I think Sturridge and Kakuta are both good players in the future, but as of now you can not compare them with Pastore.

I'd love to see Essien stay for years to come. I think its not right to make him culprit for our somewhat failed season. If we really want Sneijder, we'll get him one way to another, but dissing out own players and pulling the trigger just like that doesn't sound right. (although I do agree he was poor for most of this season, but I can not stress enough that he was hardly a fraction of our problem)

I think it would work, because it's not only Hughes taking tactical decisions then, Hiddink would still play a big part even as a director of football. Hughes left his post at Fulham, Hiddink couldn't assure Turkey about his future and snubbed PSV, it all might be coincidence as well.
