I feel like every move made this summer was solely to prepare us for the CL. We didnt pick up any significant strikers because this year, were doing a triple. Theres no room for new players to adjust at this time. Ramires is an exception because he has plenty of support on the pitch from his position, and can adjust much better throughout the season playing alongside Essien. But a new striker would not benefit us in CL. Anelka and Drogba have one or 2 more runs left in them for a CL title, until we NEED a replacement, we wont be singing one.

When will players dream of playing for Chelsea? 3 more EPLs and a CL trophy? Teams like Real, Barca, and Man Utd only need to declare interest in players and the rest takes care of itself.
