Im talking about why weve been beaten MORE OFTEN since then.
-
Im the same as LDN, i genuianly didnt know that word took offense. shit.
-
The years 04-08 we were argubally the hardest team to beat in europe but since then we have been suffering a lot more defeats, some have blamed the manager's since then and some other theory's but for me there is only 1 reason we have lost more since 2008 and they are .... .... the departure of Makelele and the decline of Carvalho. Since 08-09 Makelele has not been at the club and Carvalho has not IMO been the same player he was between 2004-2008 and we were a lot easier to get at as a result, these 2 were vital cogs in what made our team so tough to brake down and ultimately beat and since the 08-09 we have lost more games because of the departure of one and the steady decline of the other nothing to do with the managers or players came in. But however with us unbeaten in matches David Luiz has started and John Obi Mikel's emergence in the DM position hopefully the days of being hugely difficult to beat aint that far away again. COYB

Was funny last year when Jose knocked Barca out of the competition they believed they owned.

The majority of the Man.Utd and Liverpool squad seem to get overhyped and over-rated to the max.
-
not sure, if we go on a bad run of form again there be a lot of Essien pining.
-
Not the point i dont think, last thing Essien needs is another injury (especially a reacurrance) no matter how long or short.

"Every one has to turn up and play ze same system as me and roll over and lose 3-0 or worse, if they dont they are playing anti-football and are a dirty team who should be banned"

6 goals in 7 games for Swansea, i reckon he could be our Hernandez.
-
Just scored again for Leicester, hes on a hat-trick Hopefully this will boost his confidence.

What seriously makes me laugh is that when Fernando left Atletico, there fans brought his Liverpool shirt and supports Fernando in what ever he does, he leaves Liverpool they burn his shirts call him every name under the sun but apparently he will "never be as loved as he was at Anfield". They claim there over him and are glad he has gone but still talk about him but there still insistent Suarez is a superior player, its like when a girl dumps a lad for another lad he clearly hates, the dumped lad gets a new girlfriend he will tell any one that listen's she is superior and better but deep down he would take his ex back in a shot if she offered, same here with Fernando and the scousers. They dont really have a right to gloat about that price tag since they used 70% of that money to sign ANDY CARROLL. Arsenal with the Ashley Cole saga werent that much better either.

You really think Roman will just say "there your are Jose, my mistake unlimited funds, take control" i love both of them but either ego wont work together again unless the other admits they were wrong and they were right, it just aint gunna happen.

Van Der Vart is only good when the team is built around him, the Spuds team is build perfectly to his strengths. He also has a piss poor attitude you only have to look at him storming down the tunnel like he lost his dummy against West Ham to see that, in our team he would flop IMO.
-
IMO he is LIVING of the Arsenal and Chelsea games at the back end of last season and the 2 Inter games.

Torres breaks goal duck as Blues crush hapless Hammers

Mikel will be a great player for us in years to come, although i did think he was caught Out of position a few times yestoday his passing as usual was spot on. -
Just thinking he did well of the bench, Hansen mentioned the impact of Zamora and Johnso off the bench but missed out Gael, if he played for Utd or Arsenal we would get 10 minute anaylisis on how he is the next Zidane.

Who else use to watch this? Thought it was a great drama, was pretty gutted when it ended in 2007, i started watching it from series 5 on and the drama never dis-appointed. For a football club they had a fair few tragedies. Had its funny moments aswell, Casper and the boys stuck on the beach before the Liverpool match was gold, all the lads panicking and Casper so laid back Loved Karl Fletcher's owning the other players, my fav character of the lot. All in all was enjoyable and i loved it, although i use to laugh when they always used our games and signed a player just because he looked like Jimmy Floyd the producers must have been Chelsea fans tho because i cant remember them using a win against us on that series. Who else use to watch that?
-
I saw that aswell. I reckon it would be worth (if Coyle will take them both) loaning Kakuta and McEachran to Bolton for a full season next time.
-
Lets hope he fucks the gooners over today.

What really makes me laugh is when El Nino left Athletico, they brought his shirts and vowed to support him where ever he went, Liverpool fans burn his shirts and then claim he will never be as loved anywhere.

good review, was a bit nervous when 1 nil, nearly had a heart attack when Keane has that chance but good performance all in all despite the horrendous conditions. 1 goal and 1 assist (should have been 2) for El Nino in 15 minutes, say no more. -
Didnt know where to put this so feel free to move it. At what part of the season can you look at the premier league table and see a true reflection in the quality of the teams? I was thinking this because in January before our trip to the stadium of light we were a mere 4 points off the Black cats, a win for Sunderland would have seen them enter February 1 point behind us and no disrespect to Sunderland but out of their whole squad id only have Gyan and El Mohammady anywhere near our team, fast forward 3 months were 2nd there 10th and there is a 26 point gap between the 2 teams. Another example Man.Utd during 2001/2002, during December they were 9th in the table and even below West Ham, 11 points behind Liverpool having played a game more, but come April they were well and truly in the hunt for title and remained so until the 2nd to last game, Arsenal in the same season started slowly and lumbered to a 4-2 home defeat to Charlton but come the end won the double. Utd in 2002/2003 were 4th/5th during December/January they didnt look capable of winning the title but that all changed in March-May. People say its November-December you can properly start looking at the league table to look at the strength of each teams and were there at, but to me that dont shine through until March possibly even April.

After the Arsenal match in 08/09 at home i never thought he would be any more than a squad player but im so glad to be proved wrong and im happy to eat and humble pie that gets thrown in my direction

Petr Cech 8 - Did superbly well to hold on to balls and make no mistakes despite the horrific conditions. Branislav Ivanovic 6 - Couple of dodgy moments where players got passed him a bit to easy but otherwise solid. David Luiz 7 - Responded well to a below par game on Wednesday and was fantastic despite it raining and him being brazillian, welcome to England son John Terry 7 - Led from the back. Ashley Cole 6 - Solid but unspectacular. John Obi Mikel 6 - some good passes but caught out of position 2 or 3 times. Micheal Essien 6 - read Cole. Frank Lampard 8 - signs of the Lamps of old today, great performance followed up by a great goal. Soloman Kalou 5 - Very sloppy today for me and not suprised when he went off. Didier Drogba 8 - Fantastic display again and proving his doubters who thought he was finished well and truly wrong. Florent Malouda 7 - It frustrates me thinking how poor he was between November and March knowing what he is capable off, well took goal. SUBS Fernando Torres 8 - 15 minutes, 1 goal 1 (should have been2) assists, say no more. Nicolas Anelka 6 Yossi Benayoun 7 What are your ratings?
