  1. most ridiculous comment I have ever seen on TalkChelsea, nothing even remotely close
  2. Well done to Boateng. If only UEFA had the bollocks to give out proper punishments for racist behaviour
  3. The inbreds will be coming out of the drains and sewers and descending on Stamford Bridge looking for a fight no doubt. This is a must win game but we do need to keep an eye on the Southampton FA Cup game because they have done well against the bigger teams at home this season too. Turnbull Azpi Cahill Ivan Cole Mikel Lampard Moses Oscar Mata Torres vs Southampton Turnbull Ivan Cahill Luiz Bertrand Ramires Mikel Moses Hazard Oscar Falcao (Torres)
  4. I really hope he doesn't join another Premier League club...
  5. Sites are always coming and going in the area, even those big enough for a 60k stadium. A few years back the site that is now Westfield Shopping Centre was available, that is now gone. A few years ago the Earls Court site was in use and was then bought by a housing development company, Battersea Power Station recently became an option that was not open to us 5 or so years ago. How do we not know that the Stewarts Lane Depot site won't become available soon for example?
  6. I'm thinking something along the lines of cloud base from Captain Scarlet
  7. So Harrow is now on the list of sites? Jesus Christ that's further away than Wembley, not too much further and you end up looking outside Greater London. Old Oak Common would also be shite- proper QPR territory. Kensal again is a bit too close to QPR for my liking Unigate Site- Im having a look at the sites you have listed but then we come to this and surely moving here would just be taking the piss? It is literally 500m from Loftus Road! Linford Christie Stadium- Basically Old Oak Common I still think Earl's Court should be our priority if we don't get Battersea. It already has good transport links, would probably be easier to deal with because Hammersmith and Fulham Council are involved in the regeneration of the area. It would mean we wouldn't have to move too far and the area around Earls Court feels similar to that of Stamford Bridge
  8. In the Shed Upper they sometimes let us stand and don't say a word. Other times they tell us all to sit down and we just stand there and say 'no.' back. They give up eventually. Truly pathetic by Sunderland though.
  9. did Torres spend Christmas day getting wankered?
  10. anyone else have a man crush on Phil Thompson? ALL HAIL PHIL!
  11. Looks like Bacon Face will have to slip an extra £50 into the big brown envelope at half time
  12. 1. Moscow. I will always rememeber Terry walking up to penalty spot to take his penalty and the commentator saying 'this to put the cup in his hands' followed by 'Ohhh he's missed it!' and minutes later when Anelka missed 'United again!' I just cried all night 2. Seeing Di Matteo get treated like shit by our board and then appointing a man who many Chelsea fans had a deep hatred for. It was the first and only time I had felt truly betrayed by the club. Sitting on here with talk that Rafa would be announced imminently on the Chelsea website and then actually seeing it just killed me. 3. Barcelona in 2009. We absolutely battered the best team in the world and I think we would have beaten Man U in the final but we were cheated. 4. Getting absolutely destroyed by Man U at Old Trafford in 2009. 3-0 it ended and Scolari just sat there not doing anything to change the way we were playing. 5. Going 2-0 up against Monaco in the first half of the Champions League semi final and believing that little Chelsea could reach the Champions League final only for us to end up drawing 2-2. 6. Garcia's ghost goal 7. Losing to Arsenal in the FA Cup final 8. Winter 2010 when we won 3 games in 2 months and so many of our performances lacked any passion from the players
  13. So you think that McEachran and De Bruyne will return from their loans and instantly be 2 midfielders good enough to come up against top level teams every week? yes Lampard isn't what he was but he offers a great deal of experience- something De Bruyne and McEachran do not. If Lampard leaves we will be left with quite an inexperienced midfield. At the start of next season, should we not sign anyone else our midfield would be this old: Romeu 21 Ramires 26 Mata 25 Oscar 21 Mikel 26 Moses 22 Hazard 22 Marin 24 Piazon 19 De Bruyne 22 McEachran 20 (Essien 30 and Benayoun 33 the fact that they are on loan may mean that they will leave this Summer) Not including Essien and Benayoun, the average age of that midfield is 22, if you take out Piazon it is 22.9. If you take out Piazon and add in Lampard it would be 24. Compare that with other clubs Barcelona (24), Real Madrid (25), Man U (28), Man City (29). It is clear that our midfield is not old enough to compete with these teams. With Cole, what is the problem if we break our over 30's policy? If other players then want a contract more than 2 years and are over the age of 30 we don't have to offer them one
  14. Get rid of him and bring in rusty, unproven in this league David Villa 6 months later. Seems legit.
  15. I can't say I was paying any attention to all of it- it was by far the most boring wedding I have ever been to and involved 2 people I had never even heard of but yes I wouldn't be surprised if they were cousins or something!
