this. this is the saddest part. its like our own "fans" want us to fail so that they can vent out their anger. i admit i was a little suprised by the team selection but it worked like a charm. more importantly we looked so solid and drilled. also, it means that oscar will play games like spurs, whu and soton which are way more suited for him than the physical , rugby-ish football at stoke. but nothing on here. no praise.

hahhaha... LOL

Now because mikel is actually playing well, it seems his haters are at a loss of argument, so the latest argument os that mikel alone is stopping pur youth from developing. There was TOPTB who used to say that the sole reason mikel was here was cos he had to get an english citizenship or something. Arguments just get weirder and weirder. Mikel is a very good squad player. And he is showing why? Tactically he gives us something very different from rambo and cesc. Moreover he is an experienced player who has the know how of the highest stage can not be and will not be replaced by a chalobah (who can't get a minute at burnley) or ake. Even if he leaves we will get a proper replacement like khedira or either of mvg/romeu to replace him.

courtois iva GC JT azpi matic cesc schurrle oscar hazard remy. rest costa for spurs and soton.
-
chirstmas, top of the table, solid performance. CLL gave us the perfect start. both matic and mikel were very good today. hardly let anything go thru to our back 4. hazard was a hazard. willian's decision making was the reason we dint win this 4-0. costa should have had 2 goals or at the least 1 but had a wondeful overall game.
-
he was pretty decent today. broke the play perfectly, our back 4 was hardly troubled which goes on to show how good both our DMs were. matic was exceptional and mikel had a good game.
-
fuck!!!
-
thank god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! game, set and match. by the way, did andy townsend really say that it was a "clever" finish?
-
is oscar injured? can we please take willian out for either of schurrle or oscar!!! we are playing with fire here.
-
need a second.
-
courtois' kicking has been horrible today.
-
a sore foot and a yellow card, hazard should just rip into bardsley!!
-
late. studs up. and most of the time people say "there was no intent", this one was all intent.
-
what tackle did you watch?
-
how the fuck is that not a sending off??? fucking horrible... and what this has done is, its fired up the crowd!!
-
heard rumors about juve wanting him.
-
dint expect this. gives us more surety at the back but lets see cesc as no.10 from the start today!!
-
this. thank you

how does the best player in one match have any relation to the position of mikel in the squad. do you even have the slightest idea how iditic that sounds!!! let me explain this in another way. MIKEL WAS OUR BEST PLAYER ON THAT DAY. THAT ONE DAY. AGAINST NEWCASTLE. JOSE DID NOT SAY THAT HE IS OUR BEST PLAYER IN THE SEASON. JUST THAT PARTICULAR MATCH!!! anyone who actually saw the match and is objective about mikel and not prejudiced would say the same thing about mikel. against watford , if jose plays boga and he scores a brace and jose says that boga was our best player on the pitch, that means he should play boga in every match???
-
"The first time he played was Newcastle and he was our best player" so according to you, if mikel was our best player against newcastle it should mean that he should start every game? WTF!!! u know, a player can be better than others on a particular day independent of how good he is on the other days. (this has actually got to be the LOLLEST thing i have heard on this forum) i think you dint even read what jose said. and serious LOL at trying to spin this on me!!! but somehow you think that only the best player can be the best performer in every match!!! hmmm, interesting!!!
-
huh??? after newcastle we have played hull, derby and sporting. ALL of which he has started!!! so actually him being the "best player" has been rewarded by jose.
-
you seem surprised by media's lack of appreciation for us. why? according to them, we cant do anything right and we are the "evil ones".
-
why? why tempt fate?
-
i can imagine a couple of "JOSEOUT"s already!!!

manu lost 6-1 to city and they had a 10 goal gap at the end of the season. make that defeat as a 2-1 defeat and the goal difference at the start of the last day would become -2 instead of -10. united could easily have won 3-0 at sunderland on the last day. and now lets talk about the 6-1 defeat, they were a man down, 2 goals down, and yet they tried to get those 2 goals. 90th minute, 91st minute and 93rd minute were when they conceded the goals. if they have anything to blame for the loss, its their stupid approach of attack.
