He won't go this summer. Even if in Mourinho's head the jury's out (on Mata) he will atleast give him the season, like he did with Ibra. At the very, very worst he will go next summer, but still its very very unlikely just bs.

My mates who are United, Arsenal and Liverpool fans team up together when arguing about football with me, they think it winds me up where infact it has the complete opposite effect.
-
That was the exact same that was said about Torres when we signed him, he looks bored, a new challenge will get him back to his best so on and so fourth.
-
Because they were desperate, the season before Rooney single handedly kept United on our coat tails until the very end. They probably thought 250k a week would be cheaper than getting a replacement of the same calibre as-well as paying the wages. It's amazing how much power you will get when your such an important player, John Terry effectively wrote his own contract in 2009, that won't be happening this time, that is for sure.
-
I know it would just be ironic after claiming "we never forget" to Rafa and using the flags comment as a reason to never take to him if Rooney doesn't get a hard time. Because sticking two fingers up to supporters showing obvious contempt is a lot worse than making a comment about flags.
-
Given the fuss made over Rafa's comments a few years ago when he joined, it would be interesting if the fans remember when Rooney stuck two fingers up at our supporters or when he taunted the Matthew Harding stand in celebration
-
As much as i would love to jump on that bandwagon, i don't think he would have half the success against Arsenal if he was still playing for us today. They are simply just better at defending these days. Must be frustrating for the fans tho, as soon as they get their defense sorted, their wc attacking players fuck off
-
Have you seen Arsenal this season? their days of being susceptible to bruts and long ball teams are well and truly over.

Building a new "freak" team would cost millions and even then we won't be as good as 04-05. We had the best keeper in the world, the 3 best CB's in the league if not Europe and the best holding midfielder of all time. Getting a team close to that agian would cost the best part of £200m.
-
Because our 04-06 team was a freak, it was one of the most complete (and dare i say best) teams off all time. Since Jose's departure the first time we have only won the league once, and coincidentally that was when our forward was firing. Say we had Falcao or Cavani last season we would have probably been comfortably in 2nd if not challenging United despite our inbalance issue's. I take the point about the price tag pressure, but wouldn't two forwards hungry under pressure for different reason's help rather than hinder?
-
Lukaku has just been told by Mourinho he is getting a chance next season and Jose has got a track record of rotating his forwards well. Lukaku will get 20-30 appearances maybe more depending on how far we go in competition's. There's a difference between giving a player a chance and staking our entire hopes on a 20 year old, pressure like that so young can set players back.

Who else were prepared to pay 40m euro's on Javi Martinez? Who else would have payed £24m for Drogba in 2004? Their loss.
-
I didn't say no risk, ofcourse their's a risk to it, but the reward is high, Cavani and Lukaku is a combination that could take us to the next level. We seem to forget during the summer period's just how much of a squad game football this these days, striaght away we are likely to get 3 games in a week due to the Super Cup and we will need all our squad for those, especially if (as the twitter rumour suggest's) that Hull might be on monday and Vila on Wednesday. Yes the price maybe less but it's still a huge price for a DM, and Bayern fans were acting with the same caution that we are with Cavani. You say they incorporate the home grown talent, more often than not they prey on the one's at lesser German clubs when they have proved they are capable of playing at the top, Gotze and Neuer the prime examples.
-
He used the service excuse himself sometime last year didn't he? Now you can just about get over his biggest supporter doing that, but to come from the man himself.
-
Javi Martinez alone 40m euros. A lot for a defensive mid, but they saw a player who could potentially take them to the next level and he did.
-
Its not big a risk than United paying £24m on a injury phrone 29 year old, or us signing a Ivorian who has had one year at the top for (at the time) the 3rd highest transfer fee in England. I would understand if he is showing signs of decline, but he isn't. No risk, no reward.
-
Actually he was. Isco last season played 46 games, scored 12 and assisted (can't find the number can someone be kind and fill the gap) while Mata in his equivalent age season (08-09) played 47 games, scored 14 and assisted 20. Also Mata was getting linked with Liverpool at that age. To say Isco was better than Mata was at 21 is unfair and untrue, just one of them is getting more of the hype. I think Isco will become a really good player however, just how much remains to be seen.

Remember when we signed PL proven Torres over Aguero?
-
Contrary to popular belief we don't make many mistakes in letting young players go, but this was the exception. Every club does it, it's done, move on. Its no bigger a cock up than United letting Paul Pogba go, that's for sure.
-
Isn't it funny how things work. if someone told me a few years back that not long down the line Fernando Torres will be playing for Chelsea and saying he wants to stay for years to come and ill be pissed off with the news, well ......
-
Lawrenson has already started his anti Cavani campaign just incase he comes here.
-
His release clause is 53m, where is everyone getting 63 from? Is it the people who don't want him here shoving up an extra 10m on to strengthen their case
-
its 53, were is everyone getting 63 from?
-
jesus fucking christ.

Guessing your referring to Deportivo (i think that the side he hit 5 past)? i think there a lot better than these somehow
