Would u go and sign a player for what 60-70m and let go off your best player who could match those heights? If that was the case, City should have won the league title almost 3 times now because they have the best team on paper!
-
So your saying everytime there is a better player just go him and keep upsetting the balance/chemistry every now and then .... This is not FIFA13, this is real life ... it takes time to set up a team and very ease to break it ...
-
Whats wrong with u guys ... why the hell do u want to sell off one of your best player .... We dont see our best in the market!
-
It would be rather stupid on our part to let go of Mata in the place, you dont let your best players go else it sends out the wrong message to everyone. Imagine if we get someone who has the potential of replacing Oscar in the next 2 years, then we would have to sell off Oscar as well or Hazard for that matter ...

Not known .. i dont want to believe tho ...

Radio Marca in Spain says Chelsea have rejected a £25m bid for Juan Mata.

I m not worried abt who's coming in but who would be going out...

Really liked the way Liverpool played against United, pretty much the way we should have. ... playing to your strengths. ....

Chelsea still looking to strengthen squad, says Ron Gourlay

Rooney or bust was the war cry a month back yet we have now acquired 3 players including much needed striker. .... I guess it would be difficult to pick sides -
because business r done on working days and Sat-Sun mostly is a business off day hence I believe it was shifted to the next working day
-
your kidding, right? because an invisible player cannot be a deciding influence anytime ... It's all about the wrongs and not the right!
-
Ya .. Correct! My bad!
-
Starting to have a bad feeling about the entire Mata situation now especially after last night game ... A situation which we couldnt even imagine last season ... from a messiah, from a would be legend, integral player, long term idol to a bench warmer? Damn Scary!
-
Yupie ... Mikel in ... Next Essien get ready ... Terry next ...
-
I m glad we took advantage of the situation and didnt let it go by. Never had high hopes (would have jump in joy if we could have) because United are not stupid as Arsenal but i m really happy that we didnt let go the chance .... We have E'to now, i m sure this doesnt end here we will be back in Jan

FULL INTERVIEW WITH WILLIAN Chelsea new signing talks about moveChelsea completed the signing of Willian for £32million on Wednesday and the Brazilian gave his first full interview as a Blues player. Below you can read the full transcript from his first ever interview as a Premier League player. What does it feel like to be a Chelsea player? I've always been following Chelsea and every time I came to London I would try to see a Chelsea game and see how the team was doing because it's been my dream to come to play here. Finally it's become a reality, and when the offer came I never gave a thought to anybody else, I said to myself that I would run here, and I'm happy to be here now. Chelsea was always my first choice. You must be looking forward to working under one of the best managers in the game? Absolutely, it's going to be an immense pleasure to work with Jose Mourinho, listen to him and learn from him. I'm sure I'm going to grow as a professional and I'm looking forward to training. He's one of the best coaches in the world with everything he's won. I'm sure I'm going to learn a lot and improve a lot. Have you had a chance to speak to Jose Mourinho about what is expected of you? I've had a quick chat with him, he welcomed me to the club and told me he was happy that I was here. He told me to work hard. He said we have a very strong team but when you work hard there are rewards. You have played in Russia, Ukraine and Brazil, but how familiar are you with the Premier League? I've always followed the Premier League on the television and I've always had a desire to play in England because it's one of the best leagues in the world. I've seen some games live and I've been to the stadiums. It's a different league but I'm really looking forward to getting started. Chelsea fans will remember you for the two goals you scored at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League last season, but how would you describe your style of play? My style is that I like to dribble a lot and play with speed. I like to accelerate very fast with the ball. I'm also quite technical, I like to shoot at goal but I've also learnt to defend, which is something you have to do to help the team. You have an impressive record in the Champions League, scoring nine goals in 34 appearances. What is your favourite memory from playing in the competition? The most beautiful goal I scored in the Champions League was for Shakhtar against Roma in a 3-0 win in 2011. I've scored memorable goals in other competitions as well but in the Champions League I would choose that one. As well as Chelsea, you've also played against Arsenal, Tottenham, Fulham and Newcastle in the past. How do you remember your matches against English opposition? It was a great experience because English teams are very difficult to play against and each one has their own qualities. I remember losing against Fulham with Shakhtar, and we also lost 3-2 to Chelsea last season, but they were good experiences and I enjoyed the games. At Shakhtar you won a number of trophies, including the Ukrainian title, Ukrainian Cup and UEFA Cup. How do you think that winning mentality will help you at a club which have become accustomed to success? It will help me because every player has a wish to win everything they are competing for. I've won a lot of trophies in Ukraine, which is a wonderful feeling, but Chelsea are a great club who are used to winning trophies. My aim is to help Chelsea keep this winning mentality and to win as many trophies as we can. All we want is to win trophies and be successful. What are your aims for the season, both on an individual and collective level? I intend to help the team as much as I can in order to be successful. I want to train hard, work hard and give everything to earn my place in the side. This is a very strong team with great players. I hope I am going to start matches very strongly and help the team do the best we can, whether that's through scoring goals, creating chances or defending. I'm sure with the squad we have we will have a great season ahead of us with many trophies to come. With the World Cup in your home country to come at the end of the season, are you hoping your performances for Chelsea can help you earn a place in the Brazil squad? That is definitely another aim of mine, to win my place in the squad and go to the World Cup. I will have to work hard for Chelsea to show what I am capable of, and I'm sure if I do that I will have the opportunity to be called up by the national team as a consequence. That applies to every player; if you work hard and perform well for your club, you will get those opportunities, and if the chance arrives I want to be ready to take it with both hands.

It should be on Ten Sports .. they have shown it for a couple of years now ... so i guess it would be there this time too
-
That your opinion and i respect that ... but do i agree with u, No i dont ... just like u dont with me ... The think is your being defensive about the game play and i m being very critical ... U wouldnt bulge from your stand and i wouldnt from mine ... this would end up in arguments and finger pointing as it has already happened... So u be happy with that the one point earned while let me be critical with the one point gifted.

There is difference in adjusting your game play and being totally negative, playing to your strength and focusing more on other's tactics. I m not saying just go all out ... i m saying u play to your strength and not restore to negative tactics ... u need to play your game! The reason United were defensive at the start but they did open up their game and won it eventually despite being the second best, Are u going to deploy such negative tactics against all the team who would be countering ... I m not getting bothered by the pundits and analysts, i just took their reference because u bought them up ... I have been a Blues fan for the last 15 years and would remains one no matter what happens ... As a fan i have my opinions and judgement and based on it I didnt find my team delivering to our standards, so i have the right to be frustrated and angry with the same. How were playing to our strengths? By deploying negative tactics, by playing long balls in the hope that something happens, We didnt even have 5 proper pass in a row ... Vidic, Ferdinand, De gea slept for most of the game they didnt even come into play... Where the hell the analysts have come into play here ... U know Mourinhos style, good for u ... I didnt agree with it .. simple and sweet! And Atleast u can see me in the crowd being after my team, supporting it and criticizing when needed unlike people who would just close their eyes and assuming everything is hanky ponky because we have recruited Jose... I repeat .. U r happy with a point, i respect that where as i m not happy with it ... now if u dont understand that, i m sorry i cant help it ... so lets stop categorizing!
-
Why not? U have a squad which is better than there's ... so why wouldnt u not take the fight to them ... it is not only about making a statement, it is about getting 3 points ... U think United would come and play a defensive game at the Bridge? Despite the fact they were bad we were trying to be better than them in being worse... The tactics and the team selection could had been simple in order to keep us in the pole positions to win and i m not the only one saying it ... Most of the analysts and pandits were baffled with the selection and game play, most of the United fans were scared that Chelsea would get the better of them (it is a different story that they are laughing it out after the match) .... Attack is the best form of defense specially when your equipped will the tools ... United have being doing that without proper tool i dont see why we could not have and play such a negative game ... U need to play the game to your strength, thats what champions do!
-
Ignorant? r u kidding me ... In all the past record United had Fergie as the master mind which is not the case now ... we have a better setup than what we had so why ponder on what happ in the past, r we going to play the defense game because of what happened in the past and continue that way, huh! Or are we going to step up and take the champions in their own den to make a statement. Anyways, like i said u think a point is good whereas i dont because i expect more from my team ... simple as that!
-
Firstly tell me how he was right? Every one has been saying that to win the title we are a striker away yet we didnt play one yest ... U think Schrulle/Hazard/Oscar did a decent job, they were lost at times... we were more like headless chicken ... Coming to the CHAMPIONS of England, just because they are champions would u give them that much respect? .. Do u want Chelsea to be the champions again or not? These are games which makes the difference. United hasnt got a better side than ours i sure u agree with it, so why the hell be so defensive and scared. I dont get it .. so as per u we didnt wanted to control the game we just wanted to man mark players and keep falling back? Mata could have controlled the game and would have created options up ahead for goals and counter could have been tackled by our defense (each counter would get u goals) and honestly i would rather control the game than worry about the counters. And yes i think Mata could have man marked Carrick. I keep saying with this team we shouldnt be aiming for a draw but to win because that what Champions do ... rest your happy with a point, i m not ...
-
I dont know abt all u guys, but i wanted to punch Jose right on his face when he was giving his post match interview ... He got it all wrong and thats simple as it can be ... If this was Rafa we would have raped him till now but just because it is Jose we are like blinded. He wants to use Mata on the right, a player who pulled the strings in the middle for almost the last 2 seasons, a player who makes everyone look better around him is the one who will play on the right. Hell ya!
