I think he will be, he showed at Genk that he can hack it in big games so i will be confident if he needs to step in against Arsanul or United. Hilario i will be reasonably confident as he shown against Pool and Barca he can do well in one off games Turnbull on the other hands scares me shitless any time he plays and has been shit whenever he has played for us (bar Inter).

Providing we sign other players who are needed aswell would this actually be a bad deal? For a DM he can still give us a few years, last time he was unlucky he has Maka, Tiago and Lampard all performing great and on the form of their lives, he hardly has the same problem this time does it and someone above mentioned his performances last season, he was trying to get West Ham out of the shit by himself,if it was not for him West Ham would have been down in March and if the whole team performed like him they would have finsihed 8th. Cech is 29 fucking years old, he won't need replacing for atleast 7 years, he will be welcome competition to Cech however something Turnbull aint capable off.

I honestly do not understand the Mikel bashing. Sometimes i get the feeling unless he picks up the ball from Luiz 25 yards from Cech's goal at Old Trafford, meg's Rooney, turns Fletcher inside out for 5 minutes, moves on to Anderson turns him around and around so much he pukes, gets to Vidic outmuscles him on to the floor (fairly) then dances round Rio 100 times before lobbing De Gea to put it in the top right hand corner he is never going to get any credit. The United cl game at SW6 our midfield was all over the place, when he came on we looked a lot more balanced and our passing was better, he IMO was MOTM against Arsanal at the Bridge last season and the year before home and away and also at the Emirates when we lost 3-1 is it a coinsidence we fell apart as soon as Van Persie clattered him? Also at Old Toilet in 2010 in the title decider he was outstanding, i don't think he has beat Liverpool but Zola never beat Arsanal so that stat is pointless to use. He is without doubt a lot better than he has and probably ever will be given credit for.

Didier Drogba is 34 this season, i love Didier as much as the next Chelsea fan but at times last season our reliance on him was becoming beyond a joke, we cannot rely on him forever its time for a lesser role, how much longer can we say one last season? Fernando Torres i think will give us a big season this season, he won't repeat what happened the last 6 months because Andre quite simply will not let it happen, even that i don't think his performances and effort were as bad as some make out, ironically i think it was after his goal he started producing some real stinkers in my opinion.
