of the body or the same part!!! but like you said, everyone is entitled to their wrong opinions.
  10. precisely, ADM has been injured, falcao will go on a good run where he starts scoring week in and week out. Their defence might ger stronger as well as have some semblance of stability. They should not be counted out so easily.
  11. Injury prone - simply definition, a player who gets injuredquite frequently. Mvg has been available to play for a whole of what? 10 matches in the last 2 years? He is supposed to be a DM/Cm and susupposed to play I'm the most physical league in the world, and yet he gets injured every second match he plays or every time he comes in physical contact. Yea, it is a bullahit opinion to say that he ia injury prone and fragile. .
  12. united CAN easily be title contenders. they have been at half their strength and yet only 8 points behind us after a dreadful start to the season. now we will be playing psg and rms/barcas/bayerns of the world while united will be concentrating on their next PL match, obviously that will make a lot of difference.
  13. my problem is that i would like us to stop buying such players who have no future with us and rather give chances to the youth. secondly, the fuck is your problem? if you have a problem with what i said, then argue about it rather than abusing!!
  14. Hahhahahahah... lets see how much time of his 1 and a half year he has been fit enough to play.Plays 20 odd minutes in a league cup match and out for reat of the season. Plays a couple of match for milan, out for a month. Plays anothee couple of matches, out injured in training. If that's not injury prone, what is? He would be a backup of he ever made it here. And I don't want a situation of us not having any depth on the bench cos someone dared touch mvg in training and he broke another part of his fragile body!!
  15. It all comes down to know how and experience. City have been poor in europe and not just this season. Except for the roma match, they were a shambles. Barca have not been great but against a team like city and a manager like pelegrinin who wants to fight fire with fire, I just can't see city outscoring them.
  16. And then in 90+5 minutes with the last kick of the ball, he will leave costa as free as he left messi to score the winner and let us go through.
  17. another injury!!! and then people said he is not injury prone. 8mil, just hope we can sell him for half of that next summer!!!
  18. possibly the worst draw we could have got!!! but we know them, have played against them and most importantly won against them. on the other hand, psg will be looking for a bit of revenge. hard draw. come on chelsea!!!
  19. ake and zouma and remy are a must. salah and schurrle deserve to be played too.
  20. cech azpi zouma JT luis ake matic salah cesc schurrle remy
  21. actually fatigue (specially mental fatigue), forces a person into poor decision making, be it in life or sports. for eg - i remember GC going into a tackle at newcastle near about the half line and missing the slide tackle against newcastle. i honestly dont remember GC ever doing that. if anything, he leaves tackling an opponent to the last minute and keeps backing off. he actually seems tired and should be properly rested. i really hope we dont see him partnering zouma against derby.
  22. i dont think there should be quotes for rested. he should actually be RESTED. has played 90 minutes in every match for us except for the maribor double header. has played 90 minutes for england in all their matches. the guy actually needs a rest.
