  1. Hopefully Schalke (preferably Raul as i have a bet on him scoring atleast once) will score 1st and atleast make them sweat, will make them use more energy.
  2. He is probably making a point that he deserves more big game starts.
  3. Soloman Kalou comes up with a vital goal yet again, for a supposedly "shocking" player he is making a nice habit out of it
  4. fantastic season, fantastic eos video.
  5. Was a great day and one ill never forget Was watching the game with mates who supported Arsenal and after Lamps scored the 2nd i was chanting "youre not champions anymore" and they aint been since
  6. Ive put it on facebook aswell, expecting a few comments back from the Spuds fans haha
  7. Branislav Ivanovic has been arrested on his way out of Stamford Bridge, players and coaches a like look bemused and no-one knows whats going on, later on the club released a statement saying that he has been charged due to being caught with £40m worth of over-rated dross and the player of the year award in his back pocket.
  8. yes Gael !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Despite being a unquestionable Chelsea legend i still can't help but feel what could have been if he had more (or all) season's like 06/07 and 09/10 or even all season in the latter. 06/07 he scored 33 goals and not 1 of them was a penalty, the 1st player to win the golden boot without taking 1 incidently (although Anelka has matched that feat since) and in 09/10 37 goals, only 1 of them penalty's and missed a month due to the ACON, that is the season if he had all season and took pens he would have IMO could easily have hit 60, the sky would have really been the limit for him, on form he is UN-STOPPABLE. If all his Chelsea season's were like those 2 then i reckon he would have surpassed 300 goals by now and also would have surpassed Henry and be considered a superior player to him, its a shame he seems to be so hit and miss because on top form i honestly believe only Messi is better. Yes players like Ronaldo might be on top form more often but im talking about top top form because if Drogba had all season and took pens last time, Ronaldo's 42 goal record would have smashed with ease (Ronaldo had all season and took pens aswell). Shame he has been so hit and miss during his time because the guy has so much talent its fucking insane.
  10. Really? I was in Bulgaria last summer (end of June) didnt realise we signed Yossi till i came back, completely didnt expect that one didnt even hear a rumour about it was like wtf lol.
  11. With no World Cup or European Championship on the way this summer a long close season is in store this summer. What is Talk Chelsea like in the close season, it is still busy, active but not as busy or pretty much dead? Wondering because i joined in January so aint been a member in the close season yet
  12. Maybe when im watching any other team than Chelsea, but i always feel best when Chelsea win and i would much rather see us win 1-0 than draw 4-4.
  13. Football is a results game. Do you think people will be talking about the Arsenal team that played "great" football but won nowt in 20 years time? People will be talking about Jose's back to back titles and Carlo's double in 20 years time without doubt. Plus i dont think Jose plays boring football its just a myth, his teams average over 2 goals a game, thats far from boring.
  14. What the fuck with all these anti-Jose posts? I want Carlo to stay but that does not mean i dont love Jose for what he has done for the club, have you forgotten this is the man that came into our club and won back to back titles with ultimate ease, turned Lamps and JT amongst others from obvious talents to the world beaters they are today, yes he had money to spend but he came in after Arsenal went unbeaten the whole season and had the likes of Henry, Vieira and Pires ALL in their prime and if its so easy to spend and win why is Mancini making a meal of it? Why have Madrid not been dominating world football for the last 20 years? He gave our players the winning mentality that they still hold today. This boring football myth has been well over-said, did you see us in 04/05 and to a lesser extend 05/06 when Robben and Duff were tearing teams apart? we were playing superb football, goals were coming from every where, a boring team dont score 11 goals in 4 games against Barca (2) and Bayern (2) do they? we may not have played with the "swagger" of Barca but we certainly weren't boring that's for sure. You don't constantly outwit Fergie and Wenger if your a bad manager, Jose has only lost 2 out of 22 against these 2 combined (both to Fergie). Want proof he aint over-rated? watch the team he won the treble with lose at home to Schalke badly, cant believe any-one thinks he is doing a bad job at Madrid, he is the 1st manager to get that team further than the 2nd round since 2003 and his record in the league states P33 W25 D5 L3 F79 A26 PTS 80 thats nearly 2.5 goals a game (not bad for a "boring mananger") and that points tally in the premier league this season would see them 7 points clear with a game in hand, the fact he is struggling to oust Barca goes to show how good this Barca side are more than anything else, Jose is doing fine at Madrid yes he played negative tactics against Barca but FFS if you don't you get thumped, name me one team thats played Barca at their own game and came out with something better than a heavy loss? Didnt hear any Chelsea fan complain when Guss Hiddink did the same. TBH it profounds me how any Chelsea fan can even think of a bad word about Jose as i have nothing but love, respect and appreciation for the man.
  15. Carlo to get full control over team affairs. Premier League and a decent fist of the cl More chances for Josh, Kakuta, Bertrand and some chances for Clifford's and Deen-Conteh Sturridge to be made a regular two quality wingers (Neymar and someone else) Drogba to stay, Anelka and Malouda should make way
  16. Just goes to show whay lying drunks the media are
  17. He's still well to good for QPRrse
  18. £40 million for a player living off 2 Inter games? no thanks He was worth £3million this time last year so if he does go for that amount Inter deserve £37m for over inflating his price
  19. Was watching the 08/09 season review last night and I still cannot understand what went badly wrong under Scolari, we went from playing beautiful football to dire, predictable football in less than a month. Pre season we won every game without conceding a goal (including a 5-0 thumping of AC Milan) and this looked really good heading into the new season. We started the season playing a flashy brand off football we've never seen before, the Pompey, Villa and Middlesborough games were un-real and after the latter match at the Riverside i honestly believed we would have walked the league that season and at the time Jose Bosingwa and Deco looked like superb signing's, Scolari looked to have got the best out of Belleti aswell and he (Scolari) really looked like he cracked it and i thought we would walk to the title in superb style. But in came Rafa off all people who came to SW6 with a tactical master plan, double up on the fullbacks and put Mikel under pressure and give him no time on the ball, it worked a treat and meant Liverpool walked away from Stamford Bridge with a 1-0 win, although we kept winning in the league for the next few weeks their was clearly something not clicking as shown by a worrying thumping in Rome and a Carling Cup exit to Burnley and then we had the week from hell that clearly shown the honeymoon period was well and truly over. A 0-0 home draw to Newcastle where we looked toothless and devoid of ideas followed up by a awful performance in Bordeux and only a defensive howler on their behalf gave us a goal and we were in danger of going out of the competition and then came the real hammer blow, 1-0 up at half time and cruising to probably the most easiest 1-0 win for a long time RVP hits a quick fire double for the Gooners as the come out of Stamford Bridge with a 2-1 win, Scolari and the Chelsea faithfull were shell shocked and after they went 2-1 up we didnt look like equalizing. December started with a comfortable win at whats slowly turning into our 2nd home (the Reebok) after that we went through to the last 16 of the CL depsite a nervy win against Cluj but after that followed un-inspiring draws against West Ham and Everton, a routine 2-0 win at home to WBA followed on Boxing Day and 2 days later 2 more dropped point down the road at Fulham, despite not losing this month there were still some pretty worrying signs and rumours of Scolari's sacking were getting louder. The new year could not have possibly started any worse, a home draw in the cup to Southend and then a humiliating defeat at Old Trafford, the 3-0 defeat flattered us in all honesty it could have been 6, and although we won the FA Cup replay at Roots Hall (4-1) 3 days later, we were outplayed by a Southend side mid table in league one for the 1st half and were lucky to into the break 1-1, i would probably say that was the most underwhelming victory since ive supported the blues, fast forward another 3 days and we found ourself's 1-0 down at Stamford Bridge to a Stoke side that aint won away all season, a loss would surely have seen Scolari out of the door but Franco Di Santo and Miroslav Stoch off all players inspired 2 late goals scored by Belletti and Frank Lampard and Soclari's job was briefly saved.wins against Ipswich and Boro followed but another hammer blow at Anfield saw Scolari hanging on by a thread. The Hull game was the one that saw Scolari get the chop, the players looked laboured, unfit and we could quite easily have lost that game, i went from thinking we would walk the league to worrying about our place in the top 4 in the space of 4 months, what i still can't work out to this day is how it went from one extreme to the other so quickly.
  20. Could you imagine if Jose was our manager in 2009 against Barcelona? Drogba was pretty scary that night but he would have been a pussycat in comparison to Jose's reaction.
  21. Absolutely fantastic article Its a shame he didn't leave unbeaten against Arsenal (like Carvalho) but you can't have it all Im not usually bothered about the opinion's off rival fans but it really hacks me off when they don't respect the things Drogba does but in turn stick their head up Stevie Me, Rooney, and Fabregas's ass. have one on me Didier LEGEND
  22. Pretty much agree with this (apart from Luiz in best buy), although i think were being a bit harsh on Torres he will come good.
