  1. No actually he did see it, we all did. This weren't like Matic were we let him go blindly, Mou acknowledged the guys a really good player, but what could we have done? he is at his best as the main man, with Eden around he wasn't getting that role anytime soon. He is half the player when he is merely a support player, if he stayed that's exactly what he would have been, it would have been selfish of us to do that, so we sold him and let him spread his wings so to speak. Im happy he's doing well however for as long as Hazard is still on our payroll, I won't be annoyed about him doing it elsewhere.
  2. For me I can get over that aspect, what does it for me is the sheer lack of respect by a few on here for a man who has given so much for this club.Look at Drogba for example, a lot of people me included didn't want him to return (as a player) this summer but the respect for the man was still there, some people here have clearly no respect for the greatest manager in the history of the club they support, which is utterly criminal.
  3. I am truly lost for words about some of the shit that has been spouted about Jose every time we get a bad result. Critisism? fine, not agreeing with his choices? fine, but atleast keep up a level of respect, my problem is I have seen Liverpool fans show Hodgson more respect that some on here (you know exactly who you are) show the best manager in the club's history. Do you think Tottenham fans would ever (or have ever) call(ed) Nicholson a coward for example? exactly.
  4. Yes but it's still hard to turn things around on little net spend, Real already had a top team with top player's so swapping one for the other isn't too difficult compared to the task Jose had. He/the board managed to sell unwanted player's for high prices and use the money to bring in player's he wanted, he inherited an absolute state of a squad and turned us into serious title contenders. Jose also has previous for this, took over at Porto with them in a mess and won 4 trophies in two years with a negative net spend.
  5. This isn't Chelsea of 2005 anymore, his net spend since return has been £36m, in this current football market that is fuck all, and has managed to turn around an unbalanced mess of a squad into title material. Would 'any' manager pull that off? not a chance, for perspective LVG got given a blank chequebook last summer and created an even bigger mess than what he inherited.
  6. Nope, Carlo gave away his tactics at Sunderland by reverting to the diamond with Kalou in the Torres role, so Kenny played 5-3-2 (3-5-2) that formation at the best of times nullifies lineups that don't use width, we had no width in our squad and using the diamond made it worse. Torres had one chance but other than that Kenny done us/Carlo an absolute kipper.
  7. We commited to that from day one. As soon as Frank and David left and Cesc come in it was obvious the main aim was too flat track bully our way to the PL title (and on that score, so far so good), we from that moment let go some big game strength. Last season we were great in big games but dropped so many silly point's and it costs us the league, the MAIN aim was to rectify that and like I said, so far so good. Tonight was horribly and in context of the one off game I think Mou fuked up, but I am more than happy with the progress we are making as a club.
  8. Carlo got out tacticked by Kenny bliming Dalglish. That's worse.
  9. Im trying to be casual because at the end of the day we are all Blues fans and we all want what's best for the club and everything and I respect that but my god some of the overreactions, jeasus. Tonight's game, for sure that is on Mou, he messed up big time, but seeing comments like he might be sacked and he's limited, im done. .......
  10. Well you are cause if Tibo saved David's header or he headed into Tibos gloves the answer would be tonight. But to answer your question Arsenal at home.
  11. And right now they are even less impressed by Ancelotti.
  12. I just can't comprehende what the absolute fuck................
  13. and was his teams in crisis during those season's. When the wheels came off with us he didn't know how to halt it and it looks like the same is happening now at Real.
  14. Mata and Cesc in the same team? Not even Brendan Rodgers is that defensively naive, any half astute manager would target our midfield, they would get the main AM to distract Matic (like Eriksen did on new years day) and overload on Cesc and Juan.
  15. That's not to mention the back log of fixtures due to Europa and going far in the FA, we didn't have a great first Xl never mind bench and he managed to juggle the squad really well and got us what we were aiming for that season. All things considered he did a very good job under the circumstances, do I like him? not particularly (have more respect for him than before mind where I couldn't stand the sight if him), did I want him full time instead of Mous return? hell no but he fulfilled his requirements for us (top 3 main aim trophy bonus) and deserves credit for that.
  16. If United are looking to oversee a transition then Ancelotti should be very far down on their list.
  17. If Madrid sign De Gea, he will likely drop to 3rd choice. If Cech leaves, then I can't think of many better keeper's to have as back up, he is also the type of keeper that you wouldn't feel nervous if he had to play a run of games for whatever reason. Although having said that he should be number 1 at Madrid ahead of Cassilas.
  18. Won both the Inter vs Chelsea games and I think the season before when they were head to head in Italy they won one each.
  19. There's an exception to every rule. Using Bale as a stick to beat Cuadrado with is like Jose rounding up our 16 year old academy players and saying Rooney and Milner were ready for PL football at 16 so why aren't you?
  20. Not only that I love how Barca is constantly brung up to defend him. Sign Jermaine Beckford or Kenywyn Jones and give either the constant chances Torres got and he would score a few some being crucial, law of averages and that, doesn't change the fact they are nowhere near good enough.
  21. He is an example of making use of whatever opportunities you get. People say KDB and Salah didn't get games to prove themselves but Kane only really had Europa, but he uses that to force his way in and get chances in the PL, then took those chances when they came. When your in a highly competitive squad and out of favour, you have to be ready to take whatever chance you get for that to change, even if it's merely the league cup at Shrewsbury.
  22. I think your exaggerating a bit, his overall play is nowhere near that bad, admittedly he has had a few shockers especially of late.At the start of the season his all round play was top class, ignoring the goals for one minute I can't think of many bad decisions he made, technically or tactically, I remember because that was the thing I was liking the most about him even before the goals. Also his off ball movement is brilliant, case in point against Arsenal when he dragged Mertesaker wide leaving Koscielny at Hazards mercy, and we were struggling in that game, without that moment Arsenal may have done what they did at The Ethiad, us breaking Arsenal down that afternoon was by no means 'a matter of when' that people made out. Then there was his goal in that game, his first touch completely took Chesney out of the picture, you don't do that with awful technique. He may not be the most pleasing on the eye footballer there's ever been, but he's a bloody good striker.
  23. That's putting it mildly. Didn't he go to Anfield last season with Chadli and Sigurdson in centre midfield? absolutely clueless.
  24. Wilmots must give him more freedom, something that at best one player gets under Jose and Eden is that one player and not even he is completely exempt from it.
  25. The whole KDB saga was because he couldn't adapt. KDB is at his best when he's the main man, and with Eden around he wasn't getting that role anytime soon. What Jose always gets right is team balance, he has his cooks (Eden and Cesc), his destroyer (Matic), his work horses (Oscar and Willian) and his personality striker (Costa).
