I'd love nothing more than to see that fat shrek along with Fabregas,Gerrard,Carragher,Bellamy,Van persie (plus many more) poked with hot irons and stun guns for a day or two,then lose all their money,made homeless and have to sell big issues whilst being spat on in the street.

    I'm not. Now please tell me how Carlo's CV is with youngsters,and how well he's brought on Kakuta,Sturridge,Bruma,Van aanholt and Josh this season. It's mainly the club,but Carlo is just as bad.

    I think we could have actually done with kakuta this season. We could have played him on the right and shifted Ramires in he middle then. Or played Kakuta on the left and dropped Malouda. Never mind,one day we'll learn.

    We better seriously try tonight. No screw ups from Carlo regarding team/formation selction or subs,play Torres the full 90 mins. We've got no excuses,we better just go for it. Tomorrow,I don't want to be saying " Well 0-0 isn't a bad result" Or " We're only losing 1-0 with all to play for in the scond leg" None of that shit please,I remember being in these positions against Luckypool in the past.

    They won't. Who was the last one to make it with us exactly? The odds are not good of a youngster making it with us. With carlo here,even less chance, if we buy players in the summer even less of a chance and if they're loaned out all season again even less chance still. I'm not too bothered,it's only an acheivement when a proper English home grown makes it anyway. Here's hoping for Josh

    I think Wes Brown was Man u's last English youth to make it. They did have this ugly,spotty twat called chadwick that was meant to be the next big thing but even he didn't make it.

    I think the only thing Whinger can take credit for is selling players on for vastly over inflated prices. But that's not the same as being a great youth coach,look at his first team. Arshavin,Nasri and Walcott didn't come cheap.

    Yes. Name me the last English Man U player to make it through the youths into the first team. Over the past 10 years or so we've had JT, Arse have had Cole. So we're even,unless you count Clichey.

    I'm not slating their youth system and i'm not saying ours is great. Just stating facts that Wenger's youth policy is a myth and the man is a bit of a fraud.

    Yes. If you take a 16/ 17 year old prospect from other youth teams then it's poaching their best youngsters. just because it's legal doesn't mean it's not poaching. Fabregas would have done just fine if he stayed at Barca. Look at Arsenals mickey mouse cup teams that were supposed to be the next big thing. Lupoli,Quincey- owusi,Hoyte,Senderos,Vela etc. Now all gone.

    Wenger is not the great youth coach he's made out to be. How many youngsters has he bought cheap and made into stars? Viera wasn't that cheap,Henry definately wasn't. Fabregas was poached young and at the time was considered the best in the world in his position. How many English players has he helped along? I can only think of our Ashley.

    The Wenger good with youth is a myth. No they're not. And you can't count Bruma and co. Just like you only counted JT in your other post.

    Hart,Richards and SWP aren't Man city youth products. We can laugh at Man city for the money spent because they have won zilch. One day we might not be able to laugh but for now we can.

    my view is this (call me a glory hunter or not a fan all you want) I don't think Carlo is good enough to be trusted in bringing the youth through and even if we spent £150m in the summer I still wouldn't feel too confident about winning the league. Lovely man,I'm not knocking him but I think we can get better.

    Without causing an argument can I just say that it's you that goes opposing any view by calling them a glory hunter.

    I feel sorry for the fans. Fayed telling them to lump it or go to hell. I'd throw my season ticket in his face if I were them. He hasn't done much for them apart from spending big on Van der Sar and £11m on flop Steve Marlet.
