You're throwing around numbers in every thread. How do you know? None of us knows the real prices and why would Porto or Newcastle sell with just hours to go? January is a stupid time for those clubs to sell We will keep the money for summer and rightly so. New manager has to pick the signings and we need to stick to him. With Malouda, Lampard, Hilario, Turnbull, Benayoun and Ferreira out it should free up a large sum for new signings and there'll be plenty.

First off, I think Rafa has to go. I was rather neutral or even positive that we should keep Rafa till summer but yesterday's game proved me wrong. At the same time I think some people overhype Di Matteo. Champions League wasn't only because of his tactics and so on. It was also old-guard putting in good games and more-over LUCK. Di Matteo inserted self confidence and had instant positive impact on the players because of the negative relationships with AVB, who was sacked. Di Matteo did tire out our players, although he did make us play attacking football and it was very effective in the start of the season but it was fading as time wore on. There was no rotation what so ever and in the end of the day even athletes get tired and performance drops. Keep in mind he, too, lost two trophies and is responsible for failure in Champions League this season. Di Matteo is a great person, a gentleman but in no way a world class manager, not yet.

Enough is enough, not watching Chelsea games till Rafa's gone. Can't be arsed with the crap gameplay, riding our luck and screwing it up with 3 mins of normal time to go. I hoped Benitez would back my support but seemingly not. Moyes would be the perfect sub. In Serie A Juve, Milan, Inter all use "lower" positioned league's managers and they're doing fine. Conte's Juve is a dominant force. Moyes deserves this but next manager HAS to have full support of the board plus time and finances. No more stop gaps.
