I said earlier wait until the summer then assess who's available. Ray is clearly a big miss because we've been clueless without him. Why do you think Carlo wants to stay so much if you think Roman is interfering all the time?
We were in for Torres in the summer too. Why didn't carlo tell Roman to save his £50m because he can devcelop Sturridge. Why does Carlo seemingly want to stay on if Roman interferes so much?
Guus isn't my first choice, but i'd rather him over Carlo. What kind of players was he managing at the time when he got the sack though? If you look at his record in Spain it's not great so maybe he deserved the sack. Why can't Carlo see the obvious that most on here can see if he's such a great coach? Maybe it's like Carlo said that he couldn't have won the double without Ray. Maybe Ray was the brains behind it all and now Carlo is being exposed.
Mancini will lead City to their highest league finish for a long time. Carlo could well lead us to our lowest points total for a long time,he's already lost us the most amount of games in a single season in a long time.
The manager who only won 1 league title in 10 years in Serie A is very poor at Chelsea. And despite being 2 years into the job still makes awful team selections and subs and can't motivate.
For that one I'm gonna say yes. And what's more is Fergie would have him scoring and playing in his best position too. The look on Kalou's face last night when he was about to come on said it all. If we signed Hernandez last summer I think he'd be at Wigan now on loan after a few sub appearances.
You explain why a double manager has been so awful this season. And why he should keep his job, without using the word 'stability' in the sentence. So Carlo never bothered with the league then? Not very professional is it? With Mancini and Carlo maybe it's proving that they just aren't good enough or the Italian league is weak.
Yes I remeber just last week the lazy Lampard just looking useless in midfield, now who's job is it to drop him? Too late now anyway as I meant drop him for the second leg. What about 10 years in Italy and only one league title? Do we have to put up with 8 more years of him now before we win the league again?
What's more ridiculous is keeping an awful manager for the sake of not paying up one year left on his contract. Or keeping him for the sake of 'stability'. Motivate? That rules Carlo out then i'm afraid.
If guus is without a club and only a stop gap it won't cost much,it's when you're paying off shit managers on big contracts like Fat phil and Grant plus all their staff is when it adds up.
Here's a stat for you; (not that I'm saying bring Mourinho back) Jose for CFC ; 185 games played lost 18 Carlo for CFC: 102 games played lost 20 (might now be 21) Now that is scary.
:goodpost: If he stays we'll win nothing next year no matter who we sign. People blame malaria,Wilkins ,Torres ,injuries etc What does any of that have to do with last night? They were all months ago and cannot mask over Carlo's awful management. Unless Roman told Carlo to stick with essien and Lamps in the middle, take Torres off at half time and bring Ferreira on to win us the game he doesn't have a leg to stand on. We need to get to the summer first then we'll know who's available. You keep blaming Roman, who do you have in mind to replace him then?
I agree with you about carlo's awful league record. Roman made a mistake in hiring him in the first place. It's Roman's inability to pick decent managers that keeps costing us time and money. We need to get this next one right.
How would Carlo get on managing the likes of Park,Giggs,Fletcher,Carrick, £6m nobody Hernandez ,Berbatov,O'shea etc. Would he lead them to the brink of a treble? Let me guess the answer you can't compare Carlo to Fergie.
