  1. Ivanovic/Terry Luiz/Cahill Fellani/Romeu Ramiers/Oscar Reus/KDB Rooney/Lukaku
  2. Well i m sure we all would have different opinion about Rooney in some way or the other .... But comparing him with so many world class players playing in different positions speaks volume on how versatile he is .... I wouldnt get into the argument if he is world class or not ... what i think is that in Rooney, u get a player who would give more than 100% to the jersey he is wearing and is a very good team player ... He has some skills in his arsenal which is a boon to any top manager ...
  3. Report: Chelsea, Vitesse agree on Marco van Ginkel transfer fee Morning has broken in the Netherlands and along with it, the news. -Source: De Telegraaf Google translate is having a few issues with that specific website, but the gist of it is that Chelsea have had a bid of €8.5m accepted by Vitesse Arnhem. Another source reports that Chelsea's bid beat out a competing offer from Ajax Amsterdam, which was in the range of €7m. Chelsea rule! -Source: De Telegraaf While the clubs have apparently agreed on a transfer fee, personal terms between the 20-year-old and Chelsea remain unsettled. Although I'm sure that's just a matter of time. -Source: De Telegraaf It seems that the hangup in the personal terms may be over weather the midfielder spends another year at Vitesse (on loan) or if he joins up with Chelsea this summer. Regardless, if these reports are true - and after getting stung by the Lazar Markovic business yesterday, we're making this a bigger "if" than we would normally - then it looks like we're about to finally make our first official signing of the summer transfer window. I included all the Dutch text in case one of the WAGNH Dutch contingent wants to give us a proper translation. But I think we've captured the essence of the business and the essence of the business is excellent news. 4. Well written article ... I wasnt really expecting fireworks ... I believe this was a pretty intelligent approach for his first press conference and if you notice this was more Chelsea speaking than Jose expect for the Barca and Madrid comments ... I m here to be for long as compared to last time .... StabilityIt would be a new approach (attacking kind) unlike his traditional style ... Style of playingNeed to built a team from the resources on hand rather than spending lavishly ..... Try to be independent ..I m indeed the happy one because right now in the premier league there is no one to oppose him (No Fergie, No Manchini, No Rafa) .... This was Jose all the way He had mentioned in one of the documentary that ... For a top level Manager, you need to evolve as a manager to stay at the top ..... And i really hope that this is a matured Jose talking ... If so, then I m sure we are in safe hands and sure to be a powerhouse in the coming future ...
  5. 34 millions! WTbloodyF! .... And people said we were crazy to spend 32m on Hazard ....
  6. These! pretty much sums up the answer to the topic. Yes we r a confused bunch when it comes to buying new talents specially without the consent of a steady manager.... but would we be having one in the near future so that we wait and then built a roadmap?..... And let's face it football is big money today so in order to generate additional revenues this seems pretty much a solution. Something about having an adverse effect on youngsters, this is just a way of saying... Welcome to the big bad world of football... convert your talents / potentials into performances else .... As someone pointed the best would perform and it's those who would make the cut rest might just make us money... P.S. yes at times we mite miss out a good player who could have been a part of the team but i guess that's the risk.
  7. This is called exploiting our hopes which we have pinned on u for the latest breaking news
  8. I liked this statement .... Looks like Malouda had been hiding from him all along
  9. Though it is pretty much mutual but i would say that now Mourinho needs Chelsea more for his revival .... There has been too much of shit that has happened with him in the last few months ... it has to be erased ..
  10. Yes ... still hate him .... maybe it has come down a little and he gets the due credit he deserves for the Europa and the top 4 finish but thats doesnt bring down the hate for him ...
  11. News gathering pace ... It on Sky too ... http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8713660/Frank-Lampard-reportedly-agrees-new-one-year-deal-at-Chelsea I hope it comes true .... please! Please! PLEASE! ...
  12. Arsenal without doubt .... they have made a Cup out of qualifying in CL .... The only thing they are proud of right now ... would like to see that end ... Out of CL means the revenue supply line gets cut and then on u know the disadvantages. .... I hoped and prayed a lot last nite but Wigan (GRRRRRRRRRR!) couldnt answer my prayers. Newcastle really doesnt have anything to play for on Sunday so i would have to wait for another year
  13. As much as i want him here and there are more Pros than Cons of getting him here (for me he is a complete player) .... This move wouldnt materialize because United are no Arsenal! U dont sell off your best player to your rivals and specially after seeing what RVP has done they wouldnt want that with Rooney.
  14. Would take in Rooney any day even though he is a c***, but easily among the best players in England, versatile, can shoulder responsibility (After Fergie if there was anyone who has taken United forward it is this man) and a massive player. But if Rooney would be going then it wouldnt be to any Premier league, thats for sure else he would get murdered by United fans...
  15. I respect your opinion but i would not agree on it completely. These are purely numbers which has been created and complied in a way which provides what the managers have been doing for the last 3 years. Now whether Moyes would have played a certain formation or not is very subjective at this point of time. But the person has taken the last 3 year compilation and have come up with a good stats of all the top manager, U can never get accurate projections, In my opinion, If your an analytical guy you would understand these forecast more than anyone else.
  16. Brilliant article with lot of stats thrown in (courtesy: TheChels, net). It gives us a detailed insights of who's who, strengths, weakness, what does the manager bring to the table, etc of most of the top managers. A must read for everyone to be honest, not just Chelsea fans. http://www.thechels.co.uk/4227-chelseas-next-manager-a-statistical-analysis/?utm_campaign=twitter&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitter
  17. NEW DEAL FOR DEFENDER KANE Chelsea Academy product Todd Kane has signed a new contract which keeps him at the club until 2016. The right-back was a member of our Under-21 squad this season until he went on loan to Blackburn Rovers, a move extended last week until the end of the Championship season. He has so far made 12 appearances for the Lancashire club. Kane has yet to make his Chelsea first team debut but he was a member of our reserve squad that won the 2011 national league, and was an integral member of our FA Youth Cup-winning side last season. Prior to his loan to Blackburn, the 19-year-old played five games this season on loan at League One Preston North End. Quick, strong in the tackle and a genuine goal threat when shooting from distance (as can be seen in the video above), Kane has been with Chelsea since Under-8s and is an England Under-19 international. http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3156350/title/new-deal-for-defender-kane
  18. Lewandowski's market rate just went up after last nite's performance ... another couple of performance at the highest level and i m sure his transfer would touch to that of Falcao despite having a year left on his contract.... Would had been a perfect signing for Chelsea but we are more concerned in bring Schurrle .....
  19. Made my night to see Bayern rap Barca ... Love to see Barca get beaten in any way but last night was just superb. Keep on the good work Bayern against them in the next leg too.
  20. Re-union week for quite a few during the Liverpool-Chelsea match this Sunday. Sturridge (ex Chelsea player) and Brenden Rogers (former Chelsea head youth coach) will meet Chelsea who would have Torres, Benayoun (ex Liverpool players) along with Rafa (former Liverpool coach). Quite a re-union. For once Rafa mite think he is playing at home.
