When Drogba flipped out for not being allowed to take the PK at the end of the season, it didnt even cause this much of an uproar, and the man is in his 30s! This is a child were talking about here. I feel like every move made this summer was solely to prepare us for the CL. We didnt pick up any significant strikers because this year, were doing a triple. Theres no room for new players to adjust at this time. Ramires is an exception because he has plenty of support on the pitch from his position, and can adjust much better throughout the season playing alongside Essien. But a new striker would not benefit us in CL. Anelka and Drogba have one or 2 more runs left in them for a CL title, until we NEED a replacement, we wont be singing one.
