I'm saying as much as people here would like to think that they know more than Benitez - they don't even have 5% (and that's being generous) of the footballing knowledge he has, there's a reason he has been a manager of Valencia, Liverpool and Chelsea while we're here on the Internet typing ANONYMOUSLY. Voicing opinion is of course needed and welcome but I'm saying we don't have the slightest background info nor reason why he chose to do those moves, and never will. We can only speculate - or commence in an all out hate war on the Internet like some. In my opinion he has done fine considering how bad things could have already been. At the moment we're in contention to win EL and are in a good position to finish 3rd, all in our own hands. It'd be deluded to think any manager would have won most of the competitions we were in when you considering our squad depth, injuries, AFCON, managerial situation, fan "support", media attention, hangover from CL glory and so on. But hey - just voicing my opinion, like you said.

Been hitting a rough patch lately, got some positions I need to reinforce to be back in the big game next season, for now it's season over and damage limitation. Had my only good striker out for half a season, then best midfielder, now a defender, but that's football. Not going to make up excuses, next year new start with alot stronger squad and tactical know how..

Would love to see the excuses from people like you when the new manager hits a rough patch. So, so many E-managers here, you don't know what's behind his decisions not to sub someone in, it might be a minor injury, it might be bad form/attitude shown in training and so on. Think outside the box, behind a LCD screen we all think we could do better, reality is oh so much different.

There's a few around, namely Buffon, Casillas and not so long ago Cesar.. Cech is an authority and been around a long time, why not. But I get your point though, good to have captain running up and down the pitch

For me Facebook helps me learn the names of people I meet, otherwise I'll always hesitate when talking to them, not to offend them with wrong name But I agree in a sense that people share too much stuff on the site, it's the fucking Internet, it's not going to be private just because you ticked a box or two in the privacy settings. Also for some people, having thousand "friends" on there is some kind of an achievement for them, like a show of status. If they find it necessary, fine by me. And if people keep mass-adding you, take it as a compliment, they've obviously found you interesting...

Atleast two scandalous decisions by the ref. Agüero should have been sent off and it was a penalty, clumsy by Kompany. Clear as daylight. Having said that we barely deserved more from this game. Drawing 2-2 would be flattering for us if you look at the first half performance, we weren't even close to as good as City in that period. Second half was better but again, City had the edge. We couldn't control neither Toure or Tevez. Our midfield is leaking, players are tired. I'm proud of them not to give up at 2-0 down, well done. Torres made instant impact and was lively thoughout, what a goal by Ba yet again, but other than that he was quite invisible or ineffective. Stupid time to drop out, would have rather dropped out a few rounds back then, would have saved two replays and now this, but that's football. Europa League and top4, focus on those two... KTBFFH

They were the better team, face it. Some decisions perhaps should have been made differently by the ref but ultimately you're the smith of your own luck. We didn't show up in the first half. Exactly and it's not because they're not capable of doing so, it's because of the society, salary gap and pure physiology of sexes... Mind you, there's always exceptions but rule of thumb is man usually makes more money and is physically stronger thus the feeling of protection

Yeah, feels stupid spending that money while you'll probably just get 2 bars increase. I rarely use it, unless some first choice player is back from injury and I need him to produce the goods
