I agree there are better options (Freidel isn't one tho, completely past his prime and number 3 at Spurs now) but I do believe he is a good keeper who had his reputation unfairly tarnished by that WC error, and even then he made a top save to prevent England from losing at the end.

Keeper's scuff kicks all the time, we still had a lot to do after that clearance. Plus he's not brilliant but he's isn't as bad as he makes out, to add he has statistically the best game ever for a PL keeper I think for West Ham at The Emirates in 2007.

Schwarzer was average for us, well beyond his prime, if Hilario performed like Mark did in the Sunderland and Leti games (the two that derailed our season) his thread would have exploded but Schwarzer for some reason got a free pass.

Fair enough, but I was thinking more how hard he makes it for us, bar the 7-0 under Carlo and 4-0 under Rafa games vs his team's have been an awful struggle and we have had to rely on individual moment's to get results. That's why im glad we aren't going here with the title on the line (which was a legit fear in January) as it would have likely been a tortoirous night to say the least.
