Just got back for the first time since yesterday, i take it nothing has really gone on well well well we have finally done this, never thought ill see the day and it's still not sinking in, i was in a pub full of people smashed even before kick off the plan was being smashed eases the pain of defeat but makes the joy of victory 10 times sweater, which it did it was unreal. Bayern did have the better of the game that's a given but that fact makes this triumph even sweater, we have came across every obstacle to win this, the stutter from the group stage, that night in Nepals, 2-0 down with 10 men at the Camp Nou then a goal down with 2 minutes left in the final, it is a miracle and we got so much luck but like i said to my mate last night, the luckier the sweater, it would not have felt this good if we smashed team's 4-0 every round to the final, it would be great because we are Champs of Europe but it would never feel this good. Muller scored when i came back from the bog and i was on my knee's sipping my drink almost unbearable the thought off all that work in the previous rounds going to waste then Drogba scored and i went mental half the pub looked at me i didn't care. Then the Robben penalty i was preparing to feel the same way after Muller scored again but Cech saved it i couldn't believe it. Then the shootout Lahm scored then Mata missed i thought here we go Bayern made it 2-0 and i thought shit but then Olic had his saved by Cech and i thought could this just happen then Schweinsteiger (spelling) hit the post i didn't celebrate because i had images of John Terry in Moscow in my head, imagine that twice a kick away from winning the CL but losing both times, a record for all the wrong reason's. Up stepped Drogba i couldn't even look eyes closed looking at the table half the pub cheered (half wanted Chelsea to win half didn't) looked up and i saw that ball in the net and i collapsed to the floor. Unbelievable and i was watching the trophy presentation and everything afterwards asking every one in the pub if this is real, i half expected to wake up with it being Saturday morning and the game on later. It also means we have exacted the ultimate revenge on Barca for 2009, it would not have been revenge unless we went on to win which we have done. With all Roman's searching for the manager to win him the Champions League, he has now found him when he wasn't even looking, it was always going to end up like that weren't it Luis Garcia, Moscow, Iniesta, Overbo, Ibarra i can look back at the times you fucked us over now and say WE WON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

Please no -
A draw would have been enough in that match so Gronkjear's goal wasn't the "winner" in the CL qualification respect Desailly's header was.

This saga is like the Neymar one. At first i was excited about the prospect of signing him and as it's gone on and on its just got boring and im not too bothered now.
-
Maybe we should show fake interest in shit players then
-
I spoke to him on facebook about a week ago so he is defiantly still around. Maybe he's took a break for a while, i was barely active all of last summer and many user's have left for a while and came back (Styles, Badboy). Hell come back eventually don't worry

Apparently they are going to interview Rafa and he might just return That would just be comedy gold.

What shite timing this loan move was. Josh would have actually got some playing time under RDM with the fixture conquestion we had and not only that he would have had a FA Cup winners and at worst a CL runners up one aswell. The timing of this loan move was fucking dreadful. He would have got the winners mentality being part off an FA Cup winning squad and one that got so far in the CL instead he sat on the bench with Swansea and never played in anything over than defeats. I can't even begin to imagine the frustration he must be feeling right now.

On the Chelsea FC countdown to Munich youtube page one of the top comments is some guy saying what Desailly said should be on repeat in the dressing room to motivate the players. to be fair that is a good idea. -

RDM is under no pressure to keep his job, and what i mean is in the sense that he doesn't expect to keep it regardless of what happens in Munich tommorow. Carlo and AVB would have played "safe" and stuck Essien there or something because they were under that much pressure with their job security. What does that tell you? we should put less pressure on the managers. -

The rumours about Ryan Bertrand starting are getting stronger by the minute. Very, very bold move by Di Matteo. -

In 24 hours time we will be ecstatic, devastated or shitting our self's awaiting a penalty shootout. -
Although he is the youngest he is going have to be the leader tommorow to both Cahill and Bosingwa.

This isn't an over-reaction. This is our best chance of winning this for a good while. We are deep in a transition period and lets kid ourself's this run to the final has been riddled with luck that we wont get again, if we don't win it this season we won't be in it next season and if we get back in it the season after we will have to overcome Barca and the rest all over again and with Drogba and co likely to be gone we won't have the tools to beat them we had this season. This is not like in 2008, in 2008 don't get me wrong i was devastated but i knew this squad still had a few more shots at this in them now its the opposite. Lose this and we have blown our last chance to win this competition for a long long time, -

Didn't that happen in the 2007 FA Cup final when Cole was struggling for fitness, Carvalho was out forcing Essien into defence meaning we had to play a teenage John Obi Mikel? -
fair point about his signing and why we signed him (for the potential he had) but sometimes it doesn't always work out like that and the players role in the squad get's altered. Even tho he will never reach the potential and hype that surrounded him in 2006 their are certainly much worse back up players, like the one's i have mentioned in the last post. I would certainly not cry if we let him go for the record i think it's probably time if we can get a decent or better squad replacement but while we could have done a lot better we could have defiantly done a lot worse. Anderson at Man.Utd is another example, when he signed he was dubbed the new Ronaldinho and was expected to be one of the world's best by now, he hasn't progressed like United had hoped it's clear he never will now so Ferguson has instead used him as a decent squad option.

Working miracles with limited budget's doesn't necessarily mean you will rule the world when you have got money to play with.

There's a few noises on facebook that Ryan Bertrand is going to get the nod at left midfield. I won't read too much into it just yet but it is worth keeping your eye on. -
Lets put this in perspective here. For years Liverpool were a Fernando Torres injury away from having to make do with David N Gog up front on his own for god knows how long. If Arsenal lose Van Persie they are stuck with Marouane Chamakh who has only scored once all season long. We have to lose Drogba, Nando, Lukaku and Danny before we are 'stuck' with Kalou and im sure even the biggest Kalou haters will admit he is much better than Chamakh and N Gog. If you really want something to complain about however, ring up Owen Coyle or Arsene Wenger and see if they would swap Kalou for those players mentioned, they would bite your hand off and we would have something serious to complain about.
-
Never really got the Mikel bashing, happy he i finally starting to get the praise he deserves. You don't get into a Mourinho team as a teenager without having something about you.
-
His timing is poor, if he did it a couple of days ago Norwich could have milked Kenny for £35m.
-
The abuse Kalou gets on here is shocking. He may not be that good a player but the abuse goes beyond that and it's a joke.
