  1. This is a sad day, no more Malouda, Kalou and Anelka dominating the wings End of a era
  2. Now we need to convince Dalglish Turnbull is worth £30 million
  3. Imagine a Neymar or Hazard deal on deadline day now?
  4. Can't wait till our official site confirm it next summer
  5. We dont know that hes already ropped Drogba.
  6. 1-0 will do me fine, slow starts are better to a season, every time we start like a train (05/06 being the sole exeption) we crumble like a pack of cards.
  7. Imagine the back page headlines had he said overwise "AVB lays into players"
  8. Good review although i don't care about the performance like most others, 3 points while playing shit is suppose to be a true sign of champions. Good to see Andre ain't scared to turning things around if need be.
  9. Can we just take the batteries out for two minutes. Yes it was not the best performance but 3 fucking points, aint winning while playing shit suppose to be a true sign of champions? plus how many teams have started slow but gone on to win the league, id rather we pick up momentum then start steaming then run out of steam. Plus we hopefully have new players in, Josh, Romeu and Lukaku to start playing more and Mata hopefull (touch wood) and more coming in. Not to mention Danny's return from suspension. Last season we played some awfull football, that cannot change overnight, in 09/10 we played some of the best football the league has ever seen but we didn't go from that to awfull over the summer, we started 10/11 the same way with back to back 6-0's playing great football turned out we were just on a title rebound, but we still playe good football in September but after the Villa Park game the football gradually went down in standard then we saw the dross football from December on. So like last season Andre will have to gradually improve the standard of football as it won't just happen overnight.
  10. Jesus all the pessimism, we have Danny returning from suspension Lukaku, Romeu and hopefully Modric, Mata and with any luck more, yes we have made a slow start but could have done a lot worse. Arsenal 97/98 and 01/02 Manchester United 98/99, 02/03, 07/08, 08/09 and 10/11 Chelsea 04/05 Barcelona 08/09 and 10/11 All started slowly and uncovincinly and ended up with the league title some more. KTF FFS
  11. Course he will say that, we are keeping the cards very close to our chest since the Robinho kerfufle
  12. This the guy who flopped at Birmingham?
  13. Isn't winning when playing shit suppose to be a sign of true champions?
  14. Is Alex turning into an away player? End of last season amazing at Old Trafford then shite at home to Newcastle the next week, amazing on day one at The Brittania then shite today?
  15. Would u prefer Bebe, Bendtner, Santa Cruz or N Gog? because i wouldn't.
  16. Shit performance but the result is what counts at the end of the day, AVB managed to turn a potentially embarrising situation around. Sometime's a slow start to the season is good, it's happened with United many times and they won the league, it happened with Arsenal when they won the league in 98 and 02. Even in Jose's first season IMO we were very unconvincing until Robben was fit. With Mata in (touch wood), with any luck Modric and a couple of other aswell, Lukaku, Romeu and Sturridge to return from suspension the only way is up from here.
  17. Dont know if im on my own but im seriously worried about a upset here
  18. Not to bothered about his "natural" position but if he adds abit of flair and unpredictability to our play then thats good enough for me.
  19. Regaular starters at 18 is rare, infact since Cesc and Rooney have their been many if any Wilshere aside? We don't want to rush Josh in, look at Owen played regually as a teen as in now burntout, Rooney is showing signs that he might suffer from the same in a few years and even Wilshere is starting to show signs already:0. Cesc has been made of glass these last couple of years aswell. Iniesta was not a regualar at Barca till he was 21/22 and now they are reaping the rewards of slowly blooding him. It may be frustrating now but when Josh is in his mid 20's and dominating midfield's and Wilshere is getting silly injuries twice or maybe even three times a season we will look back and realise we developed him the right way.
  20. Di Natale time to make yourself my new hero.
  21. Well if Malouda goes he can take his fav 15, everyone's happy
  22. That's what i thought, it would be too weird seeing some-one else use that number, i can't even use that number on fifa for any player just feels wrong imo.
