  1. I feel somewhat opposite, I think we'll sign someone on the last week or last day even
  2. 3-1 for Chelsea Koscielny will be out with a red card and to me, Mertesacker seems more vulnerable. What's the situation on Mikel Arteta? They also had to work hard the entire game to get a result against Swansea, so it can also affect them
  3. If anything I'd support using the transfer window to get some much needed energy in the CM position, perhaps striker to cover Ba and someone to rotate and at the same time maintain the quality when Mata or Hazard is off. Probably not though, summer seems more wise to re-build. All I hope for is no panic buys
  4. Very good post. I really hope there would be more fans like you. Stable, mature and think realistically
  5. All emotions aside, this had nothing to do with Rafa Benitez. Look at the facts, we just don't take our chances, not even the decent ones. Lampard seems to be obsessed with the record, wants to prove a point to the board it seems - very selfish against the team. Sure, to certain point Benitez has to take the blame, it comes with the job but some statements I read are like shooting blind-folded, not even connected to Benitez. We try to walk to ball in at times or make wrong decisions to shoot or to pass. 17 y.o Luke Shaw just made the 1st goal for them, look how much room he had and for the pass. Same for Puncheon, had a century to pick a pass out. both quality finishes but go down to defensive errors. That was our game in hand and we blew it. Look at the bright side, we are still 5 points clear of Everton who are 5th. Top4 finish is really all we should aim for and secure this season. We need a change but I'm afraid I can't put my finger on it what's going on at Chelsea. Something's not clicking. Perhaps exhaustion, perhaps just bad luck, who knows. Rafa must stay atleast till June, who'd you replace him with? And saying "anyone but him" only proves that people are high on emotions rather than thinking it over realistically. Arsenal up next, kind of wish it was in the Emirates
  6. People say "Rafa out" - who you replace him with? Noone would come to Chelsea at the moment and there is noone better than Benitez available. The fans being cunts instead of supporting the team also drags us down, it's pathetic already with that "only one di matteo" on 16th minute, GET OVER IT
  7. Really? Blaming it on Torres? He came on when we were 2-2 already. Sure he did scew up a pass or two BUT WHO DIDN'T. Open your eyes, even Lampard did mistakes, missed a sitter and was way to selfish at times, especially first half. Oscar and Ramires were awful I thought, Mata needs a rest. Hazard, Ba, Luiz and Azpilicueta were alright I guess. We need changes, conversion rate is so bad at the moment. They had 2 shots on target - 2 goals, we had over 10 shots on target, nearly if not 20 chances in total... Rafa's fault? No, its the players, they've got to step up and take the blame for once. I'm sick of player power and in that sense I'm more than glad to see the old-guard go, new manager deserves a fresh start not put up with spoilt millionaires, resting on their "legend" reputation and shabby excuses. Time for a change
  8. Very nice goal, I thought, though, Lampard should have passed the ball through to Ba in one situation rather than take an awkward shot, but o well
  9. Perhaps he is afraid to test himself in the best leage in the whole world? Match himself against the likes of Sir Alex Fergusons, Arsene Wengers without Messis, Xavis and Iniestas? Will be very interesting to see how he does in Bayern before I'll make my mind up on him as a manager compared to the greats
  10. You might be right in that sense. No point appointing a manager, regardless how good or bad he does, to a longer term contract if large porportion of the fans are against him, wouldn't make sense. Let's just look at our home support compared to fantastic away support and results. You've got a fair point... Who then? Mourinho would be welcome in the eyes of the fans, but Abramovic?
  11. I'm actually glad, I rate Guardiola highly but I'd rather get Mourinho or stick with Benitez IF Rafa proves himself further in the second half of the season. Let's admit it, he has done great, minus the game against QPR, others have been 90% because players haven't showed up.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXEr8JHVR-E&feature=player_embedded Laughed all the way through it, British humour's just that good
  13. Too moody player, it seems to me atleast, has the "star complex", also very injury plagued
  14. I don't think it was even a foul to be honest, max yellow card for rash challange, he does get the ball first Only thing I can say why it could have been red is: At first seemed like a two-foot challangeReferee's point of view
  15. Hazard MOTM. What a strike, constant threat for their players. Luiz, Lampard and even Cole and Azpilicuate had a good game aswell. I do think Lampard should get a 1-2 year deal but not for the salary he is on. 160,000£ a week for a 34-year old, 35 in summer, is a waste. In that sense that deal would make no financial sense. Then again, we don't know his real salary nor what has been on the table already and so on. I trust the board, at some point we've got to let him go. Just the way it has been done so far hasn't been pretty but Lampard's advisors, agents are making sure it doesn't subside and bring it up once in a while.
  16. Wow, WBA we're 2-0 ahead (2x Lukaku) even on 82. minute only to let in THREE goals in under 10 minutes.. a shame
  17. Oh..my.. Hazard with an absolute beauty
  18. Whos this lampard, sign him up Jokes aside, 3-0 is flattering for us but I TAKE IT!!
  19. Shit, walters going for hat-trick, watch out
  20. I don't understand Bertrand's inclusion either but Lampard and Hazard have been brilliant
  21. Stoke is such a physical but dirty team, unbelievable... wouldn't surprised if they injure someone
