Was Evra's foul on Ramires a penalty?
spuz replied to FootballFarrago's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
You mean red card? He shouldn't be playing tonight. The funny thing is Evra thinks he got the ball whilst Fergie kept quiet and said it's about time they got decisions against us. Totally ignoring the fact that Torres already should have a goal for us against them in the league game. -
I love the long sleeve home kit,one of the best i've seen. This season's kit will go down as a cursed kit just like the collar one.
-
I still keep thinking we can do this. I want them to take the lead and us to play awful then after 70 mins. Torres and Benayoun come on and totally change the game with Torres getting 4. That's my dream scenario anyway. I still can't help but feel we'll all be on a downer tomorrow. There must be a god of averages out there, despite what Fergie says it's actually them that's had the decisions against us this season and last season they had it there way too. What with the Macheda handball and Neville giving away a certain penalty. If that god is listening.please even it up,or for once just stop giving them ridiculous decisions then we can beat them fair and square.
-
I like 'em. Atleast there's no horrible red in it or collars.
-
Never heard of Tom Jones? It's just a saying.
-
I still have a hatred for them (no offence) even though they're in the championship now. However they should be in the PL ahead of the likes of Blackppol and Wigan. Just shows you how quickly things change in football.
-
Haha. I'm surprised Fergie didn't try and get him banned or something. Be nice if the story was similar tomorrow. We win and dominate but Fergie claims otherwise.
-
I have to admit the only championship result I'll look for is Leeds in a hope that they've lost. Results I look for in hope they've lost; Man U Arse Liverpool Spurs Leeds Grimsby Hull Barcelona
-
Apart from Chelsea I don't watch any at all,I used to watch loads but not anymore. I'll even pick and choose world cup games now a days.I'll watch Barca though if they're on ITV normally knocking the arse out. The only other result I'll look for in football is the mighty imps.
-
I remember a victory around that time (could be the same one) where we dominated them and Fergie said they were the better team,i was just stunned as to how deluded he can be. If we win tomorrow,he won't go quietly. It'll be the ref or his side deserved to win or some shit from the bitter old man.
-
Why are they (the media) making out Man u already have the league wrapped up? They're making out the arse are too far behind even though they had 2 games in hand. Second question, how many neutrals will be supporting us tomorrow? Every Man city fan for a start. How many scousers are going to be secrety cheering and hoping for Torres to get a few goals? Come on El nino the whole of Liverpool are behind you really and they still wish you played for them, they like to kid themselves into thinking Carrol was a £35m bargain. It's do or die tomorrow for Torres and the team in general.
-
That Torres penalty, he looked distraught when it didn't go in. That was some mickey mouse friendly, what would he be liked if he missed one for us in the CL?
-
I've thought of a few points; We need 2 early goals then atleast that will then rule out penalties. Our away form isn't the best, away in the champions league is even worse (over the years). Manure haven't lost at home this season. There's only 4 occassions this season where we've won away and kept a clean sheet; Copenhagen, Bolton ,Spartak Moscow, Wigan.
-
So at the moment based on form it should be Kalou and Sturridge playing with Anelka and Drogba on the bench and Torres not even getting into the squad.
-
I'll settle for Michelle Keegan then.
-
Berbatov offside today. When you come on here and update every dodgy decision they get then it really shows just how much luck and refs help they have. Astonishing amount of big decisions this past week alone in their last 3 games. Unfortunately I don't think it will end there,Tuesday will be their next big one or two or how ever many they require to unfairly beat us.
-
Scott Sinclair?? Rosie webster has corrupted him.
-
Fabregas and Nasri are both nearly 24, they're only teenagers.
-
Evra said he got the ball.
-
Whinger is still at it,trying to make out he's done well to finish trophyless again. And is 24 years old in May and June really that young? He's great at trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes I'll give him that. He had this to say; "It is important we realise this team is absolutely amazing for what they do at their age. One day people will understand that, but at the moment, I am not sure many people do."<BR itxtNodeId="113">He added: "It doesn't hurt me personally, but it bothers me that the players do not get the recognition for what they have put in since the start of the season. "How old is Wilshere? 19. It looks like in England you cannot play without him. How old is Fabregas? How old is Nasri?"

"We get dud ref decisions every year in the Champions League"
spuz replied to Term-X's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Remember Vidic last week being last man and bringing down a player? Remember Vidic last year against Villa in the mickey mouse cup being last man and bringing down a player (milner I think) and only getting a yellow? Now Fergie or any manc tell me you don't get decisions. On a positive note I love groundhog day the film. -
Walcott? No we don't have him thank god. Of course we have options for more than one system. Carlo seems very confident he'll be here next year anyway, even if we lose Tuesday.
-
I remember reading a paper when we first signed Gigi and in it he said he couldn't remember the last time he scored a goal. Filled me with confidence straight away.
-
I just saw him on Sky sports earlier defending Rooney about the swearing. What happens when he's commentating on a anure game and they concede? Will he have his little hissy fit like he did when Rooney missed against us in the league game? What the likes of Fergie,Rio and Neville don't understand is Rooney swore directly at the camera, big difference to swearing on the pitch in general.

Don't forget that Ramires is being pushed out wide,he more than deserves to start in the middle over lamps and Essien. Go on then, please explain. And don't forget I did say experimental against Wigan (in bold, just incase some numb nuts didn''t see it).
