I think this was just a move to get Benfica to budge. They are holding us ransom to a price tag, because they know we dont have another option. If Chelsea is involved in another transfer which would also include a striker at a reasonable price tag, Benfica will sell much quicker.

I knew that we were still in the running for Aguero, thats why I didnt want anything to work out with Sanchez. David has the potential to become the captain of our future generation, so this is a signing I would absolutely love to see.
