  1. Imagine if Drogba slipped taking it and we went on and lost? the jokes we would get having that happen to us twice. It was a great achievement to go unbeaten no doubt, but Wenger should have used that team as a platform to create a dynasty and domination, thankfully however he made a pigs ear of it and dismantled that team replacing them with kids.
  2. I faigly remember this, but i was only 3 so it was a bit of a blur
  3. I might be alone in this but Santiago Canizares is IMHO the best keeper i have seen (im 21), some of the stuff he pulled off was insane, i remember a crazy save from Gerrard then one from Ballack against us.
  4. We all thought AVB would give us the long term stability and sort our future for the better. Well AVB brought RDM back here, so maybe he has done just that after all.
  5. Wenger should have dominated Europe with that squad, the fact he didn't even dominate England is bewildering (not that im complaining). Im not saying Wenger's a bad manager but with the personnel he had between 2000-2005 he should have done better.
  6. @Joker10 we practically changed our whole team in the Arsenal and Newcastle matches, Meireles didn't even play the Arsenal match because he was being rested for Barca. United struggle when they change their entire starting Xl around, case in point the CL group stage exit and their defeat to Palace. Squad players like Meireles are crucial, one's that won't complain being on the bench and will do the job when called upon.
  7. Stoke away lucky??? The Brittania is probably the toughest place to visit and win outside of Manchester, really want that game out of the way early, will be delighted if we get to the Brit in August again.
  8. The way he lost his balance for the second goal
  9. Missed because i didn't know the match was on - none that has only ever happened to me once (Man.City away 06/07, walked home drunk in the 89th minute and was like oh , in my defense it was a rearranged game due to the Carling Cup final) There has been a few games ive missed this season due to social life or event's (IE Benfica away) but luckily always had atleast one mate or family member that kept me up to date with the score.
  10. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4378748/Andre-Villas-Boas-would-face-Tottenham-revolt.html I know it's only the sun but if Spurs players have been speaking to ours then there probably is some truth in it. Although then again if our players were convinced AVB would screw up Spurs, then they should have kept their gobs shut and told the Spurs players he wasn't too bad and everything was made up.
  11. Maybe Peace has just gone away for a few months? I remember Badboy (i think) left for a while and people thought he gone for good but came back out of the blue after being on safari or something.
  12. He was called Tommy10, had to clear that up as i don't want it to look like i big up Spurs
  13. 38 Premier League games 1 Community Shield 1 Super Cup 1-2 Club world Cup 1-6 Carling Cup 1-10 FA Cup 6-15 Champions League/Europa League Maximum of 73
  14. There are practically 4 town's, take the town's away and it would just be woodland's all the way to Exeter bar a few villages.
  15. I live in North Devon, and it's a 45 minute bus trip followed by a 1 hour 15 minute train ride to Exeter and getting there that's only on the edge of what we could call the rest of the country.
  16. he is obviously trolling.
  17. I have worked out that we could potentially have a maximum of 73 games next season, with the clear out we are having of first team players it is vital we keep players who are happy in their role's as squad players, which makes the decision to release Kalou bewildering. So regardless of what we think about how good they are, Meireles and Malouda have to stay on to play the squad role's, squad depth will be more important next season than it ever was before.
  18. Ive lost count of the amount of times ive lost despite superior tactics and vice versa.
  19. Don't know that much about them, but i always preferred Rangers, even back when i was little before i was even made aware of the Chelsea-Rangers connection.
  20. We should never do business with Spuds while that idiot is their chairman, in going's or out.
  21. ^^ that article from the mirror is quite possibly the worst but of journalism i have ever come across, if he is still in a job after that shite then im lost for words.
  22. There is so much wrong with that statement i don't even know why im bothering to reply. I support Torres, every Chelsea fan support's Torres, but their is a big difference between supporting a player and making excuses for him, yes he puts effort in despite poor performance's, so does Kalou yet he never seems to get that gratitude. I supported Ben Haim when he wore the Chelsea shirt, doesn't change the fact he was probably the worse defender i have seen play for us im my life, but while he played for us i supported him and hoped he would come good. Torres has been awful for us, i genuinely hope he does come good and will be delighted if he does but every time i come down to Stamford Bridge for a match it cost's me £150, train, ticket and food, more if i have to stay down West London for the night, while their picking up thousand's of pounds a week, so if i spend my money to see shite performance's im not going to be too sympathetic.
  23. Fair play to Eden if he wants to take that route. Im 21 like him and personally i don't plan to get married or have kids until i am at the very youngest 30 because i would miss the social life too much but everyone is different. Right now im happy meeting mates and getting smashed three times a week, but as i said everyone is different.
  24. lost 4-0 in the cup despite superior tactics, just goes to show that tactics are no where near as important in this game as they are made out to be, in reality they don't even touch the sides.
