WHAT A GAME. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.

vs. Shürrle?

Main thing we got one, just one more and keep defensively solid. Smart play by Luiz on Cavani's card, psyhological victory. Had Cahill took his chance... chin up, we've got this. I don't mind going out aslong as we go fighting. No daydreaming on the field and everyone has to give 110%. Come on Chels!

Azpilicueta, Matic and Salah been very good so far

Chelsea are expected to line up in the following 4-2-3-1 formation: 1 Petr Cech; 2 Branislav Ivanovic, 24 Gary Cahill, 26 John Terry ©, 28 Cesar Azpilicueta; 8 Frank Lampard, 21Nemanja Matic; 14 Andre Schurrle, 22 Willian, 15 Mohamed Salah; 9 Fernando Torres. Substitutes: 23 Mark Schwarzer, 33 Tomas Kalas, 3 Ashley Cole, 4 David Luiz, 11 Oscar, 17 Eden Hazard, 19Demba Ba.

God, stop whining. Whenever we go for Willian-Oscar-Hazard there are people complaining that we should rest them and use Schürrle, Salah and so on... well given the fact that we need fresh legs for PSG replay this is the point we need to trust in players like Salah and Schürrle, isn't it the whole point of having them in Chelsea colours? Lighten up for once, come on.

If Real Madrid has Casillas on bench, why couldn't we have Courtois and Cech both? Wouldn't be too bothered to lose Lukaku for good money but losing Courtois would be bad business any way you look at it. Including him in Costa deal wouldn't make it any bit better, personally I think Costa is a little bit over-rated. There are only two players who I'd trust to come in and do a good job for us after all those post-Drogba years, and those names are Cavani and Rooney.

In a sense we've faced most of their forward line when we played Napoli, worked out quite well, the home leg, anyway. Only player who makes me nervous is Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He is one of the few players in world football who can change any game on any level. Some call it arrogance, I call it confidence. If we can ruin his game flow we'll be alright. Sure they've got a great squad but so do we. I'd be happy if we score a goal there (1-0; 1-1; 1-2, 2-1) so we'll have all to play for next week.

In a sense it might spur Arsenal on to atleast get a draw against City to make up for their performances lately. Who knows, City need to start dropping points..

It's beyond be how Barcelona are still depicted and rated so highly. That game was anything but clean. Neymar and all things surrounding him (transfer dealing, corruption, shameless diving) can't get any more disgusting. Referee didn't have the authority to control the game. Ronaldo's penalty outside the box, Neymar's yet again dive, Iniesta's penalty was clear-cut, all be it soft for my liking. Had Benzema scored the sitters he had in the start, Madrid wouldn't be in this position. Time to look into the mirror but referee was a joke. Di Maria ran the show for me, man of the match in my eyes.
-
They would have to drop 3 points if we want to climb above them with goal difference, 4 if we want to win with superior points.

What will be done about the red card though? Gibbs probably, and rightly so, not banned after FA reviews it but can/will Chamberlain be punished retrospectively? Doubt it, so in that sense it was a profitable call for Arsenal, they shouldn't complain. And let's be fair, 6-0 is hard to explain, they were absolutely rubbish!

Wouldn't mind Man United, but I think we'll get Real Madrid for some reason, always seem to get the glamorous reunions. Drogba-Chelsea, Mourinho-Real Madrid etc..

...and they delivered.. unbelievable

England, Switzerland, Slovenia, Estonia, San Marino, Lithuania. Estonia is not exactly a football nation so it's exciting to see England and Switzerland visit Tallinn, excited!

Looking at Napoli vs AC Milan game it just confirms how fluent and good football Chelsea is playing. Very slow build-up by Milan. Any idea why Balotelli was crying on the bench?
