I swear 606 shut down?

Good thread With Lamps there is no replacement in sight because there is no replacement anywhere, he is one of a kind we will never find a prolific goalscoring midfielder like him ever again. I think we need Modric, have him creating from deep, Ramires running box to box, and McEachran and Lampard rotating further forward, not that many goals in that midfield when Lamps is out but if Mata, Danny and Nando/Lukaku come up with their fair share it wont Mata. I am starting to think we should break the bank to sign Modders, right this second i will happily splash out £40m for him.

We should play our best young players (Josh, Romeu, Lukaku, Bertrand) with expierence and have more young players on the bench to bring on if we are comftable.

Superb as always, got to love how their number one is Ruddy and their number two is Rudd

If August was a boremter ow who would be champions this would have happened. If the league went in the August pattern till may. 10/11 Chelsea (breaking every record in the book) Actual champs: Man.Utd 09/10 Arsenal (playing amazing football and scoring over 100) Actual champs: Chelsea 08/09 Chelsea (with Scolari bringing a new wave of flair to the league) Actual champs: Man.Utd 07/08 Liverpool (Rafa finally gets it right and Torres bangs the goals to the title) Actual Champs: Man.Utd 06/07 Man.Utd (Started the season with 8 in 2) Actual Champs: Man.Utd 05/06 Chelsea (without letting in a goal all season) Actual Champs: Chelsea 04/05 Arsenal (back to back unbeaten season's) Actual champs: Chelsea I cba to go back any further but in the last 7 season's only twice has the eventual champs started the strongest, just saying.

Pressure on opponents. Better movement on the ball, there has been a few dodgy moments but all in all we are playing better stuff than last season. Subs are spot on, Andre has won us 6 points with his subs in the last 2 weeks. Better possesion, today we had 68%, previous 2 games 64%, last season we didn't get the majority off possesion half the time.

Most frustrating thing about Torres and Drogba is on paper there partnership should be the most feared in the world. They are both polar opposites in terms of their strenghts and are both world class forwards, on paper it should have got close to the Jimmy and Eidur partnership.

We didn't have a regular scoring CF in Jose's first season and look what happened there.
-
What we have to remember is the Andre affect wont go stright there, did people expect us to be playing like Barca str8 away? The changes are slowly coming into affect but it will not happen overnight, patience is a virtue in this project.

Was almost like a relief seeing some-one like Mata in the team.

Best to win awkward then not win at-all. Shit performance but who cares, have to laugh at Crokes and Savage bellitling us if that was United they would have creamed themself about their never say die spirit and how that was a true champions grind out. Anyway more important than the result im praying Drogba is ok.

Wish we would stop this who will replace Lampard because the Frank answer (excuse pun) is no-one will. Josh McEachran will be amazing for us but in a complete different way what so ever, Lamps is one of a kind we will never see a consistent goalscoring midfielder like him ever again (not in our lifetime anyway), if we try an replace Lamps like for like we will fall flat on our backsides. When you look at young players like Lukaku you think he resembles Drogba, Conor Clfford for example resembles Gerrard with leadership qualities and fantastic strike on the ball, Phil Jones resembles Terry, Romeu resembles Essien apparently, even young techinical players get compared to Iniesta and Xavi. But can you name me one young player (under 23) who you have seen and thought he is like Lampard? i know you won't have because there isn't another one, we were the club that got lucky to have him and there won't be another Lampard in our lifetime if ever.

Jimmy and Eidur did not even have to think!!!!!!!!!!!

The reason we have not had many youth players since Terry is to be quite frank they were just not cut to make the grade. Jose blooded Sinclair, Sahar and to a lesser extent Huth. Sahar was dreadfull, Huth was a donkey and Sinclair jurys out with. Scolari said his plan long term was to phase out the old players with Stoch, Kakuta etc etc only time would have told whether that would have worked. Stoch was in our plans for last season but he was not prepared to fight for his place, he prefered being the big fish in the small pond. Carlo did play more youth than all our previous managers since Vialli (not that its saying much) but i agree with TX that he missed a trick not playing them more when things were going well. then all off a sudden Kakuta got thrown in at The Emirates with the Goonies 3-0 up and the fans on our back that would harly help him, unless we came back and drew, despite a decent cameo there. I do think Andre is planning to use more when things settle down personally instead of playing them all at once and it backfiring (Newcastle 3-4 style) play them one by one, Bertrand one game, then give Josh a run out, next week PVA. Andre should focus on those 3 this season then look at the likes of Chalabah, Clifford and co next time out.

Jenny Longball has spent over £100m of John Henry's money yet are Liverpool getting slated? But rich Arsenal going on about it because if i don't recall if it weren't for their very own "sugar daddy" taking over saving them from liquadation then pumping thousands (a lot in the early 20th century) to fund their 30's dominance Tottenham fans going on is even more hilarious, they think they only reason we are better than them is because of Roman , did they watch their team play us for 13 years before Roman took over

I would be here all day if i covered everything. Its pathetic tbh the way people bang on you would think Terry was the new Fred West, funny thing is most of the people slating him have probally done similar and worse things.
-
oh dear, they should go the whole hog and give Ryan Giggs morality person of the year award.

The fucking pro north anti Chelsea media are just starting to get on my fucking nerves big time. Torres goes from their darling to their national joke just because of where he went, crucify him for his goal-less run but when Rooney went 8 months without scoring one single fucking goal from open play they kept making every excuse in the book for him, when England fail its Lampard and Terry's fault, conviently forgetting Gerrard, Ferdinand and Rooney's beyond shite performances for the same nation. I would be happy not to see a Chelsea palyer in England shirt again infact if Josh McEachran chooses Scotland my respect for him will grow about 20 times higher than it already is. Bit random but lets not even bother with the media as when the shit hits the fan they are bunch of pro north wankers.

Welcome stick around

I think we could give him a number then change it to 10 if Yossi leaves, i remember once when Lucas Neill signed for West Ham he has number 34 but then in the same window their number 2 (Tyrone Mears i think) left so Neill took that number. Unless there's been a rule change i can't see why we cannot do the same with Mata.

Im expecting a Suarezlite goal off the bench.

We are at home to Bayer of the 13th, United are away to Benfica on the 14th, massive advantage going to Old Toilet.
-
Perfect, hopefully United have a long away trip on wednesday night

Is it me or do you have a soft spot for City? anything anybody says negative about them you defend them quicker than Katy Price opens her legs. Valencia should not be a problem IMO, if we won there when they had Canazarez, Silva, Mata and Villa we should be more than capable of winning there again.
