Honestly i m a little surprised ... most of us were stating that we would be killing United at OT and after the match "wow atleast we came out with a point" ... I dont mind the gifted one point because i see it as United losing out on the 2 than the one earned. We were bad on all front expect for the defense which can be called as the saving grace. The so called knee jerk reaction or the frustration or the disappointment is because we are a better team in terms of personals when compared to United, we got one of the best setup in terms of players in the league when compared with anyone in the league, supposedly the best manager in the world and yet we go out to OT to play for a draw with such pathetic tactics. How are we suppose to react to that, by consoling ourselves that we earned a point as most of us have mentioned? I cant. And since last nite i have not been able to figure why didnt we play a striker, what the hell were we doing with those long balls, why no Mata, WHY THE F*** were we so defensive despite having a team which most of us dreamt of. .Vidic and Ferdindand sleep walked the entire game, De gea was bored to death in the game ... Our defensive unit were solid never the less but do u sincerely think against a better setup we would be keeping a clean sheet? Come Friday and we play a similar game, we would be murdered This reaction doesnt make me a plastic fan because i expect that we play to our potential and kill the game, i expect us to do better because we are better ....I dont expect them to win every game but i expect them to go out there and play like winners because we have a team which can do. I respect the others opinion that we earned a point but i dont agree with it because we should have got all 3 points specially against a team who had no match to our midfield and yet the opposite happened. Titles are won because of these 2 points which makes the difference in the end for which we need to start from the start.

Blab! Blab! Blab! Blab! Blab! Blab! Blab! Blab! Story of Rooney's transfer...

Double post!

Disgusting! Jose is starting to annoy already ... We should had out passed United for starters in this game but we couldnt even muster up 5 decent passes in a row ... Why do u need come up with such experimental tactics in a big game like this one? Where the hell is our attitude, did we come here to get a draw ... Mikel! I m seriously! ... No Mata in a lineup which has what 6 midfielders..... United should have won this hands down ...

F****** horrible! Pathetic off the ball .... Come on, Jose! Expected better!
-
Is this a barter system ... we take your best and gives our best ..
-
At the time when we're talking about the need of stability and creating a team which is going to win you trophies/titles, there is a possibility of the best player getting transferred to our main rival. It is not the end of the world, it is perfect recipe for disaster.
-
If Mata joins United, not sure how much goals/assists would be get or even RVP for that matter ... but i know one thing is that he would become the missing link that United so desperately are looking for. United will leap up by a couple of levels with Mata joining them exactly like they did when RVP joined .... I dont agree with Jose that u can sell a player to your rivals ...
-
Willian ahead of Oscar, De Bruyne! Seriously ... Mite as well send De Bruyne on loan in that case.
-
Jose press conference would be very interesting. Why the hell do we need Willian now, dont we already have enough quality in the midfield? Or is this a sign of things to come, with the entire Mata-Rooney swoop? Chelsea, please dont give us a shocker like last season.
-
Aston Villa have got a gold mine in Benteke.... He would be costing around 30m+ easy by the end of this season.
-
Everyone saying the 2 half was kinda of slow ... It was Jose's way of testing his team .. First half he tested his offensive which we know was fluid and good second half he tested his defense which came out good too ...
-
Not a good thing, it gave the youth a chance to fight with some of the best youth setup in Europe.
-
I guess the game against Swansea should be more of a clear indication of Rooney's future. He plays then i dont he is going any where and if he is not selected or on the bench then expect an entertaining climax to the transfer season. Till then enjoy the rumors mill ...
-
Rooney is pretty much like the Juggernaut (if u know what i mean) ... Exactly what was needed today . Suits well to Jose's philosophy, no wonder why he is after him.
-
I dont want Luiz to be sold purely because one it is Barca and secondly in the bid to go on the top we should not give the impression to anyone that they can just come in and buy our players.
-
Thats to be seen!

For all those who doubt this transfer, i believe this is a transfer pretty much similar to one of RVP last season. The difference between winning the league and losing it on point difference. Rooney has weight issues, he has handed transfer for a better package,he is this, he is that ... For me end of the day he gets u 20+ goals a season, is a fighter when he takes the field and more importantly if he joins us means he is taking away that 20+ goals from United and adding into our kitty. For me this out weighs all the cons that has been said and told... But i think United are not as stupid as Arsenal to let him go to us they would rather let him rot in the reverses or ship him out, if this deal is happening i m going to have a blast laughing at my United mates...

Not sure if u have watched the Roman Abramovich's Documentary, in that Ron Harris is interviewed and he states that when Roman took over one of the first things he did was that he called the Ron Harris and offered him the hospitality job and he has been there since then ... Just a FYI

Chelsea FC sign 18-year-old Stipe Perica
coolhead23 replied to coolhead23's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Seriously, mate. We are talking about a Top 10 Club, amazing sets of players both in the senior side and youth teams, great infrastructure surely among the best, good coaches at youth levels, playing in almost every competition not in only in England but also Europe ... What more can a young player can ask for specially when he is in his development phase. Us playing quite a few tournaments from this season and with less quality up front he would provide competitions for place up front. If he develop well that a bonus and another point in the scouting team's hat else he can always be sold out for profit. This would be a win-win situation for the club I like what Chelsea is doing, the intention is to win things at every level which is really good. I dont see him go on loan right away rather more of a player to strengthen the youth side .. Thats my belief ... I hope he does well ... -
STIPE PERICA SIGNS Chelsea Football Club has today (Thursday) completed the signing of Stipe Perica. The 18-year-old striker moves to Stamford Bridge from NK Zadar in the Croatian top flight. Perica [pictured centre] made his debut for Zadar in September 2012, and since then has gone on to make 23 appearances, scoring 10 goals. He was part of the Croatia side eliminated at the knockout stages of the recent Under-20 World Cup in Turkey, where he made three appearances and scored one goal. http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3334691/title/stipe-perica-signs @Mods: Not sure where to put this, it is news out of the blue

This is a little baffling, why a new contract when you have Schwarzer and Blackburn plus we let go of Turnbull (not that he was good). I guess we need one such decision to happen every season.
