I have to admit that Carlo has won me over slghtly in the past few weeks (more importantly he's won Roman over for the short term for now) It took him along time but he finally realised what was needed , however he is still learning and for a 51 yr old that's not good. e.g. Just this weekend when subbing Torres. And despite having umpteen amount of games this season the likes of Josh and co. have not seen much playing time. I'll stand by my views of we shouldn't have got him in the first place,it was a risk with him winning only 1 league title in 10 years with Milan and Juve. And I still stand by last season was very fortunate and we could have easily finished empty handed. So for the record if he wins us the CL and PL,I still have no worries about Roman getting rid or him leaving for Roma. We can find better (please no more Italians). Overall verdict: A lovely man,quiet and doesn't bring the dramas of Mourinho.Which I like. Never bad mouthed a ref,or blamed a linesman for a loss,unlike other poor loser managers. Still learning his trade. Doesn't give youth much of a chance. Takes a while to click on that something isn't working. Some very pointless subs for which I think he's finally realising. God if only he did that every week,with his pace it's been a real waste,shame. Saying that,injuries were never kind to him. Whenever I think of Gronks I always automatically think back to that game,thinking we'd signed someone better than Giggs and Overmars put together. In the report it says it was his full debut. Not a bad start,I remember someone I worked with at the time telling me how fast he was. I think dutch football used to be on channel 4 or 5 at stupid o'clock in the morning and he used to watch it all. Anyway,I'm confident Luiz won't do a Gronkjaer. Luiz has already played more good games in his 1 month than Gronks did in 4 years.

I hope he keeps up this level of play. I remember one of Gronkjaer's first games for us,I don't think it was his debut. He scored 2 and hit the post or bar twice,I think it was against lower league oppo. in the FA cup but still he looked like the dogs. I thought we'd signed the best player in the world at the time and i'm not joking when I say that either. Shame he never kept that up,but also I blame Ranieri for not keeping him on the left wing. Here's hoping Luiz isn't just a flash in the pan.

Personally I'd ban all flags and banners. I think all fans should wear blue (preferably the home shirt) when at home,and concentrate more on singing,cheering and booing the oppo players and ref. Get back to basics of being a fan.
