Falcao is just what we need, i want Torres to have a 20-30 goal season as much as the next fan but if that don't happen what next? Drogba is a legend but is 34 this season there is only so much longer we can constantly rely on him and we cannot expect Danny to go from occasionally off the bench to main point off our attack in the space of 6 months (via a loan at Bolton). Falcao and Torres can offer each other genuine competition for a first team birth and Drogba can still be our Giggs so to speak, if Torres is off form the chances are Falcao won't be and vice versa and if by some freak they are both off form then we have Didier aswel. Falcao is on form, brimming with confidence and after mastering the Portuguese and Europa league will be hungry for the step up. YES PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am i the only one delighted with Liverpool's transfer activity this summer? Carragher's a good defender but 33, Skrtel is a donkey and Aurellio aint that much better. Johnson's defending is even worse than Bosingwa and if he was any good he would still be with us. Reina is a class goallie but as the last couple of years proved there is only so much he can do. Im starting to think we should have kept Joe Cole for one last season and tried to get them to spend £20m on Joe Henderson, Carroll and Adam are good(ish) but have shown nothing to suggest that they could become anywhere near world class and Liverpool for me have done nothing to suggest they are going to be title challengers anytime soon, if they could not win it with Alonso, Mascerano and Torres what makes any-one think they will do it with Henderson, Adam and Carroll i do not know but one thing i do know is that they are no threat in terms of the title and before any-one says Dalglish his win record since returning is 47% (7% worse than Scolari's with us in similar time) and the fact Pool fans are heralding his stint as a heroe act just goes to show how far the've fallen.

Queen Cashback has only got a 47% win since returning to Liverpool and they have got battered by some shite teams under him aswell. His reign is only actually that good if you compare it to Roy or Rafa's last season.

Pretty much agree with blionheart, keep the solid defense and defensive midfield and flair attack, play great football but keep a strong core because if we play Barca (especially at the Camp Nou) we won't be able to play open attacking football for 19 minutes without getting pumped.
