  1. We are literally running out of managers to hire, and the same scenario continues again and again and again. It's not even about stability anymore, it's about changing the course. Players are getting paid to play football, getting hundreds of thousands of pounds a week, more than real, hard-working people, earn in years and years, so I'm sorry too if I don't buy into "motivation" bullshit. This period was bound to happen when we change managers, pholosophies like socks. We've accumulated a graveyard of players. Sure not every decision made by the CLUB regarding players has been the best but you've got to understand that Mourinho doesn't make these decisions on his own, he can only give his thoughts and wishes, rest is for lawyers and management to discuss. It's clear as daylight that Mourinho didn't plan to start this season with this squad.
  2. I feel quite the opposite, this game shows that its certain players' absolutely shocking form that puts us in this position. Hazard, who? Kennedy did more in 5 minutes than Hazard all game, doesn't seem interested nor fit at all. If it's Mourinho's approach, how can Willian shine game in-game out, for me he was the best player on the pitch, AMAZING. Can't wait to chop deadwood out from this club come summer and I couldn't be happer if Mourinho guided us through that process.
  3. Obviously not a good result, but lots of positives to take from this game nontheless, well played
  4. Cole was hardly world class anymore when he left us. Felipe is a different situation, I agree, that could have been handeled better. But why do you assume Mourinho has total control over transfers? Many people don't take into account players' personal preference, maybe he wanted to move back to Spain? Luiz himself said he wanted to leave long ago, Schürrle transfer was predictable, KdB wanted a transfer himself, just recently there was a report that it was infact Mourinho who asked the board NOT to sell Kevin. Getting the money we got for Mata nothing short of brilliant business. The times where players have to stay in a club for a decade to be regarded as a good business or good transfer, are over. Players move more freely and more frequently, mostly because of agents, its money, its business, nothing personal. Don't read into the medias' theories, they make up stories based on little evidence and people buy into it too easily, it's propaganda, it's a campaign. As hard as it is to believe, we've got bigger issued to solve than Mournho's pressers. I'll go as far to say that if Eva was a male doctor, there wouldn't have been nearly as big issue from medias side as it is now, dragged on for ages. People have developed some weird emotional connection to Eva as if she was the only doctor we had, she was just a screw in a big machine. It's a pseudo problem. Our problem is that our squad lacks leaders, genuine characters. We lost Cech, Drogba, so we only have Terry left. Our problem is underperforming players. Our problem is needless and one sided media campaign against us, we're an easy target. Our problem is Mourinho's stubborness. It's a combination of all of these, not just Mourinho. Look at the bigger picture. To think sacking Mourinho will get us to play Barcelona-esque football is a naive, short term thinking, navy blue illusion. Been there, done that, let's try differently.
  5. Mate, take a breather. Writing provocative, bullish statements every 10 minutes based on emotions won't get your point across any better. While you're at it, please look up the words "loyalty" and "respect".
  6. You're saying it like it's April or May already, its early October. Get a grip, seriously. We have a realistic chance of turning it around and even winning something.
  7. To be fair, he has some points in the interview: - We have a habit of puting the blame on the manager and sacking them, to this day I don't understand why Carlo Ancelotti was sacked. - It's not tactical mistakes, but moreover individual mistakes that cost us. These players are paid 100-250 THOUSAND euros a week to kick a ball, excuse me if I don't feed into the "manager can't motivate the players", is this a sunday league team? Players have to be held responsible, aswell. This hole we're in, was a group "effort". The level of referees in the Premier League is shocking, so many mistakes, game changing moments gone wrong for most teams. Can't wait for camera refereeing, it's 2015. Atleast Mourinho shows that he cares, he let's his temper and emotion take control of him, but that's form one point utterly unprofessional but yet understandable. Atleast he is invested.
  8. There has to be something more to this. It seems to me he has just burnt out, can't handle the expectations and constant pressure by the press.
  9. To be fair I'd rather we finished either in top4 or below 7th place, Europa League is waste of time and energy. But that's rushing ahead of time I guess... sad times.
  10. It's naive to think that it's only Mourinho's tactics that make us stutter. In my eyes we lack leaders, with the exception on Terry, who also is not the defender he used to be. I doubt this would happen if we still had the likes of Drogba or Lampard in the dressingroom. On top of that our players' confidence and form seems to be nothing compared to what it used to be, if anything that seems to be mental confidence we're lacking and that's something players need to meet Mourinho half way. In fact in my eyes Mourinho is even overly protective (putting himself on the line of fire with provocative behaviour, statements and so on) of our players and the club, and yet, gets stick from our own fans (Internet fans) - I do realise the mood is very different towards Mourinho amongst the match-going fans, they've got the respect and PATIENCE, Mourinho, our most succesful manager ever, deserves. With the form on the pitch and drama off the pitch makes Chelsea an easy target for the media and it's sad to read that so many of our fans, if I can use that word, are feeding into it. I can only imagine you as friends when times are not so good. Mourinho and the players deserve that we close one eye and get fully behind them. That's the only way everyone can move forward.
  11. So we'll make more profit on Ake and Kalas, what's there to understand?
  12. Seems to be very similar to our own academy youngsters who have been loaned out for years now, what is the difference? They'll all be sold sooner or later. Listen, I get your point, I hope you get mine, I can't make myself any clearer. Let's not derail the thread, time will tell.
  13. We are a football club, but football is a business, it's aim is to make money and promote a brand. The fact that we haven't heard of him doesn't mean he doesn't have any potential. 23 is still very young and as I said earlier the quoted price is pocket change for us, the chances of breaking even or making profit are far higher given the silly market nowadays. Can't please everyone I guess. EDIT: Welcome to the club Hector, all the best to you
  14. Like I said, an investment. Like in any business it does involve risk, a risk we can take and can easily afford, but moreover time. We take the player, bring him into the spotlight, loan him out and if he does turn into something we'll easily collect profit from selling him. This isn't supposed to make us money by tomorrow. It's like real estate really, we rent some of the "properties" out, we sell some, doesn't mean we ever need to "live" in one of the "appartments".
  15. I don't understand the hate. What are your opinions based on? Bet you haven't seen the guy play even. At quoted price he is nothing near a risk. Rather an investment. If you haven't noticed Chelsea buys player not only for themselves but to send them to farm clubs, make profit and then buy the players we actually need, simple as that. And we've been BRILLIANT at that, keep up the good work board.
  16. It's rather unfair to blame only Mourinho, let alone call for a sack after three-four games. He's staying and it's simple as that, bst thing for the club aswell. I find it extremely irritating when people start the sentence with demaning for stability and end it with calling for a sack. Don't take this too seriously, we're on a bad form patch but it will pass, like always, and so will the "sack-brigade" on this board. Relax.
  17. Would take Witsel+Isco any day of the week over Pogba
  18. If this transfer does indeed happen, not only does it lift the team but also prevent United from strengthening their team. At quoted price of 20mil, not a big risk given the market nowadays, plus with Cuadrado possibly heading out we're realistically breaking even. I do think most of all we need a central midfielder though, progress nonetheless!
  19. 34 million euros for a 28 year old is too much money, I'm glad Chelsea board isn't throwing money around, moreover Chelsea has been nothing short of brilliant in the transfer market for a long time now. I don't see why we shouldn't trust the board's judgement again, have faith and patience. It'd send out a wrong message, it would be very hard to negotiate a deal with any club in the future if we just give in all the time and throw extra millions in without thought.Plus I think we have more urgent worries than Arda's position we need to address - like a cover and suitable partner for Matic if Fabregas is played up field, proper backup for Courtois and so on.
  20. I think this is made out to be something bigger than it really is. In the end of the day this is just and only football, it's entertainment business. Cech wanted to stay in London for his family, I think it's a good reason in itself. Why Arsenal? They are the only club in London besides Chelsea that can offer that level of football and Champions League games. Like Drogba said on Instagram - sad to see him go but love to see him happy - all very true.
  21. All the best Cech, completely understand why he'd stay in London and still keep the ambition to play at the highest level, family first - football second.
