  1. Not one that was solely down to him, no, before yesterday. Vidic (vs Sunderland), Terry (vs Arsenal), Cahill (vs Brazil), Alex (vs West Brom), Ivanovic (vs Swansea twice) on the top of my head have made mistakes just as bad as Luiz's yesterday, heck shall i mention Carvalho's back pass that threatened to hand United the title giftwrapped. I could mention plenty of other times they have made mistakes (obvious or tactical) for all them players but im too hungover to rack my brain back the last decade. Pique takes as many risk's and sometimes gets caught out, but because he plays for Barcelona that's fine apparently. Cultured defenders add something different to their game, it's in their nature to take chances and sometimes will get caught out, but what they add to the table counteract's that. Like Neville said, Is it a coincidence that the Luiz's, Pique's and Lucio's off this world have won International tournaments while the play safe hoof into row Z defenders are getting knocked out early on?
  2. Borussia will not sell those two for a combined £35m, that price might just about be good enough to get one of them. Plus if they know we have just sold Luiz for £35-40m, they will probably demand more if we go for any of their CB's.
  3. Thiago Silva aside, i can't think of any defender close to that level playing today.
  4. They didn't win their CL final tho did they? Luiz did. While you mention it Subotic and Hummels both fucked up for Robben's winner, and did you see Hummels mistake against Real Madrid that led to Ronaldo's goal? just as bad as what Luiz did today, if not worse.
  5. The Everton and Norwich goals were collective fault's were numerous players were at fault, one of them being Luiz. Everton our whole team were dragged out of position pretty much which started from one of our attacking midfielders failing to close down space and the Norwich goal was a 3 way fuck up between Ivanovic for not closing down the cross and both Terry and Luiz for getting beaten in the air (they won't be the first defenders to lose out to Van Wolfswinkel and Pilkington). You are being well, well to harsh.
  6. Im too pissed to go through list's but one example is the Villa match where both could have done better for Benteke's goal.
  7. He makes no more mistakes than Ivanovic or Cahill. The media really work wonders on some.
  8. Most of the facebook fan page user's are clueless buffon's anyway, it's like reading post's from that biite member but 10 times worse, i remember one person said a couple of years back we should start an unfit Alex for our do or die clash against Valencia in the CL to give him a farewell. What's worse is nearly 300 people liked it
  9. Eto'o has to start this one, his intelligence is vital for this, Felipe Santana will gobble up Torres (in a foot race) or Ba (in the air). I think Azpilicueta should start this one too, Mikel should start with Lamps saved for City.
  10. I could forgive 89 minutes of crap if he scores in the exception minute, to be honest, and if their is one thing Mario will guarantee it's goals. Regarding the highlighted part, he is already level with Torres in terms of PL goals in 2013.
  11. im with @Las7, Goals first and foremost. Link up play, working hard for the team and all that jazz all comes second for me. If we can find a forward who scores almost every game we would effectively be 1-0 up before kick off, that's why i would have had Mario Gomez at Chelsea in a heartbeat.
  12. Three times this season already we have took Mata off with the scores tied and gone onto win. This is a reference to how strong the squad is before any one get's precious, last season taking Mata off would have effectively handed over points to the opposition.
  13. I would take a draw here if we beat City and them again back in London.
  14. Mourinho in the last 3 games has turned two points into seven with his subs and proactive thinking. I know this is stating the obvious, but we are so lucky he has come back, i don't think that can be stated enough.
  15. Then he will be leaving to walk into Barca's. Our hand is forced with this issue, someone who has a free pass into Barca's team if he wants it, is not going to come back to 'compete' with anyone. It's decision time, we have to play him or sell him. We cannot have two world class keepers at the club, it just isn't practical.
  16. I thought he had a good game, how many times did he get dispossessed or turnover the ball? It must have been single figures, compared to Torres who often hits the 30's in that regard. He's not a long term option, but for now he should start most matches, especially at home to teams that play with a low block.
  17. As soon as i can understand Spanish i am going switch to their commentary. Every single fucking time Luiz has the ball they refereed to his earlier mistake, do they actually do that with any other player? He has a poor game, but those twats don't half try and stick the knife in, are they still bitter that he kicked the shit out of Rooney nearly 3 years ago now?
  18. No analysis or talk about his goal? Why am i not surprised.
  19. If you think that i suggest you watch a recording of our 4-1 loss at Anfield under Di Matteo.
  20. He should be our #1 until we sign a new forward, even when he is not scoring he offer's a lot to the team, the difference technically between him and Torres/Ba is ridiculous. So unless one of those two start scoring considerably more than Samuel, the Cameroonian should be leading the line because he offers more even when not scoring.
  21. Mourinho won us the point again, torn between Hazard or Eto'o for MOTM.
  22. Tony Gale co commentator for our game
  23. just when you think the media can't get any more desparate http://www.givemesport.com/392273-chelsea-linked-with-210m-bid-for-lionel-messi
  24. The worst thing about the International break's is we get stripped of midweek club football for a fortnight, something i really enjoy.
  25. We made a very big financial commitment to sign him and he let us down massively. Putting wages into account he probably cost us £20m overall and he re payed us by getting high.
