Apart from Hazard we pretty much had the entire squad! Soaking up the pressure is what we do in pretty much every big game, yest was no different and that is surely no Masterclass!!!!!! RDM won us the CL on the same!!! .... Schurrle did come in the second to defend not to attack .... Being so defensive could go against us ... all they need to do is score a goal and the pressure is on us then they will play the "19th Century" football and we will cry!

Everyone has being saying good result, we defended well, etc,etc... But how is 0-0 a good result going in a home leg? They can defend and can defend really well (that we all know), all they need is a goal and we need to score 2 to win! Plus we never attacked so most of the time we soaked the pressure and we are good at that .... It is difficult to make us specially when we stay deep. Anyways, i hope we win at the Bridge ... For me the performance was just another day in the office where we maintain our standards in the back..

I never said mentioned that he would be the first or second striker however from the pool of resources we have he is surely a good bet as a third striker. And as far as the push or the step up goes, U can do good where u r so if he is playing in the championship and doing well he can be provided the chance to showcase himself. because we keep talking abt the step up he would never get a chance at all if we dont give him a chance. Anyways i m sure he would never get a chance at all out here but that is a different story altogether.

So as per u what does he needs to do to get into the first team? because he shouldnt be getting a chance on his current form. For me, he is doing what a striker should be doing which is scoring goals and clearly better than our strikers. From the current pool of resources we have, doesnt that warranty him game time! While we can feed a Torres for not being a striker but we cant give some game time to one who is actually doing his job! That is even more ludicrous!

Costa as he fits perfectly to Jose's style plus he not that expensive. Lukaka and Bamford as the second and third.

Unfortunately that the first which comes to my mind. I thought we were more dynamic last season, yes it needed tweaking but we were on our way to be called a team which was more aggressive. Today whether it is 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, we look the same in our approach. 3-5-2 is mainly when we are already behind, it is more of a forced step (can we actually implement it right from the start, No!). I dont understand why dont we kill the game when we have the resources. Look at Madrid's game last nite (yes they have the best in the world) they didnt get into a shell after they hit a goal, they demolished their opponent in their own back yard.

Kevin and Mata never came from the academy! Yes we made money on Mata but we actually lost on a very good player who could have provided a different angle to our existing setup.

Honestly whats there not to understand. Mou is pretty uni-directional in his approach. U have the early goal, get into the shell. I dont see we playing free flowing, aggressive football under Jose. Sometime I just wonder what happened to that 25 mins that we played against Hull City (very first match of the season), could we ever get to see that under Jose.

Lets keeping spending money season after season,what is the point in having an acdemeny! Chalobah was one of the best player last season,Bramford is decent for a 3rd Option and is too good when compared to our present strikers. Not sure how Ake and Traore are better despite not playing much. If we are not going to give them a stable platform majority of the time they would end up as being average. Every big team today has some or the other youth players from their acdamey getting a shot expect Chelsea and City. Why? because we just want to buy buy and buy and deem most of the youth players as average. We got big daddy, so let play FIFA14.

I m not hell bent on Costa but looking at the current situation, we would be moving for him thats what i feel. I dont mind any other decent striker because clearly we dont have one. My argument is that priority should be a striker and then LB (Shaw) and then if we really need then a CM again i m more in favor of giving our youth a chance than getting players from outside. I very much against the whole Buy, Buy, Buy kind of thing specially when we have some good potentials in the academy. P.S. If we make 30m from the sales of torres, ba, moses, marin, kakuta, mikel, bertrand, I would be more than happy because we mite have to pay clubs to buy a couple from this list

Idealistic!!!! Hahahah .. nice term. Chelsea is crying for a striker at the moment, taking Kroos over a striker wouldnt be a good option. As far the world class one goes, I believe the one who we will be going after would be Costa and i m sure he is 2 times better than our existing strike force combined together. Costa and Lukaku and get in Bramford (not sure what more does he needs to do to get in) as the 3rd Striker.

I hope Mikel is shipped out in the summer. If we sign Lampard then we would have Matic, Ramiers, Lampard, MVG already ... intergrate Chalobah in the first side and we have 5 players for the 2 positions. Matic can be the wall while we can rotate MVG and Chalobah to see what they can bring to the side. Would spend the money on a striker and LB (Shaw) if possible rather than a CM.

That was more of sarcasm (i might not be good with it). TBH not really interested in know how and from where he scored that many, he has not turn up even since he was bought from Liverpool.
