It will change when the season progresses. Every team will drop points at some point. Of course can't expect title race to be wide open, we already knew that it's going to be 3-4 teams running for the championship. More games, new opponents.. anything can happen! You've done great for many seasons, you'll do it again I'm sure! If I'm not mistaking you've taken 2 out of 2 this season with manager of the week titles.
-
I've won it 4 times, which means more than you, with less time in the league. Even this term I got 5 Manager of the week (Xpert11) titles, you got 4. I understand you've achieved a lot but your team is alot stronger then other teams are, which means you can make mistakes with tactics and get away with it.

He's Super Villains, one of the big boys in the Premier League. Congrats to Terminator-X for yet another title. I finished second, got to change something and fast to mount a challange again.

My vote goes for The Skipper, quality poster

You missed the part where I wrote "Found this", you're barking at the wrong door.

Found this: Missed out on Pastore - got Mata Missed out on Modric - got Oscar Missed out on Hulk - got Hazard Miss out on Cavani - don't worry!

Weird reading some of the messages here. "P$G and A$ Monaco" - guys, we like them not too long ago, buying anything and everything for fees out of this world. What do you expact? ADL to roll over and sell Cavani to Chelsea for less money because we are playing in the better league? Hell no, it's a business. Time to open your eyes and not be so drawn in by all the nonsense. PSG is very attractive club, it's not like they came out of nowhere and judging from last years Champion's League campaign, they're not too bad either, almost knocking Barcelona out. So let's not be hypocrites here. As for Cavani. Would I have liked to see him here? Yes. Do we need an established striker for next season? Yes. Should we pay them 70m? No. Is he worth it? No. If it's true that he is going to PSG, we've dodged a massive bullet and I'm glad bidding-wars aren't considered a sport in Chelsea boardroom anymore. We should be happy Chelsea's board double-thinks bids and to be fair has been making very good signings lately - Courtois, Azpilicueta, Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Lukaku, KDB and so on, all young players who rival clubs surely regret they didn't get. So props to the board. Still think going into the new season with Lukaku-Torres-Ba is risky. We haven't seen them play under Mourinho but Torres just hasn't got that killer instinct anymore. His body language and even physique ooze of lack of self-confidence. Ba is great squad player but not much more I'm afraid. Lukaku hopefully will be our main striker for years to come but to put that kind of pressure on a 20 year old is plain stupid. He needs time and patience and if you're Chelsea's main striker then those are the two things you won't have. Strikers aren't our main weakness though, we need to sort out center midfield and even center back situation as priorities. But that's a whole another story.
-
Great signing for the future. But we need impact signings for the coming season, I feel we're still too weak in midfield and if we keep signing 20-21 year olds it won't probably change much.
-
If I directly answer this then Cavani. But actually I wouldn't mind if we go into the new season with Lukaku, Ba, Torres as our center forwards aslong as we add to CM position.

We get your point, we accept it and so on but don't take it so personally when anyone has something to say about Neymar. Most of us here are Europeans and we are judging it based on "our" culture, like you said. You tell us not to judge you, don't judge us. No need to "convert" our beliefs. He is a very talented footballer but his diving and cheating habits are a fact, nothing isn't going to change it. And as far as I know football is played under one set of rules, there are no "european" rules and "south-american rules". Traditions I get, but cheating is cheating. He isn't the only one doing it, of course. I remember Drogba getting alot of stick for diving to the ground rather than playing on and seeing what he could have made from that oppurtunity. Plus it hurts Neymar's reputation. Just remember the time Johnny Evans flew into Drogbas rib-cage with high foot and in the end it was Drogba getting yellow carded for diving but replay showed it was clear red card foul.

Thanks for the head up! They feel like socks really, today first running session with them. Lost 3 kgs during my exams, got to add it back by training, some of it was fat but I forgot to eat properly because time flies when studying so surely lost more muscle then should have. Priorities I guess! Hows your marathon training and gym going?

Some say knee and lower back are two parts of human body that never properly heal. Might be caused by the fact that it never gets the "rest" to heal, always in constant friction, under weight and so on. Plus there are so many ligaments that connect femoris, tibia, fibula and also a sesamic bone called patella. Meniscs inbetween femor and tibia make art. genus (knee joint) into a two-level joint, aswell. We had to first learn the theory last year and then preparate a knee on a donated body (preparate = to get ligaments, muscle tendons, blood vessels and nerves out) and let me tell you there's a bunch. So many things can go wrong starting with pinched nerve to a torn/sprained ligament. You're doing a right thing to see a doctor before it gets worse. Wish you all the best and let's hope it's not serious. And it takes time to heal. I landed awkwardly when playing football and it been 5 weeks, still feel it in my foot. (sprained my retinaculum mm. extersorum inferior) When it comes to training then you've got to feel what your body is telling you. You can't over-do but at the same time it has to be somewhat hard because you're pushing your body and making it adapt, and like anything and everything in life - changes take time to get used to. Same with human body. Just an illustration:

Was brilliant for us, was brilliant for PSG and will be brilliant for RM, perfect match. All the best to him, sincerely would like to see him succeed

Ordered a pair of Nike Free Run V 5.0, should arrive any day now. Anyone tried them?

How about the offside goal(s) the referee gave to Brazil? Dante's was 100% offside, missed the replay for Fred's second but that had hint of offside to it aswell from the angle I saw it. Hard to say from this angle

Rules are rules, it's his problem that he is light weight. Just watch him toe-jump and almost do saltos when he gets tackled. For example the incident where he scored the free kick, very easy foul. If that's the football you like, fine. And it's not about how many other players do, we're talking about Neymar here. The excuse "everyone's doing it" is just silly, doesn't make it any bit better. Abate reportedly has dislocated shoulder because Neymar went to revenge on Abate for Abate's earlier foul on Neymar. It was with intention and aggression. Rules say any aggressive behaviour = red. It was a red in my eyes. I don't hate him, why should I? I'm not a fan either, enough said. Just to clarify, you dont "know" him either. Beyond me how every brazilian thinks he is a football expert and has bigger say in things just because of their nationality. You've no idea what and who I watch regularly. And jealousy? I admire his achievements and talent but not him as a person nor player. Hope he proves me wrong when he enters the big stage next season.
-
Been playacting and asking referee to book opposition players all night. The foul on Abate should have been red in my eyes, it was vengeance, nothing to do with football. Glad we didn't sign him.

Imagine if this was Lukaku or De Bruyne.

There's a difference between a 19 year old and a 19 year old, if you know what I mean

Democracy and all that but Romeu is Chelsea player. It's one thing to have an opinion but to express "an opinon" like that without even explaining? Shame really. The quality of this forum is going down faster than I could have imagined. Was it like this last summer? Honestly can't remember. The flood of 13-19 year olds off from school really shows, just scroll back for example 10 pages of this thread and tell me how much discussion there really is? Almost none. On top of that the number of quality posters has decreased a lot, instead we have gif posting, quantity over quality, 100 posts a day forumers. At the moment I honestly skim though the forum, only reading posts of those few quality posters left (and not because I couldn't be bothered but there's nothing to read in 90% of the posts around here) Can't wait for the season to start
